The brisket was decent (a little dry), the sauces were delicious. The collared greens had an interesting kick. At first I thought I liked it, but after a while I decided these greens weren't for me. The smoked beans were pretty solid. I'd definitely be curious to try some other things - the spicy chicken, the mac n cheese, etc. Hoping I'm back here for work some day to give it another whirl!

I ordered online and picked up in store, and it was a pretty seamless and quick process. They have a separate area for picking up orders vs eating in, which helps with making it faster to pick up orders. This was admittedly quite a long time ago, so my memory about the food itself is a bit spotty, but I think it stayed pretty well for when we ate it. Inside looks pretty nice too, but didn't eat in at the time. Maybe one day in the future. If they can do well with keeping dairy and egg ingredients at bay, even better!

I actually wasn't going to even do that, but my friend really wanted to try it. I showed her my earlier review and said that was what she was going to get into, but she wanted to give it a shot anyway. Definitely no improvement. Employees are still completely uninformed about the menu, rude, and borderline condescending. Barely any sauce on the chicken, and when I asked for some more sauce, they had the nerve to charge me two dollars for sauce I had never gotten to begin with. Food was either lukewarm or room temperature, no higher. And, every meal we ordered was extremely light on the protein, mostly rice and minimal vegetables. I don't know how this dumpster fire continues to exist, but that's that.

Ambiance was nice enough and the music playing was a fantastic mix of classic rock. We both started with soup. My husband with the gumbo with cornbread and me with a daily special mushroom and brisket soup. Both were wonderful. The cornbread is off the hook and the gumbo was so flavorful with a really nice kick. Entrees were the pistachio crusted chicken for my husband. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside with crabmeat on top, served with garlicky mashed potatoes and some veggies. I had the shrimp and grits which is a go to item for me and they out did themselves. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and the grits were delicious with Tasso ham; just the right bite with some spice. Service was pleasant if a little slow but the food and music more than made up for it. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back!!

We stopped in here after many a drive by. We are always on the hunt for a good chicken and waffles…read moreand here we found a tasty one. The chicken was nicely crispy and moist and it appeared to be two boneless thigh pieces. The waffle was thin and light and eggy almost like a brioche dough. The syrup was a cholula maple which was all over. I would have preferred a side of it to put it exactly where I wanted it. I say that because there was also a side of potatoes and two slices of bacon on the plate, both which were good but didn't bring anything to the plate. I would have preferred a bit more waffle and maybe a bacon crumble. My dining partner ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was absent of any heat. It was well prepared, just not what was ordered. Service was pleasant and efficient.

Being from the Philly area, we honestly don't have a ton of really good, authentic Korean BBQ…read moreoptions around here. I'm so tired of the fake k-pot style bbq....I've eaten authentic Korean BBQ in KOREA, in Vegas, my mom's house ;), NYC Koreatown, Annandale/Northern VA, and plenty of other places over the years, so I'm probably a little harder to impress than most when it comes to Korean food. That said -- this place in Exton is legit. I drive about 40 minutes just to come here, and there are plenty of restaurants much closer to me. That alone probably says enough. The meat is consistently fresh and good quality, the banchan actually tastes like Korean banchan should, and the whole meal just feels authentic rather than some watered-down version of Korean BBQ made for people who have never had the real thing. The flavors, marinades, side dishes and overall experience remind me of the Korean food I grew up eating and the places I've eaten at in Korea. That's hard to find around the Philly suburbs. Open late like good kbbq spots are supposed to, good drinks, not fancy, but authentic. What brings me back to my childhood - stainless steel thin metal bowls, cups, water out of a jug, absolutely nail the combination of quality, authenticity, and price. There is a reason I'll drive 40 minutes each way when I'm craving Korean BBQ instead of just picking somewhere closer. If you know Korean food, you'll appreciate this place. If you don't know Korean food yet, this is a pretty damn good place to start.

They were able to accommodate solo dining like myself which was fantastic, although it wasn't busy when I went. The quality of the BBQ meats were better than I expected. The side dishes were amazing as well, really enjoyed the pickled radish. I also had fried rice cakes and gyoza which came out very crispy and fresh. I think my favorite two of the meats were definitely the Kalbi marinated steak and spicy pork belly as both had lots of flavor and were very tender. Was surprised to see a great KBBQ spot in this area of PA.
