We go to Happy Days frequently for breakfast and are never disappointed. The weekend buffet is excellent as well as the service.

The soup was amazing this is a beautiful family establishment with great customer service. Everybody seem like they know each other so they have repeat customers. I would definitely go back everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. read more

I'm in my 50's and remember the show "happy days" and imagine my surprise stumbling by a place that was named after the show, so I had to check it out, I was happy to find a dish named after the fonz and I had to try it out , it was good....the service was great, the staff was super nice and the place was pretty clean, I like how the give you an option of either a breakfast buffet or you can sit down and order, never seen that in a diner before, either way we would definitely came back if we are in the area again. read more

The place is very clean. The customer service is good. The prices are excellent, the food is good.

Fresh, tasty breakfast dishes. Ordered delivery and got a croissant, bagel, mushroom omelette, and breakfast sampler. The eggs were fluffy, the meats were flavorful, and the pancakes were perfect in the sampler. Great portion of mushrooms in the omelette. Fresh bagel and croissant with cream cheese and whipped butter. Great packaging and definitely ordering again read more

This rating is for a diner! Updated review. I've been coming here since 2010. Ambiance: Clean, comfortable diner atmosphere. Seating: Many booths. Service: Friendly and attentive. Crowd: Mixed, mainly older. Drinks: N/A (no alcohol) Food: Food is surprisingly good for a diner. (on average) NE Clam chowder had large bits of clams. Chicken Caesar salad was good; chicken was freshly cooked and juicy. Restrooms: Clean Parking: Plenty of parking in lot. Value: Good bang for your buck. Experience: Nice atmosphere, friendly service, food was above average for a diner, no complaints. Will be back! read more

Impressively bad! I have only been here one time so take this with a grain of salt but, this place was so bad i found it impressive. The egg sandwich I ordered was handed to me in a puddle on the plate. The egg was so under done that the biscuit was saturated with uncooked egg. The home fries were edible but basically nothing more than unseasoned, half cooked potato slices. And the vanilla milkshake tasted like it was a few days past it's expiration date. I have literally NEVERE had a milkshake in my life that i wouldn't drink until today. My wife said her waffle was fine but it looked pretty burnt to me (she doesn't like to complain). I didn't try it so i will have to take her word. Somehow the waitress didn't think to ask why i took one bite of the sandwich and pushed it aside. But considering it came as a "puddle" on the plate she probably knew and just didn't wanna hear about it. All in all the experience was SO bad that it was comedically impressive. I had a good laugh about it after we left. Maybe it was just a bad cook that day or whatever. I dunno. I don't like to judge places based on one bad experience but this was so bad i just HAD to write about it. read more

Visiting my sister in the area and she wanted to come here for dinner. I'm always game for a good diner but I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. The positives: we were seated promptly and our server was good. My sister and my grandmother appeared to have no issues with their food (omelette and something else) The restrooms were also clean. Unfortunately my Chicken Croquette meal left something to be desired. While the portion size was generous and included the soup and salad bar, the croquettes themselves were unseasoned and the mashed potatoes and gravy had obviously been sitting all day. The potatoes had a 'crust' on one scoop and the gravy was congealed. (I must have been the only one to order them that day). I'd expect that if I was eating at a buffet with hot plates but never in a restaurant setting. The table behind us also complained to the waiter about their dinner as well and sent it back. It's a shame because I love diners but my food left something to be desired for sure. If you just order breakfast food, it seems like you should be okay. read more

Our go to local eatery. Everything on the menu is great, service is terrific, and atmosphere is warm and friendly. Never disappointed.

I like the fact that you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner items anytime you want during their operational hours. They have great soups and recently reopened their salad bar. They also have daily specials and a senior menu. read more

My two year old grandson and I went for lunch. The initial service was good, and he liked his chicken fingers and fries. It was disappointing that when his apple juice was finished quickly, another was not offered. My French onion soup was acceptable. It took 30 minutes to receive his ice cream that came with the kids meal, about 20 minutes after we paid the bill. read more

First time here, we were seated immediately in a booth that unfortunately had broken and torn seat. Opted for sandwiches from the extensive menu, like most diners offer. I had the turkey club & my friend had the turkey "rachel" which came with coleslaw and dressing, fries on the side. Tasty enough, the service was good & we were seated immediately upon arriving. The desserts looked so sweet next time I would save room for one of those cakes/pies. It could have been cleaner...the floor looked like it needed some help. I would go back, not perfect but it is a diner. Some outdoor seating as well. read more

It's been long over a year since last dining here, and I was hoping for a consistent level of quality. This I received! The server was nice, and the stuffed flounder/shrimp scampi combo was amazing. I dipped my dining companion's fries in the small amount of leftover sauce. Yum! The Black Out cake had some yummy mousse in the middle, but the cake itself was really dry. Chocolate sauce and whipped cream helped. Overall, satisfied and glad I came back. read more

Best pancakes ever!! Been there twice and there's just something different/special about them. The server was super attentive and the buttery maple scent as you walk in the door is fantastic. This diner is my absolute favorite place to go to in the area. Me and my son go for breakfast every other weekend when I have him. Breakfast buffet is great and they have the best breakfast food around. Great burgers and wings. The fish and chips platter is always my go-to dinner platter, delicious. This is also only the second place I've found that can make really, really good liver and onions. If you're a fan of liver, order it when you go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed read more

I went there this morning with my son the sausage gravy is usually good but this time it was just gravy with no sausage in it and a sausage link on top which looked like a turd doesn't take much time to cut up sausage and the gravy was sour my son said he got sick won't order that again read more

Came across this restaurant with my family when we were going on a road trip a while back. For some reason I never forgot about this place. Next time I get the chance I will definitely try and stop by again. Happy Days is "definitely awesome"; I am an unabashed regular. It's a great place to hang out at any hour of the day, be it for a quick meal, a milkshake, some dessert, fresh coffee, etc. As it is a diner, I wouldn't encourage you to buy a serious meal, such as the Lobster Tail or Strip Steak that are so prominently displayed on the front pages of the menu. My friends and I can be found hanging there until the wee hours of the early morning (it's open 24 hours), along with other local people of all ages, as it is a friendly and safe environment. And as far as smoking/non-smoking is concerned, Pennsylvania no longer allows smoking within restaurants, so Happy Days is smoke free! The servers are friendly, the food's good, the coffee's always fresh, the TV's are big, and it's always open; what else could you ask for in a diner? Enjoy! Things I get: -Coffee -Hot chocolate (w/ whipped cream!) -Two eggs over-easy w/ home fries and wheat toast; only 3.75 and delish! -Meatlovers omelette -Grilled ham and cheese -French onion soup -Croissant delight w/ two over-easy eggs -Loaded cheese fries -Wings -Most of the cakes and milkshakes read more

Friendly service. Decent prices from a huge menu selection of all American food. Worst thing was it took me a while to remove the paper wrap from the napkin and flatware. Must have glued it closed! Worth the stop if you are in the neighborhood. I would note that there are not many good restaurant in this neck of the woods. read more

We've been regular clientele at Happy Days for about 10 years. I only recently figured out what made them different than other local diners. Mind you, we are regulars at many of them (some rhyme with Stimpy and Fleas) are great (we love them) but not family. Happy Days' staff is like Sunday at your mum's place after a tough week. They know what you like but always wait for you to ask. They listen to you even if the subject is unrelated to your food selection. I don't mean any one person. I mean all of them. The meals are always good, Maybe not five star but a strong star count (great chef in the kitchen). After COVID I started observing just how many regulars there are here. Many more than I thought to the point we weren't unique! (Felt like it all along). A special shoutout to Angie, Teresa, Kayla, Rachel, Kim, V, Beth, Tracy, Robbie, Anna, Sam Morgan and Mike one of the fantastic managers/owners. Thank you all for a wonderful meal filled with all of the other patron characters (I'm talking about you Walter, Ed and others). It is the modern day version of the old diners from the 50s and 60s. Say hi when you eat there. Oh, and the food is great. Check out their cheesecake and salad bar. Enjoy! read more

Been going to his place for years as it is close to the senior living facility where my mother has lived for many years. Not always for the food, more for the convenience and variety. The food is your basic diner fare, huge menu, for me just decent breakfast fare. My last two visits I was greeted with Fox News blaring on their large screen TVs. The first time I politely asked for the channel to be changed, and it was. Not the case the second time. In the divided country we are today, shoving that propaganda filled "news" in the faces of your customers is offensive to some, like me. The "manager" laughed at me (not sure this young kid was actually a manager). I asked for the Phillies game in progress, but no, W.ill never be back. I refuse to patronize a business who can't see their choices are offensive to half their customers. read more

Stopped by Sunday 4:30pm, Cynthia was our server, she was awesome! My wife and I were admiring how clean the diner was. The chrome on the ceiling, the mirrors, and floors were spic and span clean. Rails were without fingerprints. Ordered wings, very large ones with excellent taste of the sauce. Turkey club was very nice, she brought 1/2 home. The godfather burger was all that, "monster" 2/3 lb with all the fixings. And they even had Guldens Spicy Brown mustard, not that frail yellow stuff. All in all, would definitely recommend, and we will both be back. read more

We absolutely love this place. There are a lot of other eatery's in the area, but this one is the most welcoming! The Staff and Management are wonderful and friendly. Even when it is crowded, you can always be seated quickly and you can hear each other talk while you are seated. The prices are great and the food is delicious and the portions are very ample. The menu is amazing and offers everything you could want. They have ample parking and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The service is fast and you and your guests are always well taken care of. They've just updated their Menu to expand their Gluten Free Section of offerings. Also, they now have, for all Chocolate Lovers, Chocolate Waffles, with chocolate chips, etc.! Also, you need to check out their Dessert Case for the most decadent cakes and pies. They also have "huge" Cinnamon Buns and other pastries in a separate case. They offer a great Soup and Salad Bar and have wonderful Brunches, especially on Sunday Mornings! Stop in, you will always be welcomed! read more

Always eat well here! Great service! Great food! Hot and ready to go! Also very clean which helps with the COVID.

Great diner in the heart of Thorndale! The husband, child and I arrived for a Sunday night dinner. We were seated immediately and ordered the Roast Tom Turkey dinner (husband), Texas Burger (tween) and Chicken Croquettes. First, let me say this...nearly everything is homemade. The husband and I were able to have a salad with our dinner and I had some luscious and creamy crab chowder...not Krab, REAL crab....big pieces! The stuffing with the turkey was flavorful, the croquettes were homemade and the tween said the burger was "awesome". The burger was huge and juicy. The tween ordered a slice of Oreo cake to go (it looks phenomenal). All in all, a great experience, and with enough leftover food for another meal, a real bargain at under $50 for three...I honestly don't know why more people eat here! read more
