My parents were using home warranty to insure their air conditioning units. A few weeks ago, they went on vacation and both of their air conditioners went down. Home warranty left my elderly parents without air conditioning for three days before telling them they could not get the evaporator coil for one and it needed replacement. The other machine also had a crack in the evaporator coil and had a bad motor. Home warranty did not authorize the technicians that came out to fix these problems. My parents were at their wits end as it was 115 outside that whole week. Upon calling Benefit AC, Chuck came out, assessed the situation, sized the machine requirements, and was able to give them a very reasonable price for replacing both units with a warranty for parts and labor. The units were installed quickly and efficiently two days later. Chuck and Kyle worked in the blistering heat all day to ensure we had cooling over the weekend to come. Another week would pass and the monsoons came. Our roof began to leak. Even though we knew it was most likely not related to the new units, Benefit AC sent Chuck out to assess the situation again. Their roof needs work and the leak was unrelated to the new machines. Chuck took the time to clear the roof of debris and cleared the gutters that were clogged with debris as well. My family cannot begin to tell you how thrilled we are with Benefit AC service department for their care and professionalism. Thank you! read more

We had our air conditioner go out over the weekend. Fortunately it was only in the 90's. I called Benefit Air and they were out Monday. Within 30 minutes Kyle had it diagnosed. There is a leak some where and the refrigerant was low. He added enough to give us cool air again. The unit is 15 years old so they will be replacing our entire system. Great Customer Service from the entire crew. The reason I called Benefit Air to begin with. About four years ago we had problems. It seemed the air was cool, there was no freezing but not a lot of air flow. We paid two other companies to come out and paid money but they couldn't fix. They just wanted to replace the whole system. I had heard of Benefit Air from ads and called them. The tech came out and after looking over the system said he thought there was maybe a duct that had come loose under the house. He crawled under our house, in the 3' craw space. He found that one of the main ducts had come loose, the cold air was just blowing underneath the house, so reconnected it and all worked fine. He wouldn't take any money. I tried to give him $100 cash and he wouldn't take it. Come to find out he was Ken the owner. He said just to call them when we decide to replace the unit. Now that is a great company. Everyone from this company has the same attitude he had. Friendly, Professional, and very responsive. read more

I called Benefit Heating and Air based on the Yelp review I read. I was not disappointed. I called at 20 minutes to closing time but they still offered to squeeze me in that evening. It was 105 outside but I told them that since I had evaporative cooling as a backup I'd be happy with an afternoon appointment the next day. They set me up with an appointment between 1:00 and 3:00 and told me that a technician would call before coming. Sure enough, Joshua called at about 12:30 the next day and said he finished another job early and said he could be here in 10min if I wanted him to come early. Of course I said yes. He arrived within 10 min and immediately got to work. It turned out that AC unit had a burned out contactor. Joshua explained all my options and never once tried to push me into anything I didn't want. The service call was very reasonable and the labor was as well. I was really pleasantly surprised by the low total cost of the repair. The company that originally put in my new unit had also serviced my old one. I know now the former company always greatly inflated the price of labor and parts compared to Benefit Heating and Air. I highly recommend them as a company with fair prices and fair practices. I will definitely call them if I need service in the future. read more

I was out of town on Family emergency, came back into town and my heat was not working. Since it was the holiday, figured no one would call me back till next week, so ended up using space heaters and placed a call. Benefit Air Conditioning had previously handled my sisters AC unit but that was years ago, thankfully my sister gave me their contact information. Even though a holiday week, after I called them, they reached out and were out at my home on Black Friday, to look at what they could do. Their HVAC engineer showed up within the time they mentioned, fully wearing masks , and called me 30 minutes prior to showing up. Then they were able to identify the problem and provide me options to repair now, so I could go through the weekend without using space heaters and a path to replace...my ailing system. If you need HVAC repair or replacement, these folks are honest and knowledgeable, provided me with details. At the end of their support call, they went through the detailed receipt, and I just have to shout it out, God Bless these guys. read more

We just want to express our KUDOS to Benefit for their timely & awesome service we received from Benefit Air. our heat pump went out, we got bids from 3 contractors and Benefit seemed to be the choice for us. their warranty program is reassuring in the aspect that they will be there for a client when action is needed not just next year but for the next 10 years for warranty. my husband is currently dealing with health issues and our "Comfort Specialist" Paul Howard did everything to get the new unit up on our roof ASAP. KUDOS to Paul for expediting the install as timely as he did, Thanks Paul. the turn around time was awesome and the staff that came to our home to remove/install were great!! As far as we are concerned, you get what you pay for and we feel confident that the money we spent on our system was worth every penny!! We will definitely will be recommending Benefit Air to friends/family in the future. Arlette & Tim D. read more

These guys are THE BEST in the business! If you're looking for honest, hard-working technicians who don't work on commission and won't sell you something you don't need, call Benefit Air. Chuck serviced our air conditioning unit for an inspection and tune-up. He was on time, thorough, and our unit was blowing MUCH colder air by the time he was finished. We've had MANY friends' air conditioners go out in the middle of summer this year. Some of them waited for DAYS and DAYS before they could get help. Our friends who hired Benefit Air received next-day service and were back in their homes in no time at all! It's tough these days to find people you can trust, and we trust Benefit Air. They are fast, reliable people with a passion for serving their clients. We couldn't recommend them any more highly. read more

My experience with these guys suggests that they are absolutely straight shooters. I called Benefit (in Jan 2014) because my home inspection report said my A/C needs to be serviced, because the temperature differential is too low and it isn't cooling as effectively as it should. Even though it was warm at the time, the guys at Benefit told me that testing right now wouldn't be as effective as testing during the summer, so they recommended I wait until temperatures warm up. I also told them I have a home warranty, and they recommended I try to address the problem with the warranty company during the summer. In short, these guys passed on work to save me $$$ and to ensure the service was performed at a time when it would be best. I doubt many other companies would do that. read more

Benefit Air is the real deal when it comes to honest, dependable HVAC service! Paul and his team have taken care of both my home and business, and I honestly couldn't ask for a better partner. They replaced the AC unit at our CarLife Auto Repair location in Scottsdale and have handled several home repairs and seasonal tune-ups, including keeping our swamp coolers happy and humming. Every technician they've sent has been professional, knowledgeable, and--bonus--just the sweetest guys you'll ever meet. Whether it's emergency repairs or routine maintenance, I can count on Benefit Air to arrive, communicate clearly, and complete the job correctly. Thank you, Paul, for always going above and beyond. You've earned our business for life! read more

Jeremy came to our house to do maintenance on our roof heat pump and in-house air purifier, known as a Trane Clear Aire. J was professional and friendly and did not miss a beat as far as covering all maintenance activities. I could converse with him lightly without his being too distracted. He was willing to answer questions I had about what manner of air conditioning machine I should get when the warranty ran out of the one he serviced. He should consider getting covid-19 immunization for the sake of Benefit customers who are prone to the disease (I had my shots). I have never regretted using Benefit air; all the workpeople we have seen seem to be a class act whose company I would recommend. read more

I've been in the heating and air conditioning business for over 20 years and, in that time, I've dealt with hundreds of companies in one facet or another. Trust me when I say you won't find a more competent or reasonably priced company than Benefit, especially in the valley. Mike and his crew know what they're doing and they do it well. But most importantly, they don't keep it all. These guys give more back to their community, both personally and professionally, than anyone I've come across. Give them a chance, you won't be disappointed. read more

I work in the Restoration industry and we have had a lot of calls pertaining to damage being done from clogged condensation lines. Our techs know right away who had done the install of A/C units before even asking the client. Benefit Air takes pride in their work, it shows through and through. Our clients love you guys. Thank you for taking time on each and every one of your jobs to make sure the equipment is installed correctly, especially the drain line pans. Sounds small but that is a huge detail to us. Thank you Mike and Team!! read more

Ken and his crew are simply the very best at what they do. We had 10+ year old York unit that had failed for the last time on Friday night One of Ken's techs was out on Saturday and we opted to buy a new unit. John and Jeremy installed the new unit. They were very professional and polite. The entire install was orchestrated perfectly. They really went out of their way to make this a good experience. I highly recommend Benefit Air for any air conditioning or heating needs. They really get two thumbs up from me. read more

I love Benefit Air Conditioning! When I purchased my home in 2010 Benefit Air Conditioning installed my new a/c unit - they were so patient and answered all my questions! They removed the old swamp cooler and installed the new unit and it has worked wonderfully for the last 10 years! They've come back twice a year since installing the unit to do a spring and fall check-up on the unit and make sure that everything is working well. My tech is Kole and he's awesome. Benefit has given us great service at our home for over six years. They respond to phone calls quickly, show up ON TIME, clean up any mess before they leave, give us a fair and accurate price, and are consistently polite and pleasant. Nice guys, highly skilled, and high integrity. Last Fri. evening our emergency call was answered within 2 hours, the tech was out the next morning, and the whole repair done before noon. G. We've used benefit air for not only the home we live in (they were awesome, right on it, and affordably priced), but we have used them for ongoing maintenance on ALL our rental properties. They have amazing response times for the services we've needed (even in the height of summer when they're crazy busy) AND because their techs aren't commissioned, you never feel like they're just trying to sell you something expensive. read more

I could not be present during the repair visit so I really appreciated that Kole from Benefit Air communicated well, calling me prior to his arrival, again when he assessed the issue and again when he had repaired the AC blower. Since the unit is very old I appreciated that he also alerted me to potential future issues, fixes and their associated costs. That'll help me prepare for the future if those issues occur. read more

Great experience all around. Juan was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to explain what was going on, what he did, and how to help prevent future issues. Very professional and friendly. The company that installed the unit couldn't come until Saturday, but Benefit got me on their schedule the same day. Saving us from the hottest days of the year. Thank you Benefit Air for finally resolving our A/C issues! We made the mistake of having another company out first who was not able to fix it and yet still charged us! Benefit came out, discovered what the problem was, explained to me what they needed to do to fix it and got it up and running again. They were very professional and accommodating!
