Boss Daddy's has the best BBQ and ox tails. Only problem is you need to call ahead to make sure the ribs are ready and it is the day for ox tails. Ox tails are not usually ready until 1:30. Catfish is ok but a little lacking. Rice isn't very good. Sweet yams are delicious. Cabbage is good. They could keep that biscuit they give you. Cold store bought biscuit wrapped in foil. read more

Reopened and the atmosphere was fantastic! Great menu, we enjoyed the ribs and chicken wings. The sides of beans, Mac and cheese, fries and buttery corn were a great addition to the meal. The lady at the cashier register with the large 'Vegas tattoo on her neck was a doll. But despite her hospitality and graceful way of letting us know that they were out of cabbage w/ links and that collard greens weren't available, everything was well, mediocre. The Mac and cheese lacked starch making it greasy, the potato salad had too much onion in it along with egg and chopped up pickles. Idk what that was all about. The sweet yams were good if you like fall off the fork mush. (They were yummy in flavor). The wings were a bit on the salty side. And when I say mediocre I meant the ribs. Frankly the French fries were the only thing I liked. I feel bad writing this but I'm just being honest even the baked beens gave me 'can - baked beans. When I eat or try soul food restaurants I can't get past anything else if collard greens aren't available. What do you mean you only serve collard greens on Fridays and Saturday?!? The ambiance was nice they had multiple tvs displaying the DJ that was heard through the entire thee halls this place had. One of the rooms had a drum set and luxe couch maybe it gets poppin on or over the weekends. As far as weekday activities don't expect to find greens available. Also the 1 bathroom didn't have seat liners available nor a functioning paper towel dispenser. Me personally I will not be eating here again. Boss daddy's bbq was not for me. read more

I found this place close to the house. The wife wanted some ribs. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The ribs were tender and the sides were wonderful. But what did it for me was. I ordered our food to go. Being that they just opened for the day, I waited for the ribs to be cooked. As I was leaving, and being a Disabled Veteran with mobility issues, the young lady who took my order and gave me our food noticed the struggles I had carry out order and using my cane at the same time. Disappointed and underwhelmed under flavor. My food was cold and dry. After waiting over an hour. Are you serious here? Apparently, my food had been waiting like a plastic bag sweating so my french fries are are cold and soggy, and the taco burger was soggy as well. What a horrible experience. The peach cobbler was dry and underwhelming, and the mac & cheese was flavorless cold and cold I would not recommend to have your customers waiting after they've already paid for their food. Then I saw people that came in after me sitting down eating and people coming in and picking up their food to go Got waited on before me. I ordered my food at 4:06 and did not get it till after 5 PM. Boss Daddy's is the bomb! Best BBQ I've found in LV so far. My go-to is the rib plate with mac n cheese & BBQ beans. The beans are sooo hearty and flavorful-- a must order for sure!! This place is great. The owner is a nice guy and the women who took my order was friendly. The food was 10/10 the Mac and cheese was some of the best iv had, and the ribs. Words can't describe how perfect they are. The homemade BBQ sauce completed the meal. And the baked beans had what I assume to be ground beef in them. It was amazing. The vibe I got from inside the restaurant was cool. Love the music and they have a stage in the back of the room. It's cool. I highly recommend this place. read more

I had the ribs and fish combo plate with Mac n cheese and cabbage/onions. The fried catfish was amazing. No fishy smell and fried perfectly. The ribs were also good. The Mac n cheese I felt would have been much better if it was fresh, but the flavor and texture was great. The braised cabbage and onions were my favorite. Service was great. Nice and welcoming staff. If you are in the area it is worth a try. I'm definitely going to try the oxtail next time. read more

It's timer and the food was amazing. Fresh, seasoned and hot. We ate there and the music was chill and it was empty. The wait time was just because they cooked everything fresh. Now to the ratings...catfish and fries 8/10...shrimp and fries...7.5/10...beef tacos 8.5/10...hotlink and bun 9.5/10 (the only reason not a 10, I like my link split down the middle and cooked a little longer). Them steak fries were soooo seasoned and fresh. I will definitely be back because I have to try the taco burger, Mac and cheese, yams and that hot link again...lol...hopefully it's better so I can update this score to a 5 star. read more

I've been meaning to stop in to Boss Daddy's for a few months now, and finally had the opportunity the other day. I ordered the catfish sandwich, fully dressed, which includes lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Could be the largest and best catfish sandwich I've ever eaten. I also ordered the hotlink on bun sandwich, which was fabulous too. I upgraded both to combos, receiving a small side with each, and chose the beans and potato salad. Both were very good as well. Just came across this new food place on the east side of town. Met the owner while he was preparing the food before they officially opened. This place is so fresh. The ambience here is so chill. They have music, they have TVs, the vibe here is absolutely amazing. They have a good size menu, but of course I went for the chicken wings. The chicken wings were made fresh and brought out to me crispy. The bone pop right out of the wing so you know they cooked this with love. I ordered the lemon pepper and I also had them mix the lemon pepper and the hot together. This place is definitely a place to check out. read more
