Normally, pickup orders are pretty fast, usually ready in less than 20 minutes. Unfortunately, today's experience was quite different. It took a total of 59 minutes to get my order. I arrived at the restaurant at the pickup time stated in their confirmation, only to wait another 30 minutes inside before my food was finally ready. I still enjoy their food and will continue to order from them, but today's experience was frustrating. A word of caution: If you're short on time, you might want to avoid ordering during the busy lunch rush, as the estimated pickup time may not be reliable.

Home Eat is a memorable name, and while it isn't a phrase that we might use often, it feels like a perfect encapsulation of the feeling of eating here, even if I've never eaten like this in my home or in any. Known for the chicken wings, yes, but try more. You may eat like a king or queen with just a few orders, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be the best Chinese cuisine I've ever sampled. They have a small dine-in area. If you need to satisfy that "fried food" craving, definitely try their basil popcorn chicken! You can choose your spice levels, but wish they offered a sauce to pair. I will say I appreciate the size and juiciness of the popcorn chicken bites! The pork cutlets were fried well but the breading just fell off. The grilled pork chop was pretty solid and had a good charbroiled flavor. The fried chicken was probably the best: it was juicy and crispy. However, it could've been better with a little more spice. I do like that it comes with a wedge of lemon to make the flavors a little more prominent. Service: N/A Not much of a service since you can order through the kiosk. You pick up your food when it's ready and it's pretty much self serve. Ambiance: 2/5 It's a pretty empty restaurant during the time we went on a weekday night, but there were still a couple of people. Felt like a cafeteria where we self serve and clean up after ourselves. Despite the rating, I would come back for a taste of home cooked meal from time to time. Very simple and balanced bento.

Had a great experience prior to this with a friend so I wanted to bring my mom to try. My experience from the service however was a little uncomfortable. When I went with my mom there was no customers. The server seated us at the bench closest to the wall (the table was pushed into the bench against the wall so we had to move it.) Apparently a lot of the legs on some of the tables and benches are wobbly so they put things under to balance it. The servers told us to move it back under the table since we pushed the table out to sit into the bench. My mom is older and she has a hard time walking, she asked to switch to another table where the benches and tables were already spaced out properly because it is hard for her to bend down and move the things under the table legs. The server gave my mom an attitude and asked why two people couldn't fit into our current table.
