After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. For food, we shared the fig and Brie toast and the Standard Sandwich, which came with cheesy eggs -- and you really can't go wrong with cheesy eggs for breakfast. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Gryphon Cafe. The food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was welcoming, and there was plenty of space to sit.
