It wasn't what I wanted so I asked to go back in and get it fixed (no biggy). She tells me the hair had come out wrong because I had used the wrong descriptive language. So I just apologized and asked her to fix it because it didn't look like the picture I provided. She told me she would have to charge me $300 for a whole new service. I was so upset! After a few back and forth a she agreed to fix it without charging me. She then informs me I would not be getting a hair and makeup trial for my wedding because of the double coloring. I told her I wasn't pleased but that I'd like a refund for the missed trials (as I had already paid). She agreed stating she would refund me $120 for the missed trials. A week later I reached out regarding the refund and she stated "I thought about it and I'm going to have to stick to my cancelation policy". Meaning she wouldn't refund me the full $120 as previously stated, despite the fact that the cancellation had been on her part not mine. At this point I'm frustrated, my wedding was in a week and she was stressing me out beyond belief. As the days go by I continue to fine but decide to put it aside as I had already paid her for my wedding hair and makeup, and she had made it very clear I couldn't cancel and get my money back. TWO DAYS before my wedding she cancels on me. She makes it sound like she's doing me some big favor "I don't think you will be happy with my work at this point". My mind was blown at that point. I let her know it was unprofessional and incredibly rude and thoughtless to cancel on a bride that close to her wedding. She then said she'd transferred my payment to some other hair stylist and she'd be doing my hair that day. Katlin believed this was a suitable solution of bailing on a bride two days before the wedding. This other stylist was professional and kind. But I had never met her. What Katlin did and how she handled herself was unprofessional in my opinion. I do not recommend you work with her as she is unpredictable, and unreliable in my opinion.
