When they bid the work, I found the price reasonable and inline with market expectations. When Shadrach arrived, he immediately went to work. While here, he highlighted an additional piece. I completely agreed with the additional piece and asked for the work to be done. When I received the invoice, I worked with Steven, the field supervisor, in a very amicable manner. Simply put, they know what they are doing and they are very fair and honest. If I ever need electrical work again, I will certainly call T&K Electric. I must also point out I had to ask T&K to return. After the roofing and the electrical work, summer arrived. My air conditioning did not function. T&K returned as if it was simply expected. Steven conducted the inspection. He reported his findings and said he went as far as an electrician could go. When the HVAC company arrived, the HVAC technician showed me the defective part and stated clearly why the part failed. Meaning the issue was solely a result of HVAC normal wear and tear. I found working with T&K Electrical very comforting. Even when the issue didn't involve them, they were very willing to investigate. He broke down the cost of the system and how the rebates would work and made sure I got the best deal possible! I did the finance option and Paula in the office was amazing and helped walk us through the process of applying for financing and making sure we got all the things needed to pay for the cost of the solar and get the rebates. When we began the install process we ran into heavy unexpected rainfall and had to reschedule. Brandon was quick to help set up a new day for install and the team working on the install were amazing and friendly and did an excellent time! They came out installed the system and made sure to do touch ups after the install. We had an outlet installed on the roofline also and despite being put in the wrong location originally Brandon and the crew made sure to make it right and fix it free of charge. We tried flipping all the breakers on and off 10 times and nothing would reset. I also tried resetting the ground switch on one of the outlets which would not click. That same outlet was really hot so I didn't want to mess with something potentially hazardous. These were the first electricians I found on Yelp and saw that they were licensed and offered free estimates. I called at 7:52AM and Autumn picked up 8 minutes before opening which was so nice and won my trust. She told me that she could get a technician out the same day and that they would do an inspection. To me, that sounded like a "free estimate" which is what is written on their Yelp business page. Gabe arrived and checked out the outlet with a volt meter, unscrewed it and inspected it. Then he went out and flipped a switch in my breaker box. Sadly my kitchen breakers were mislabeled by the previous home owner and the power was back on those 5 outlets. He was really nice about it and I said I felt confused for not realizing the mislabeled breakers and that miraculously it was suddenly working again. I waited to see if there was a service or labor fee. He still didn't say anything. So I straight up asked, "So is there a service fee for this?" He said, "It's $195." I thought it was a joke and asked, "wait for like 5 minutes of your time?" He was serious. I felt gutted. Ok so I get that I probably took up his time from another service appt so on a business standpoint, I am responsible for an hour of their time even if it's literally 5 mins bc they sent out a tech and time is money. But wow $195. It's like a whole day of work or with 20 meals. I should have been more detailed when I booked the appt and asked Autumn how much the service fee was going to be. I really wished she could have warned me about the pricing. I did ask Gabe for a discount and he asked me to leave a review and he would reduce the charge for $150. I really appreciated the discount and he was a nice guy and did solve the issue. So thank you Gabe and Firefly!

While this sounds easy to do, I have done it myself in the past, Eleazar and Gab had their hands full up in the attic trying to route and fish wire around some difficult framing which made me more than happy to turn over to the experts. But in no time they had it figured out and the fan completely installed. So I had them hang a replacement fan in the other room which was already wired up. Once again, thanks Firefly

I am filing this formal complaint against Fusion Power (also operating as Vector Energy) for multiple instances of misrepresentation, deceptive business practices, product deficiencies, and potential discrimination related to my solar energy system installation. Since entering into an agreement with this company, I have experienced financial harm, emotional distress, and a complete failure by Fusion Power to deliver on the promises made to me during the sales process. Despite assurances of significant cost savings, modern equipment, and professional service, my experience has been the opposite. My electricity bills have increased dramatically, my system appears to underperform, and I have been subjected to misleading sales tactics, lack of transparency, and dismissive treatment when seeking resolution. I also have reason to believe I was targeted and taken advantage of based on my gender and limited knowledge of the solar industry. The following points outline, in detail, the issues I have encountered and the significant impact this experience has had on both my finances and mental well-being. 1. Failure to Deliver Solar Productivity: I was promised substantial solar productivity (60-70%), yet my bills have only increased since installation. I've verified that my energy usage is half of what it was last year, so my bills should be significantly lower than initially quoted. 2. Outdated Technology: I was sold solar panels with technology that is at least two years old. This is deeply concerning, as I expected state-of-the-art systems to maximize my energy savings. 3. High-Pressure Sales Tactics: I attempted to cancel the contract before the panels were installed, only to receive a threatening email stating I would owe $8,000 in restocking fees. This is illegal and a clear example of high-pressure sales tactics. 4. Inappropriate Panel Selection: Fusion used Canadian 395 cells, but your salesperson opted for off-brand cells, which are less efficient and do not provide the expected solar generation. 5. I strongly suspect that I was targeted due to my gender and lack of familiarity with the solar industry. This experience has been both financially and emotionally draining, and the stress it has caused me is too much to handle. 6. During this process, my husband requested an annulment of our marriage, which has added to my mental state. 7. Many employees have told me that there is a major problem with my solar Kolton Blazel, Raphael Turner, Thomas Hansen, Diego Dimas, and multiple service technicians have come out to inspect my system, but Fusion Power continues to tell me that my system is working correctly. 8. Luke Ward (salesperson) and Raphael Turner (salesperson in training). Fusion Power terminated Luke Ward, and I was told the company would not take on any more legal cases resulting from Luke Ward's solar sales. Raphael Turner came to my home and spent several hours with me rebuilding the system and admitted there was an apparent problem with what was promised versus what was delivered. They oversold me on significant savings and delivered 100$ of dollars more in my electric costs. 9. I was told I would not have a solar bill for 6 months while I was adjusting to having solar. I was not told that during that time, I would accrue over $1800.00 in interest on that loan. 10. All documents were signed on a small iPad and where the small print was not an option to read. I asked multiple questions, and Luke Ward had all the right answers to sell me on solar due to the significant savings I would see. 11. Historically my SRP bills from 2023 to 2024, I have used a significantly less amount of KW in 2024 compared to 2023 yet my bills are 100$ of dollars more. 12. I spoke with another solar company Vitlpower who reviewed all this information and stated their company could have built me a better system for about $12,000 13. It was never disclosed to me about purchasing solar and what the red line was related to the total cost of my system versus the amount of commission they would make on my purchase.
