    Toy story theme cookies.
    Laura H.

These ladies saved my boys birthday party. I'm very pregnant, and didn't have the ability to make cookies like I traditionally do. They put together several adorable designs to go with our toy story theme. They were the talk of the party. I will definitely use these guys again and highly recommend.

Uh-mazing baby shower bouquet by Gina. Look at that detail! Thank you SO much!!

I ordered a bouquet for a baby shower and Gina did an amazing job! The bouquet turned out better than imagined, and Gina went out of her way on her day off for me to pick it up! She really cares about her work and it shows!

The first thing I saw was the beautiful bakery case filled with breads, rolls and drippy gooey cinnamon rolls1. I ordered from a very friendly staff member with a beautiful smile. I decided on an egg sandwich served on a toasted, incredibly soft, house-made milk bun. Layered with a flavorful chimichurri aioli and topped with melted Queso Oaxaca cheese. I love the added crunch with pickled radish, carrots, and fresh sprouts, which cut through the richness with a bright, tangy bite. Seriously, it was mouth watering delicious and probably the most unique breakfast sandwich I have ever had. As I write this my mouth is watering thinking about it! The vanilla lattes are not average they were lovely. It's cool that the beans are sourced from plantations in Veracruz, Mexico. Not overly sweet with milk frothed to the perfect drinkable temperature.

Who knew one could find Paris quality croissants in Bend, Oregon?…read more We were in town for our family reunion and two summers ago we held it at the Paris Olympics so our point of comparison is valid. Twice I went to M's to pick up a large assortment of pastries for our family of 21 and everything was outstanding and compared favorably to the best we had in France. We were staying at the Riverhouse Lodge and it was an easy 7 minute drive to get to the Old Mill location with plenty of parking. Both days no chocolate/almond croissant, which was sad. Standouts: - almond croissant 5/5 - chocolate croissant 5/5 - ham and cheese croissant 5/5 - gochujang twist 5*5 (so unique and so bummed they didn't have it the second day) - kouigh amman 5/5 - almond pecan sandie 5/5 Solid choices: - monkey bread 4/5 (a bit smaller than what I'm used to and more bready than pastry, no frosting as I'm more used to seeing) - milk bread 4/5 (solid offering) - blueberry scone 4/5 (a little bit too fruit forward so very messy to eat but still yummy) - blueberry buckwheat muffin 4/5 (also a bit too fruit forward so very messy to eat, but still yummy) We didn't try any of their breads but the selection looks great!

The Madagascar vanilla is wonderful and I'd recommend it for the lattes. Got an americano as well and love the bold flavor. The pastries look amazing and there's a ton of variety. This place had been on my list of Bend area shops that really cares about espresso, not just sugar…read morebombs. It did not disappoint. I dropped in on a fairly busy Saturday morning, and awaited my turn in line. Upon getting to the counter, I was pleased to see there were two offering, their Ridgeline blend, and a single origin. As I always do, I selected a doppio of each with a sparkling water chaser The cups were both very good. The blend was smooth, with more of an expected chocolate and nutty overtone, and the single origin (Ethiopia, I believe) was definitely more of a lighter, fruitier offering with higher acidity and a little less body, but making up for it with that fruity punch. The cafe itself was definitely kind of loud, being of the industrial, open design and a lot of customers, but it's a big enough space to be airy and didn't feel closed in. The roastery is in an adjacent room, and I got to watch them bagging some coffee as I drank mine. It was a good visit, definitely worth it if you're into espresso.
