The restaurant is beautiful with a very relaxing lodge feel to it. Love all the wood and they had nice Christmas decorations throughout. Our server Maddie was wonderful and had a very upbeat and pleasant attitude. She checked up on us and kept our drinks refilled. The food was the real star of the show. They had wonderful specials that night that were smoked in house. From a smoked cream cheese dip, to smoked chicken tacos, and finally the bbq platter. Me and my Dad ordered Chef Mack's bbq platter to share. It was fantastic. It consisted of smoked mac n cheese with smoke paprika compount butter, baked beans w/ lardons (packed full of meat), ribs that were fall off the bone tender, bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers stuffed with cheese, and finally the burnt end cheddar jalepeno sausage. Chef came to check on us 5 minutes after getting the platter and we had nearly eaten the entire plate! Lol. My Dad had the Greenside burger w/ cheddar and tater tots. I had the Eagle burger w/ truffle fries. Both burgers were massive, flavorful, juicy, fresh veggies, and a great bun & sauces. Tater tots were crisp and tasty. Truffle fries were real winner, crispy and delicious w/ dill aioli for dipping. We finished off the meal with the warm apple blossom, tasty. Coffee and beer were nice Dad reported. We will gladly be coming back soon!

Server wasn't very knowledgeable, professional or personable . Out of pear martinis sadly. Food came it all at once--salad and entree together for our entire table. We decided to dine outside instead, which turned out to be the perfect choice. Watching the planes take off and land made for a unique and relaxing dining experience. The presentation of every dish was beautiful, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The prime roast dip was incredibly flavorful and one of my favorite items. I upgraded my fries and enjoyed them with cheese sauce and barbecue sauce on the side, which was the perfect combination. The beef was exceptionally fresh, and the salmon was some of the freshest I've had in a long time. The portions were generous, the food was prepared with care, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for great food, excellent service, and a one of a kind atmosphere, The Hungry Pilot is definitely worth a visit.

Definitely some tasty chips. We both decided the sandwiches were just okay. For the price, there wasn't much meat or cheese on it, and it was a bit bland. Definitely needs to be served with some creamy horseradish sauce or a garlic aioli or something. The other two in our group got the Chicken Taco salads and they really liked them. The service was fine and the restaurant itself was nice - it's in a quaint old building and has some rooms upstairs. Looks like it would be a good place to have some drinks but judging from my sandwich and other people's reviews, they need to step it up a bit on the food.

Ironically Harry's only has one hotdog on the menu. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a separate bar with an entirely separate entrance. Dining early afternoon on a Sunday we had our choice of breakfast or lunch. Our server was friendly and was patient while we scoured the menu deliberating our meal. A long list of "burgers" which all can be made with beef burger, fried or grilled chicken or turkey burger. I chose the fried chicken LA Avocado and he the Cowboy burger. The chicken was frozen pre breaded style and my sandwich although large was lackluster in flavor. The burger nothing special. Both came with fries that were probably the highlight of the meal - and they were nothing special themselves. A boring review for what I consider a boring meal - reminder not to judge a book by its cover nor a restaurant by its facade.

Wasn't overly crowded and several tables were available. A table which was just vacated was quickly wiped off and the owner sat me at that table. The table was wet and was dirty. There were paper droppings all over the floor around the table (see picture). I went back to the cash register and asked the owner to reseat me and I showed him the dirty table. He reseated me and went right back to the cash register. Then he immediately sat a couple at that same table without cleaning it. At my new table, I picked up the menu and there was a food chunk stuck to it (see picture). Gross. Also 3-5 flies hovering around throughout my meal. I had been to Kelly's many times but never saw this kind of filth and carelessness. I was ready to walk out when my server came and I decided to stay. Service and food were good as usual for Kelly's. I think what happens when a place becomes successful, apathy sets in. Kellys is such a local staple that I guess the owner doesn't need to care enough about cleanliness any more. If the dining room was this bad I can't imagine the kitchen area or the rest rooms. Again, food and service were good but I don't think I will be going back there for a while. I'd like to see a few Chester County inspections first. Too bad because I like Kelly's. Two-Star for Kelly's onlt on the strength of their food and service.
