Plus, no one had any idea what to do or how much to charge for items. Got the bbq sampler and craft beer mac n cheese. The mac and cheese had absolutely zero flavor, was cold, and had a congealed texture. Needless to say we weren't thrilled. The bbq sampler consisted of: Pulled pork - the best of the bunch, but that's not saying much. It had some flavor and wasn't too fatty. Wouldn't get it again though. Brisket - cool despite being warmed on a portable griddle. The worst part was the fat - more than half of the 'meat' was just fat. Sausage - the most flavorful but extremely greasy. While I don't want a dried out sausage I don't want a casing full of grease. Slaw - vinegar vinegar vinegar! If you're one to drink vinegar you might like this. It was crisp and fresh, so it's a shame we couldn't get past the overwhelming vinegar! We won't be back nor will we visit the restaurant.

Welp better late than never. I came across this chill, cozy, comfortable restaurant that offers way more than a chat and chew environment (which unfortunately the Exton area has more than enough off so this spot is not only welcome. It is needed!) And just so we're clear the K -BBQ as it reads on the physical sign is the same restaurant as O2 K-BBQ found in a quick Google search. The physical sign and the name that appears on the web don't match. I confirmed this with our hostess. It was previously a Red Robbins and now makes for a nice date night for its energetic vibe that offers a friendly yet playful atmosphere. Yes there are grills at each table for you cook the most delectable meats. I'm talking brisket, steak, ribs, pork belly, and if it's your thing intestine, and abomasum. I recommend trying the Spicy Tofu soup as one of your sides which deserves a chef's kiss for its robust flavor and perfectly cooked tofu Another excellent side was the Gyoza which was a mouth sensation with or without the sauce. Add to this attentive staff who ensure your grill top is switched out with a clean one so your food is cooked to satisfaction and you have a different Exton restaurant experience. Plus this spot is open until midnight Monday through Sunday....in Exton, Pa. Check it out especially if you live close to Exton looking for an evening out that last beyond 9pm.

Kind of an Asian fusion menu, with curries and bowls available as vegetarian or with meats, as well as burgers and sandwiches. Fries are real, flavorful and a highlight. Finally the tap selection is tremendous with a mix of local and quality craft selections. Don't be surprised to see some hard to find selections on the chalkboard.

We made the trek up from Wilmington after seeing that the Bottle Room's tap list included a unique beer from a Knoxville brewery that we'd loved at a beer fest but had never found in our area since (Xul's PBJ Mixtape sour beer, a delicious and mind-blowing sour that somehow genuinely tastes like peanut butter, grape jelly, and white bread!). Props to Bottle Room for sourcing from both local microbreweries, but also from other delicious breweries around the country! Since our goal was beer, we hadn't put much thought into the food, so we were very nicely surprised that every bite was delicious, and we're already scheming which of our PA friends might want to meet us there in the future. We started with their tuna tostada special --- won ton chips with tuna poke, edamame, avocado, and some sort of wasabi dressing. This was challenging to eat, but absolutely worth the mess. Husband ordered their smash burger with truffle fries, which was a very solid and flavorful burger, and the truffle fries had excellent texture and flavor. I opted for their Ratatouille special, which offered the usual vegetable medley served over zucchini bread (a unique touch!) with burrata. The zucchini bread was a little bit sweet and a little soft, but the overall flavors came together nicely. We were happy to learn they offer crowlers as well, so you can take your favorite beers to go!
