Absolutely loved the customer service that I received. The woman who took my order was just awesome. Also loved the typical barbecue joint theme decorations throughout the restaurant. And lastly I loved all of the food, truly :)
Picked up some smoked meats to go since my dad and I were missing a protein with our dinner. $40 for the haul wasn't bad! Taste and texture of the meats were on point. Solid neighborhood spot, surprised at how empty it was on a Saturday night but it was an hour before closing. Our only critique was that the house bbq and spicy bbq sauce were not a hit. I've never had a bbq sauce like that so we'll pass on that next time.
As the kids would say the place is mid. Not bad but not good either. Walking up a nice bbq smell wafted in the air and got me excited. Unfortunately the excitement was short lived. I got the brisket sandwich with mac n cheese and two baby back rib bones. Service was quick and easy. If you have to put shredded cheese on top of your mac you've already failed. It was gross and almost inedible. The ribs were dry and flavorless. The meat did not fall off the bone. The brisket was bland and dry. The the og bbq sauce and spicy sauce were both very good and saved the brisket. On a side note the strip mall has the ugliest buildings.
I've been meaning to try Bell's for quite awhile, this morning I was craving bbq so we decided to come here, the smells as you walk up are salavating. As soon as you walk in there is a counter where you place your order, the cashier was very welcoming and answered all of the questions I had to help me decide. I ended up getting a plate of Brisket which comes with Texas Toast, and your choice of two sides, I ordered their crispy Brussels sprouts- these are a premium side, so they were a .75 up charge, I also had their red beans and rice and since I really wanted cornbread I ordered a side of that too (totally unnecessary on my part since they serve the brisket over Texas Toast) They have a great variety of sides, which actually made my decision on what to order hard because I love sides. The brisket was tender smoky and delicious, and they had 4 different bbq sauces to top your meats off with. Overall I left here extremely full and satisfied. Glad I finally made my way in here, I plan on coming back soon to try all the different sides and meats.
This would have been a 4-star review, but my brisket was the fattest I can recall ever getting at a restaurant. The first time we ate at Bell's a couple of years ago, I also had fatty brisket. I told my wife I would never order it at Bell's again. However, while placing an order online, I saw where you could request lean brisket. Great, I'll give them another chance! I requested, "The leanest brisket you have, please." They even print that on your receipt. Lean, it was not, I ate just about half of the meat. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was quite good. Bell's sides are quite good. As we usually do, we got a side of Brussels sprouts, mac n' cheese, and the deviled egg potato salad. We tried the Buffalo Cauliflower, and I really loved it! Nice and crispy with a kick that is not overwhelming. We also like the braised greens and mashed yams. Also, their house BBQ sauce is quite good. The girl who checked out our carryout order was very friendly, even funny. As BBQ fanatics, we'd be back more often if the brisket wasn't so fatty.
It's one year later than our first review. Could they possibly perform as well as last year. YUP!!! We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from Bells. the only differnce is that this year we asked them to carve the turkey for us. The turkey was delivered exactly when we asked for it. And it was carved perfectly. Delish! they did it again. Great service . Excellent food. Reasonable prices.
Oh, the smell! We had to park in the next lot over because someone in that strip center was having a party; their guests had taken every single parking spot! From the second we exited our car, we could smell the fabulous smell of barbecue. We entered Bell's with great anticipation. We had eaten here once, several years ago. I thought I'd written a review but can't find it. I remember there was something strange about a big hunk of bread ... Today, clean slate. Hubby and I wanted to take food home with us. Nathifa was polite and pleasant but I had to ask her to repeat what she said, louder. So soft-spoken, I couldn't hear her initially. Hubby ordered 1/2 pound of pulled pork to go. We ordered 1/2 pound of brisket for me. I've just eaten much of the brisket and it was definitely the best part of my meal. I did add sauce to it. My one complaint with the brisket: I ordered shredded (not chopped). It was shredded but not well. There were a couple of pieces that were the size of my three center fingers! Hubby had the exact same complaint about his pulled pork. For sides, we chose the braised greens and BBQ beans. I was so looking forward to the greens which are shown on the menu board as "Collard Greens." They seriously needed some heat; a good dose of Tabasco would have helped by providing both heat and acid. Additionally, the bites of bacon were under-cooked. They should have been cooked fully so that they'd add a crunch factor. Hours later, I reheated the Collard Greens and leftover shredded brisket. I added Tabasco and lemon juice. The leftovers were much better than what I'd eaten earlier. The BBQ beans initially had a good flavor (sweet) but I found the combination of beans to be weird. There are three beans, one of which is the black bean. The black beans just didn't belong. Also, there are bits of something red; red bell pepper, maybe? It adds nothing good to the dish; it just adds to the weirdness of the beans. We ordered two slices of Texas Toast which were, of course, cold when we got home. Both slices looked good on one side but were somewhat burnt on the reverse side. This lunch was $43. This was a disappointing meal. The last two times we got food from Big B's Texas BBQ, the food was horrible. We were hoping to get a good meal from Bell's. We didn't. So the search for good barbecue continues.

I personally felt like I didn't even need to put bbq sauce on the ribs because the dry rub was that good. The people working at the restaurant were also very nice. The restaurant itself was decorated pretty simply too. I would definitely go back here.
The potential is there for Bell's to be great, but the lack of attention with their food is disappointing. Our most recent experience is such a let down, and a health hazard. My chicken strips were placed into the to go container while they were so hot that plastic melted onto my food. They were overly salty, but the quality of chicken was decent. Our hush puppies were undercooked and had a raw flour taste. They were gooey. The Mac and cheese lacks any real flavor at all. I shoved some fried onions on top to try to save it. It's creamy, at least, but everything just falls short. Why put two cracker pieces on top but no seasoning? No paprika, pepper, or garlic? The cornbread tastes like a rich cake. Southern cornbread has a hint of sweetness - it's not dessert. The brisket was overly salty and heavy. There sadly wasn't one thing we liked. The desserts looked so good on the counter, but I felt hesitant to try them and I'm glad I didn't. They're a whopping $6.99 for a tiny jar of cake or pudding. I was excited to try Bell's again, because the first time I gave benefit of the doubt that I hadn't tried enough of the menu, and I was mostly just excited to have a BBQ spot in town. I saw they had boiled peanuts so we tried again and completely wasted our money. Call us picky, but we really feel Bell's can do better quality wise for the price. The one upside is that the customer service is fairly good.
Mannnnn did I wanna like this place. I never thought it would be so hard to find good bbq here, anyway I had ordered the pulled chicken , Mac & cheese and greens and I was not happy or impressed! Meat was cold . Mac & cheese was freezing and the greens tasted like they came out of a can . My man had the yams and baked beans. You wouldn't expect good BBQ in the desert. And yet, Bell's BBQ is a pleasant surprise. I've eaten here several times and have gotten both BBQ and non-BBQ food. Any every dish has never disappointed! Great portion sizes, too, so you're definitely full when you're finished eating...if you finish your entire meal! - This is one of the few places that serves Beef Ribs (while supplies last), so they already got a plus in my book! - The Chicken N' Waffles are a great value for the money! (Note: They're chicken tenders sandwiched between a quartered waffle, not a whole piece of chicken sitting atop a waffle.) The Piggy Sauce isn't my favorite (BBQ sauce with chopped bacon mixed in), so I wish they'd offer syrup for it instead. - All of their sides I've had are good, though my favorites are their Mashed Yams (not too sweet) and their 3-Cheese Mac (as someone who doesn't necessarily "love" macaroni & cheese, this is very good to satisfy the craving). read more

Great bbq place in Henderson. I got the brisket, pulled pork, beef hot link and pork belly. All fantastic flavors and not too fatty but not too dry. Sides are very good as well. One thing that I really like here is the fact that you can get small portions of meat so that you can try a bunch instead of ordering half a pound per meat. Last but not least, I tried all of their sauces and all were good! Personal favorite is the spicy one which is actually packing some heat but not too much. Great service too read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while and I am glad I did not stay away based on some of the reviews on the ribs. Employees were friendly and they patiently answered my questions. This place was also clean and there was an employee actually dusting. Something so many places DO NOT DO!!! Everything I had was delicious! We ordered beef brisket , beef ribs, mac and cheese, mash potato, bbq beans. Your meal comes with a piece of toast as well , it was seasoned and very good. The beef ribs were meaty and meat just came right off the bone and yes they had meat on them! The brisket was just as good. Everything was well seasoned , the sides were all very tasty. The BBQ sauces were good and now let me not forget the corn bread was so so good !!! I will definitely come back! read more

So easy to call in and start the order, then it's ready when I pick up. They have a great rewards program tied to my cell phone and I've already received a reward, which was $ off my order. The brisket is my favorite, however the pulled pork and fried catfish are also good. I really love the sides and there are so many yummy options like mac and cheese, corn, deviled egg potato salad, mashed potatoes, crispy brussel sprouts, and a side salad. This place was definitely one of my go-to's during the shut down and it remains one of my favorites now when I'm looking for a great meal! read more

Holy Smokes !!!! I wanted some beef ribs so bad . You know what I did ? Jumped on YELP to find a good bbq restaurant that offer BEEF RIBS!!! Yassss! I am on vacation in Vegas and this is perfect ! First off I called and the customer service was impeccable even in person. I ended up ordering the 6 beef ribs with 3 Cheese Mac, Deviled Egg potato salad and bake beans. I also added the Caramelized Banana budding. The food is delicious! I am in HEAVEN! Truly hate we don't have one in Atlanta Ga! read more

Unreal. This place is fantastic and I love that there are options outside of BBQ. I had the Nashville Chicken and there was a ton with great flavor. I got two sides so I had red beans/rice and potato salad. Red beans may be some of the best I've ever had. I got a hot link on the side and it took me back to my Texas days. I'm a simple man and a self-professed carnivore by nature: it comes as no surprise, then, that barbecue is among the many types of restaurants I love to try out. However, good barbecue in Las Vegas can be hard to find. In more than a few cases, I was extremely disappointed by the offerings of several barbecue restaurants in town, either serving dry, tasteless meat and sides, or by presenting food that was not at all worth the price. Bell's BBQ is most definitely NEITHER of those places. Located on Eastern Avenue a stone's throw away from Anthem, I drove by this place many times when I was going to Anthem for work, but it wasn't until during the pandemic that I decided, with my mother's encouragement, to try the place out and see if it was any good. As a result, this is a review that's been a long time coming! All of my experience with Bell's thus far has been with their take-out services, but SWEET. BABY. JESUS. Everything here is worth it. When it comes to BBQ, I always judge a place by their brisket and their ribs, so simple and yet so easy to mess up if you don't know what you're doing with it. Their brisket is so tender and so juicy, it's as if the meat is literally melting in my mouth. And with their ribs, you can tell they put a lot of care into them; they're incredibly tender, and they come clean off the bone but still hold their shape. It's an incredibly satisfying rib experience and one of the best I've ever had. But that's not to say that's all there is to Bell's; no, there's more. They offer all kinds of different meats and side dishes that I enjoy -- as a Filipino, I love their pork belly and how it's crisp on the outside, but still flavorful and tender inside. Their fried shrimp and hotlink sausages are also outstanding, and highly recommended. For side dishes, I ALWAYS have to get their brussels sprouts; they're light, but they have such an awesome smoky, deep flavor to them that they're addicting. How do they do it? Their macaroni and cheese and their fried onions are also on point, too -- I admit that when I have leftovers, I usually make a sandwich using their brisket, some cheese, and said fried onions. Best fridge raid idea I've had in a long time. And don't forget dessert, too! Their sweet jars are a perfect finish to any meal; just the right size, and you can even reuse the containers afterwards for storage! My personal favorites include the cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake. Needless to say, Bell's BBQ has soared to the top of my list for great BBQ, and it even has the honor of dethroning my previous top pick of Big B's Texas BBQ, another local favorite in the same area. ( Sorry, Big B's! Nothing against you, I promise! Both places are seriously really good, though, so you'll always win regardless of where you go for BBQ! ) If you're ever in this part of town, do yourself a favor and stop in to Bell's. You won't regret it. read more

So glad I found this spot by my office! Came here for lunch with a friend and we both got brisket plates. I had mine with Caesar slaw & Brussels sprouts. The brisket was extremely moist and had an awesome taste too! It went really well with their mustard sauce. My friend had Mac and cheese & deviled potato salad as his sides. He said the Mac & cheese was great! I'll definitely come back here for some future lunches. They brew their iced tea which I can appreciate! Also want to try some of their dessert next time. First off, great customer service! I order over the phone and wanted Beef Ribs, I was unsure about the sides and whoever helped me on the phone gave me thorough explanations and seemed eager to give me their favorites!! I decided on 6 beef ribs with two sides, 3 Mac n Cheese and "Hot Tots" for $31 and some change. I was notified it would be ready in 10mins and since I live 7mins away I left immediately. -1 star because the ribs were not hot, neither were the sides or bread. Thankfully I was going home and tossed it in the oven and my air fryer. The ribs were fairly meaty, but very over seasoned/salty. However it was still very good! Paired with the Mac n Cheese which tasted more plain they suited each other. I did not really enjoy the Hot Tots though, it's basically hash browns rolled into tater tot form with a bit of spice but I think they just got soggy from the ride home. Mac n Cheese were tasty but don't be surprised if you see half a Ritz cookie on top! Gave me a good laugh when I called to ask if that was intentional and it was! The bread after being in the air fryer was SO GOOD, I had a bite with every bite of the ribs. I will be back since I do enjoy BBQ, so far of the places I've tried in Vegas Bell's is my top choice over Texas BBQ. Seems its tough finding good BBQ in Vegas.. Definitely next time I will be getting some dessert! I was suggested this over the phone but declined since I knew I'd be full, but the examples at the register made my mouth water! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place from my first visit. The service: As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. The cashier, the servers, the cooks, all so nice as we ordered and got served. Very friendly! I wish I had more cash to tip them after paying for our meal! The food: Very flavorful and there's an extensive side dishes menu. My favorites were the brisket entree and pork belly entree, with sides of collard green, Brussel Sprouts, and deviled egg potato salad. My cousin says the cheese crusted corn was amazing also-which it looked delicious! (We also got the Mac n cheese which was good! Next time I want okra fries!) I wouldn't say it's the BEST brisket I've had in terms of tenderness, but still worth th price and the flavors were spot on! Deserts were also just as delicious! The "sweet jars" were the perfect ending to an umami tasting meal. Not too large, but enough for two people to share very well , or one person to indulge fully. (My favs are the banana pudding & key lime...and s'mores if you like chocolate!) Drinks: They have a self serve fountain station as well as sweet tea. If you don't like those, they also have a selection of beer that you can chose from! Just show your ID! Pricing: We did the entree which was about $14-15. It includes two sides of your choice and the meat selected. (We did one brisket and then ordered another with pork belly). I believe the drink is separate and was about $2-$3? I'm unsure actually. The dessert sweet jars were around $6.50 or $7. It's a bit pricier of a full meal, but you definitely get a good amounts worth!! We took a lot home! Tip #1: BE SURE TO CHECK IN. We forgot to check in right when we got there and they have $5 off your order of $25 or more. Tip#2: try the sauces on the table! My favorite one was the spicy bbq and the mustard bbq! read more

After a week of quarantine cooking for myself, I decided to take Friday night off and grab some carryout barbecue. I opted for Bell's BBQ since it was open, it was close by, and I was craving smoked meat. I arrived a little before 6PM. I likely beat the rush. Bell's offered dine-in service, but its dining room didn't look that large to me, which made for relatively limited seating given social distancing and reduced seating mandates. There was one party seated in the dining room while I was there. Bell's looked to have its coronavirus prevention measures up in place with its staff all wearing masks, gloves where necessary, and having hand sanitizer at the entrance. I was met at the counter by friendly, mask-wearing staff. I ordered a full slab of the St. Louis Ribs, which came with two sides (I chose the Okra Fries and the BBQ Beans), Texas toast, and pickles. The ribs also came with a side of the House BBQ sauce. I also had an a la carte order of the Beef Hot Link. My order was assembled in short order and I was walking out the door roughly ten minutes after I arrived. Upon getting home, the first thing I tasted were the Okra Fries. I love fried okra. This was the first time that I've seen/had them presented like these were, sliced lengthwise, battered, and fried. They were perfectly fried without a hint of sogginess or excessively oily. Frankly, they were the highlight of the meal. I will be the first one to admit that I'm not an expert on BBQ. I do know that I prefer St. Louis ribs over baby back since they're a fattier cut and I think more flavorful. Bell's ribs were good, not great. I'm assuming they were rubbed with a dry rub before smoking. I'm usually pretty sensitive to picking up saltiness in a dish, but I thought the ribs were a touch under-seasoned. The smoke was clearly present and pleasant throughout the meat, which was reasonably tender and pulled away cleanly from the bone. However, I much preferred the ribs without use of the House BBQ sauce. I found the sauce much too sweet for my personal taste, which came across as almost metallic to my palate. Bell's does have other sauces available. Next time, I'll try something different. I don't know if Bell's makes their hot links in-house, but I found it to be really nicely done, possessing good spiciness and meatiness. The beans were pretty standard, but I surprisingly found the Texas toast to actually be a well-executed part of the meal experience unlike the usual toast found at all-too-many BBQ places where it seems to be included as more of an afterthought. It was a nice touch. Bell's BBQ was good. I've had better, but I've definitely had far, far worse. My experience from placing my order to being ready for pickup was excellent. The staff was on the top of it. Would I come back? Yes, if only for the Okra Fries. Food: 3.5 stars Service: 4.5 stars Coronavirus prevention measures: 4.5 read more
