    Awful: Greasy and fatty

The food at this food truck was awful. Not only was the pulled pork fatty but the brisket was too. The meat seemed like it had been sitting in a vat of grease. The mac and cheese and beans were not good either. I threw away almost all of it. I am not sure how they have a 4.8 rating based on the slop I was given yesterday, but I will definitely not be returning to this business.

Outstanding mouth watering beef brisket. Plentiful, tasteful meat. Slaw and pickles were delicious. Had Mac and cheese as a side.

We were the first ones to arrive, and the young man working the register was patient and answered all our questions as first-time customers. The wait for our food was reasonable. The same person who had taken our order came back to bring it and apologized for the slight delay. They had to make more steak. We ordered the ultimate Italian, a cheesesteak hoagie, and a regular steak with onions and mushrooms. This hidden gem has been serving up delicious food for years. The hoagies were fresh, generous, and simply mouthwatering. They were among the best steaks and hoagies we've ever had. The steak meat had a slight saltiness, but it enhanced the overall flavor, making it a pleasant taste. The fries were cooked perfectly, hot, and crispy, staying fresh and crispy throughout the meal. It would be challenging to finish an entire hoagie in one sitting, so I'm happily writing this review the next day at work, savoring the other half of my sandwich. Since we live on the other side of Chester County, it's an easy half hour-long drive to come here. We'll definitely be making the trip again, whether it's after church each week or not. Well done!

Right near the Exton Mall, I swung by yesterday after shopping at Boscov's for Christmas presents and opted for a slice of the ir Pizza for a light lunch. Yes, I saw several of their cheesesteaks carried by to other customers but tasting one will be on my next trip, but the thick , generous portion of rib eye steak, Coooer cheese, spilling out of a seeded roll for an astounding $15 looks like an incredible deal. But I digress- this family- run restaurant knows how to make astonishingly great pizza, and can do any of their offerings on GLUTEN-FREE crust. They use Imported Italian flours and cook up their crusts crispy, well done, and delicious that beats the mouth-feel of anything I have had in the area. The meats are of superior quality and flavor, and everything is available by the slice and displayed in a case of fresh slices in so great a variety you will have difficulty choosing just one! The slice named "The Charlie" called out to me, totally on visual appeal, and I learned secondarily that it sported classic pizza sauce, creamy Mozerella, pepperoni, finished with pecorino Romano, fresh Basil, and hot honey- It knocked my socks off! Whether you are in the mood for an amazing pizza, or a cheesesteak, you've gotta try this place. It is clean, well staffed, with a great vibe! Find it a coupla blocks from the mall, on Lancaster Ave across the street from the Sherwin Williams paint store.

Waiting for their feedback: don't let me down Gentili's. The feedback: the chef, very picky Italian chef, was blown away (his benchmark was Geno's, so). The Jersey Mike's fans were likewise impressed admitting Jersey Mike's is a bad facsimile... My mission to conquer mediocre and bad cheesesteaks, and uninformed/misinformed opinions, continues...

This one is off my list based on my two recent visits. You are encouraged to pay online as there are 'Perks' that come with doing that. Great! On my last visit, I ordered through the app but they did not provide for a discount offered by a local fundraiser. I figured I would deal with that on pickup. I got in the store and one guy was still making my sandwiches. Another emerged from the back and then went back and hid some more not asking me if I had to pay, needed anything else, etc. Okay.... The guy finishes my order and says here it is. I told him I have this discount. He says, "It's already paid for." I said yes, but I could not apply this discount. He said, "It's too late." I guess I shouldn't have put a tip on the order either. Needless to say, I won't be back. FYI, on my last visit my husband went in and paid cash and got very slow service and the same runaround about the card by some other less than helpful counterperson. So, I guess they agree to provide the discount and then try to give you all sorts of reasons not to grant it. Maybe that is or isn't true, but they sure make it seem so.

I went to Middle Child a few weeks ago just after 3, only to find it closes at 3. Today I returned, around 1, and there was a good crowd there having lunch. I ordered the Surfer, and the Hash Brown Potatoes. The Surfer is Middle Child's most popular sandwich. It's made on a Ciabatta bun, and has a thick layering of tender, lean, House Turkey breast, with melty Swiss cheese, arugula, blueberry chutney, and Duke's mayo. It's hard to describe just how delicious this sandwich was. My biggest concern was the Ciabatta bun - it's not one of my favorites, as I've found them to be tough and difficult to bite through. My fears were quickly put to rest after the first bite! The bun had a slightly crispy exterior - and when I followed through with my first bite, the tender, soft interior of the Ciabatta was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it complemented the thick savory Turkey, arugula, chutney and mayo! It was one of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Now, if that wasn't enough, don't forget, I ordered the Hash Brown Potatoes. It said Hash Browns on the blackboard, see attached picture, but these 'weren't your Mama's hash browns'! They are described online as Latka'd Hash Browns. They are thick crispy squares that combine a potato pancake latke with a hash brown texture. The interior reminded me of my mother's potato kugel, which I still reminisce about. In one word, those fried crispy potato squares were outstanding. It's 'a must try' and goes so well with the Surfer! Last, but not least, the Limeade! It was so refreshing! Not too tart, not too sweet... just right! I'll be returning to Middle Child in the not too distant future!

The corned beef was an enticing vibrant pink, tender and juicy, with a perfectly balanced and pure saltiness that accentuated the beef's natural flavor. The scrambled eggs were incredibly smooth and creamy, complemented by the rich, melted cooper sharp cheese. The rye was toasted with butter, giving it a thin, crispy crust and a soft interior--a bit softer than Hershel's East Side Deli's, fragrant but not greasy. Every part was delicious, and the combination was harmonious and delightful. The portion of ingredients was very generous, definitely worth the $14.50 price. The service was a little slow, but the moment you tasted it, you would forgive everything!
