    Homemade cinnamon bread pudding...so good!

WOW! WHAT A SURPRISE TO FIND THIS GEM on a back road. Don't let the golf course setting fool you, the food is 5 star worthy! As summer residents in the Lake George area, we're always looking for new restaurants with tasty food. A Corinth local at a firehouse pancake breakfast recommended The View while we were chatting about the lack of restaurants in the southern Adirondacks. She said it's at a beautiful wooded golf course called Brookhaven, which technically is in Porter Corners (a tiny blip of a spot) but is really near the town of Corinth. Anyways, the turkey club sandwich is made with real carved turkey baked fresh on site daily. My husband ordered it on our second visit (rather than get the Saturday night special prime rib...which I got and was excellent.) He had a bite of mine. The horseradish sauce was more horsey than sour cream and was on point! The baked potato was excellent too. My only tiny complaint was their could have been a few veggie sides to lighten it up but when you order prime rib you know that you're in for a heavy duty meal. The couple we went with were dessert folks so we ordered the bread pudding with vanilla IC, caramel and whipped cream. Also homemade and decadent. We left stuffed and happy. Will be going back again soon! If I can add photos, I'll show you the prime rib and bread pudding.

This is the perfect place to stop for some great service and high quality food - whether you are a golfer or not. I recently ate here for the first time, and our server, Kate, was super friendly and helpful. We tried their Buffalo chicken dip, the chicken parm hoagie and their western burger. Everything was delicious. Their onion rings came out perfectly (just the right onion to batter ratio!) and the horseradish sauce was a tasty accompaniment. Can't wait to try their prime rib on Saturday night!

We loved it. The turkey dinner was outstanding, just like Thanksgiving. Nachos very fresh. Prices are reasonable. Great place.

This had a "pizza farm vibe" without being in the middle of the countryside - charming, rustic, and…read morewarm. It's also very popular, and rightly so. I love when local eateries are well-loved because they deserve it. 9 Miles East Farm certainly does! A lot of the folks who came in for dinner wanted to sit on the terrace to bask in the last couple of hours of sun, but being from Florida I get overdosed with that and sat inside. I'm glad I did, the playlist reminded me of a Sunday picnic without being either. However, the atmosphere felt like that, even indoors. The owner was super personable, and the server was just the right amount of attentive. I ordered the chicken piri piri, and it presented beautifully. I felt comforted by the food. The tender grilled chicken parted from the bone with a twist of my fork and the mashed sweet potato was a great partner to the savory, citrusy, and slightly spicy piri piri. Im not even a chicken thigh person, but this dish changed me. I actually felt tended to and taken care of by the food! Does that even make sense??? It did when I was eating because that's how I felt. And the crazy thing is, I've been here once before. I loved what I ate, but it didn't feel like this. It's been a rough couple of months, but after this meal and listening to the carefree, but intentional music, it lit up my mood and my spirit. This will definitely be one of my go-to's when I visit Saratoga Springs, and I highly recommend 9 Miles East Farm to anyone. I think that a lot of people feel like they're visiting a friend's place when they come here. I definitely did.

There are dart boards and shuffleboard table, which were not in use. Our server was attentive and friendly, as were other staff we interacted with. Beer menu is extensive as you would imagine from the name, and they also have a separate cocktail menu (but we did try). Food was very good. I had The Cask. As long as you like goat cheese, you should like this sandwich. I loved it. Other meals included the pulled pork sandwich and Reuben. All were good. The order of garlic and rosemary fries are very crispy - good for snack or just pair with some beers. Overall, decent place and service. I would return!

Lake George, NY - with 16 craft beer selections on tap plus an extensive list of bottles and cans…read more(many niche labels I've never heard of), this is the spot to hit up if you like beers. We stumbled in for a late bite on a quiet winter carnival weekend and there were only a handful of patrons, mostly locals sitting at the bar. The bartender (and our server) Edward was friendly and kept an eye on us and made sure we had what we needed. The food is solidly average pub fare, not bad and perfectly serviceable, but it shouldn't be your primary objective if you're a foodie hunter like me. But on a main drag littered mostly with mediocre bar-restaurants charging tourist prices for tourist indifference, I'll take "just fine" as a win. I'm not much of a drinker but my husband liked his can of Copper Legend lager so much that he ordered another one to go. The location is conveniently central especially if you're staying on Canada St. or doing activities at the lake.
