Today we stopped in at the ice cream shop in Nocatee because it was their free cone day. I love this company! The shop is in the town center area of Nocatee. It is a bright colorful ice cream shop with about 12-14 different flavors of ice cream. They had plenty of Staff working today, as well as a face painter too. There was also a backdrop with balloons in front of the store for picture taking opportunities. My cone of ice cream and cookies tasted great. read more

Ordered from Uber Eats and the store went above and beyond! I ordered a dairy free sundae with df chocolate syrup and df whipped cream. They were out of the df toppings so they put the regular versions on the side and hand wrote a note letting me know they were not in fact dairy free. I stopped in for ice cream last weekend. The store was pretty crowded. We waited about 10-15 minutes to place our order. I hadn't been to Ben & Jerry's in years so I had to sample a few flavors. I went with salted caramel and topped it with hot fudge and it was yummy! I ordered a small but it was more than enough. They also have pints for sale in the freezer. It was a nice way to end a Saturday evening. I would absolutely shop here again for a creamy scoop of goodness! But next time hit then up a slower week day;) read more

I was super excited when I heard that Ben & Jerry's was opening in the Nocatee area. Why you ask? Ben and Jerry's reminds me of college (ah youth), and since I'm from New York and lived so close to Vermont, it reminds me of living in Upstate New York. This Ben and Jerry's is located in the new plaza, across from Publix, near the Greenwise and next to Good Beer. The parking lot directly across from Ben Jerry's is somewhat small and not a ton of parking, but there is parking behind Ben and Jerry's and also near Greenwise. We parked and me and my little gent walked into Ben Jerry's. It wasn't super busy, which was good, but they did have social distancing spots on the ground, to make sure if there is a line, you're social distanced properly. We walked in and the entire place smelled like homemade waffle cones. What a glorious smell! Little nugget wanted his usual (wherever we go), chocolate ice cream. If you're as indecisive as me, due to all their flavor choices, it's best to go online and look at the flavors, so you can whittle them down when you arrive. Since I took some time to look over the menu at home, I decided to get a small cup (which BTW holds two scoops) and one scoop of Cannoli and once scoop of peanut butter half baked. The girl working the counter was nice and friendly. So one of the things I wasn't jazzed about was when I asked if I could get tops for our ice creams, since we'd be taking these home, they didn't have tops for their ice cream cups. This was a bummer, because it took a few attempts at putting a larger cup on top of the smaller cup to make sure these made the trip home. So my recommendation to Ben and Jerry's, please make tops, for those that are still taking their items to go. Workers were wearing masks, so that was great. The trip home was a little rocky, we had some melting that went into my cup holder. No bueno. I don't like sticky messes :(. Anyway, dug into my ice cream and my first bite was the Cannoli. It was good, was it my favorite? No. It was a tad too sweet and the cannoli shell was a bit soggy. The peanut butter half baked was delicious. I loved the mix of chocolate and peanut butter ice creams mixed with cookie dough and brownie chunks. No complaints from my little angel. He loved the chocolate ice cream! Prices? Prices are a tad steep. It came to over nine dollars for a kids cup and a small scoop. I just paid 7.10 for one kids scoop in a basic cone. They charged for the kids scoop and 1.65 on top of that for a cone . She asked cup or cone and didn't mention it was a different price for a kids scoop. I totally understand the fresh made waffle cone or a chocolate dip cone. When I asked her about it she said she had to charge me separate for a cone. After paying, I went back to look at the posted menu and the only charges for a cone posted are for a waffle cone or chocolate dipped. I wonder if they charge you for a cup too. read more

My husband and I were out for a drive on a Sunday with our dog, and we decided to stop for a treat in Nocatee. I had mentioned that a Ben & Jerry's had opened up, so we pulled off to stop for ice cream. It is tucked away from the main road, which makes it nice since it wasn't crowded or hard to find a parking space near it. We were able to walk inside with our dog, without the girl saying anything to us about him coming into the store. I picked the Tonight Dough in a small cup and my husband chose the Half Baked in a small cup as well. For $12, you get a decent amount of scoop in the cup. We were able to sit outside and eat our ice cream. It was a nice visit and definitely a treat for the day! read more

Went today and purchased 3 cups. I got two scoops of the whiskey wiz and the ice cream was good however the amount of two scoops was very small didn't even go over the the top lip of the small cup. It was almost the same size as the other two kids cups I ordered. Not disappointed in the flavor but I feel I was robbed spending over $15 in ice cream for two kids cups (1 scoop each) and a cup with not much more than the kids cup. I have been here a dozen or so times as I live in Noc and the amount has never been this small. I said something to the staff but he was unwilling to change anything. Disappointed. I was debating on going here or checking out the new Flo's Premium up the street. Guess where I'll be going next time. Sunday afternoon jaunt to Nocatee just to visit this new location of Ben & Jerry's. We appreciated the dots on the floor encouraging people to spread out while waiting to place their order. The staff was incredibly friendly, pointing out fresh baked waffle cones (dipped and not dipped) and welcoming us to try any flavor we desired. Not being able to figure out how to safely remove our masks to try a small bite, we declined samples today. We hope to be back in the future when mask-wearing isn't such an issue (for us!) They has a nice variety of ice creams, many familiar flavors and a few new ones. DH went with a single scoop of "Chocolate Therapy" in a cup. I was more daring, trying the unfamiliar (to me) "Boots on the Moon" a milk chocolate concoction featuring chocolate cow pieces and sugar cookie balls. Despite being doubtful about the sugar cookie element, they were my favorite part of my ice cream! I also added a dash of hot fudge and a sprinkling of walnuts. Tasty & filling. They have a nice covered porch and several metal tables right outside of the shop and this is where we decided to enjoy our ice cream. Genuinely disappointed. I do generally like Ben & Jerry's ice cream & I support what they stand for but can't help to feel shortchanged. I'm sure this isn't a reflection on the company or store owner as price was to be expected and the cleanliness of the store was pristine. Unfortunately my review will not be a positive one. This is predominantly based on the service and lack of quality of the product. Let me explain... I was on a family outing today and after spending time at the park we decided we'd have to take things inside due to the weather. So, we made a stop at M-shack (what does a different restaurant chain have to to with this? Well, Our choice and selection for food was predominantly based on convenience, but more so on the sweet treat of a shake with our meal. Unfortunately, their machine was broken so they were unable to fulfill our shake order. My husband suggested Ben & Jerry's so I acquiesced. I do typically indulge in their Chunky monkey ice cream as I am a fan of bananas and of course chocolate. Originally had planned to order a banana chocolate shake from M-shack so I was looking to accomplish the same type of order. When I arrived, the girl inside provided two options of accomplishing this goal. She said I can either mix chunky monkey with chocolate ice cream or I can mix chunky monkey with fudge either option would accomplish this goal. I chose the latter. She also asked me if I wanted whipped cream on top of each of the shakes which I had said yes. Now, weather it was because she was being lazy or because she simply forgot due to the fact that she was visibly stoned neither of these requests were accomplished. Also, leaving the store after paying $24 for three shakes I left with a over blended predominantly milk - milkshake. Any other day of the week I would not mind paying $24 for three milkshakes but being that they were not made remotely like I requested.
