The ambiance is great, especially in the warm weather, outside. The food is ALWAYS delicious, thanks to Dillon. Sarah and Tania are on top of their game behind the bar. Always scanning the bar while waiting for a pint to fill. Sheryl, Sam, Heather B and Lauren not only remember you name, but frequently what you ordered last visit. We tell all of our friends to go there. Frequently taking some with us. I think one word describes The Whip perfectly, FUN!!!

There is a cute outside patio but we ate at the bar with the seasoned veterans. Our waitress had the right amount of spice to add to this dining adventure. It was a dining experience, in a word, that was perfect! So much fun and so many great food choices. We cannot wait to come back!

He reseated me and went right back to the cash register. Then he immediately sat a couple at that same table without cleaning it. At my new table, I picked up the menu and there was a food chunk stuck to it (see picture). Gross. Also 3-5 flies hovering around throughout my meal. I had been to Kelly's many times but never saw this kind of filth and carelessness. I was ready to walk out when my server came and I decided to stay. Service and food were good as usual for Kelly's. I think what happens when a place becomes successful, apathy sets in. Kellys is such a local staple that I guess the owner doesn't need to care enough about cleanliness any more. If the dining room was this bad I can't imagine the kitchen area or the rest rooms. Again, food and service were good but I don't think I will be going back there for a while. I'd like to see a few Chester County inspections first. Too bad because I like Kelly's. Two-Star for Kelly's onlt on the strength of their food and service.

There are so many nice places to sit outside with a bottle of wine and a book or snacks. Rooms are very unique and comfortable. You have a lot of different personalities to choose from: lofts, cabins, barn spaces, etc. Many have jacuzzis which can provide your evening entertainment, lol. We have not eaten in the restaurant because our top restaurant on earth is very close by, but when it was closed, Josh gave us great recommendations. And he made a lovely tofu scramble for breakfast as a special request. One sweet touch: despite checking the room, we left without my spouse's expensive phone charger. Housekeeping found it and ran after us before we could drive off without it. She did not have to do that. Always tip your housekeeping staff. The extended Covid months have been very hard on inns, restaurants, and event spaces, and it must be stressful for them as things come back to life when so many events have been postponed. A lot of different flavor combinations (they like to do salé and sucré), beautiful plating, interesting textures, and good cooking techniques. My favorites were the octopus appetizer (so buttery soft and tender, which is a rarity) and the pheasant special, which was a pleasant and apropos surprise in this outdoor, country setting. Finally, this is a BYOB restaurant with perfectly selected wine glasses, fine silverware, and other special touches such as a freshly starched linens, etc. which elevate the dining experience.
