I had been here many moons ago, but was near by at ayelp event, and was lured in by the smell of BBQ. The smell is basically and aphrodisiac for the palate. I had already eaten but still had space to fill so went the al la carte route. I loved the 2 baby back ribs, so tender! The Saint Louis rib was a bit tougher, so I think I would stick with the baby back in the future. I was not a fan of the pulled chicken, it didn't have that smokey flavor I like from BBQ chicken, however my boyfriend loved it when I brought it home to him. I also got some sides the deviled eggs potato salad didn't really taste like deviled eggs to me. It wasn't bad, but was not what I envisioned. The Ceasars salad slaw was packed with flavor and had yummy croutons throughout. Bell's is consistently good, and one of my go-to restaurants when I want something smoked, but don't feel like making it myself. Their pulled pork and 1/2 chicken along with collard greens, cornbread, pepper jack mac and cheese, and crispy Brussels are our go to meals, and they never disappoint. The only thing we've ever had issue with is the pulled chicken. It is frequently dry, and relatively bland. Oh... and they had boiled peanuts last year but decided not to have them this year. Last weekend was Yelp's Big Night In. I honestly had forgotten about it until my husband already had ribs going!! Wanting to participate, however, I searched Doordash for BBQ places and found Bell's. They had catfish on the menu, and I was sold!! We ordered: the catfish meal, which came with 2 sides. We opted for the buffalo cauliflower bites and garlic smashed potatoes. We also ordered a pint of the 3 cheese mac n cheese. The great: the food itself was well seasoned, and extremely flavorful. The mac n cheese was to die for, and I'm a mac n cheese SNOB. I'd come here just for that. The catfish was delightful. The potatoes were excellent, and the cauliflower was SO spicy and amazing! The honest: I had anticipated getting a bit more fish than we received, but realistically, we really didn't need more food. So definitely not an issue, but worth mentioning. Great bbq place in Henderson. I got the brisket, pulled pork, beef hot link and pork belly. All fantastic flavors and not too fatty but not too dry. Sides are very good as well. One thing that I really like here is the fact that you can get small portions of meat so that you can try a bunch instead of ordering half a pound per meat. Last but not least, I tried all of their sauces and all were good! Personal favorite is the spicy one which is actually packing some heat but not too much. Great service too read more

Great portion sizes, too, so you're definitely full when you're finished eating...if you finish your entire meal! - This is one of the few places that serves Beef Ribs (while supplies last), so they already got a plus in my book! - The Chicken N' Waffles are a great value for the money! The absolute worst BBQ I've had in Vegas. Salt is supposed to accent to taste of food, not be the taste of the food. The brisket was oversalted, but barely edible. The fries were so salty I was actually getting ill from it. And all the salt on the other items coated my pallet so much that it made my beans salty. So easy to call in and start the order, then it's ready when I pick up. They have a great rewards program tied to my cell phone and I've already received a reward, which was $ off my order. The brisket is my favorite, however the pulled pork and fried catfish are also good. I was not looking for Bell's BBQ. I was in the area looking for a church I may start going to. Bell's just happens to be in the same center. And it had been a while I had BBQ last. The pieces just fell right into place. It was early in the day so there was not much of a line. One party already dining in and one customer in front of me ordering to go. That gave me a minute to look at the menu and settle on a chopped brisket sandwich with red beans and rice as my side. My lunch was up in less than 10 minutes. I was surprised to see it come to me with my sandwich standing on end. It was not a standard 2 slices of bread. Rather, it was like 2 slices that were not fully separated from one another. Think of it like super sized Texas toast butterflied and stuffed with brisket then topped with fried onions. I had never seen that presentation before. The flavor was fine. Not as smoky as I expected from the smoke ring I could see. The brisket was not as tender as I had expected. Some pieces were a little on the rubbery side. I pulled those pieces out and dunked in the sauce after the sandwich was done. The red beans and rice were fine but, again, not what I expected. Maybe because I am used to the fast food stylings of Popeye's. Bell's version has a very different flavor profile. I added some BBQ sauce to change it up a bit. What I really liked on the metal tray my meal was served in was the pickles. I am a sucker for homemade pickles. These were thick slices that retained their crisp texture and the flavor of the cucumber while at the same time picked up a good bit of brine. Near perfection. Service was good here today. Friendly and fast. The food was fine. Not my favorite BBQ but not a bad meal. It may be worth another visit to try some pulled pork or a hot link. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 today. read more

However, good barbecue in Las Vegas can be hard to find. In more than a few cases, I was extremely disappointed by the offerings of several barbecue restaurants in town, either serving dry, tasteless meat and sides, or by presenting food that was not at all worth the price. Bell's BBQ is most definitely NEITHER of those places. Located on Eastern Avenue a stone's throw away from Anthem, I drove by this place many times when I was going to Anthem for work, but it wasn't until during the pandemic that I decided, with my mother's encouragement, to try the place out and see if it was any good. As a result, this is a review that's been a long time coming! All of my experience with Bell's thus far has been with their take-out services, but SWEET. BABY. JESUS. Everything here is worth it. When it comes to BBQ, I always judge a place by their brisket and their ribs, so simple and yet so easy to mess up if you don't know what you're doing with it. Their brisket is so tender and so juicy, it's as if the meat is literally melting in my mouth. And with their ribs, you can tell they put a lot of care into them; they're incredibly tender, and they come clean off the bone but still hold their shape. It's an incredibly satisfying rib experience and one of the best I've ever had. But that's not to say that's all there is to Bell's; no, there's more. They offer all kinds of different meats and side dishes that I enjoy -- as a Filipino, I love their pork belly and how it's crisp on the outside, but still flavorful and tender inside. Their fried shrimp and hotlink sausages are also outstanding, and highly recommended. For side dishes, I ALWAYS have to get their brussels sprouts; they're light, but they have such an awesome smoky, deep flavor to them that they're addicting. How do they do it? Their macaroni and cheese and their fried onions are also on point, too -- I admit that when I have leftovers, I usually make a sandwich using their brisket, some cheese, and said fried onions. Best fridge raid idea I've had in a long time. And don't forget dessert, too! Their sweet jars are a perfect finish to any meal; just the right size, and you can even reuse the containers afterwards for storage! My personal favorites include the cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake. Needless to say, Bell's BBQ has soared to the top of my list for great BBQ, and it even has the honor of dethroning my previous top pick of Big B's Texas BBQ, another local favorite in the same area. ( Sorry, Big B's! Nothing against you, I promise! Both places are seriously really good, though, so you'll always win regardless of where you go for BBQ! ) If you're ever in this part of town, do yourself a favor and stop in to Bell's. First off, great customer service! I order over the phone and wanted Beef Ribs, I was unsure about the sides and whoever helped me on the phone gave me thorough explanations and seemed eager to give me their favorites!! I decided on 6 beef ribs with two sides, 3 Mac n Cheese and "Hot Tots" for $31 and some change. I was notified it would be ready in 10mins and since I live 7mins away I left immediately. -1 star because the ribs were not hot, neither were the sides or bread. Thankfully I was going home and tossed it in the oven and my air fryer. The ribs were fairly meaty, but very over seasoned/salty. However it was still very good! Paired with the Mac n Cheese which tasted more plain they suited each other. I did not really enjoy the Hot Tots though, it's basically hash browns rolled into tater tot form with a bit of spice but I think they just got soggy from the ride home. Mac n Cheese were tasty but don't be surprised if you see half a Ritz cookie on top! Gave me a good laugh when I called to ask if that was intentional and it was! The bread after being in the air fryer was SO GOOD, I had a bite with every bite of the ribs. I will be back since I do enjoy BBQ, so far of the places I've tried in Vegas Bell's is my top choice over Texas BBQ. Seems its tough finding good BBQ in Vegas.. Went for the beef rib but it wasn't available that day. Brisket was dry and needed sauce. Mashed potatoes were fine. The "mac" n cheese is made with penne, which doesn't chew the same. Baked beans made with pork so didn't try it. Collard greens made with pork so didn't try it. The side of fries is a medley of straight-cut, criss-cut, curly, crinkle, and sweet potato. Still want to try the beef rib and pulled chicken. They have a beef hot link on the menu but I didn't see regular beef links.
