In a warm Southern kitchen, Fried Chicken sat at the center--golden, comforting, and full of heart. Collard Greens simmered nearby, steady and soulful, while Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Okra brought a cheerful crunch and playful energy to the table. Dirty Rice added depth with its rich, seasoned warmth, and Fried Pork Chops stood strong and generous, wrapped in comfort. At first, they were just dishes, each with their own flavor and story. But as they came together, something changed. Fried Chicken found balance in Collard Greens' quiet strength, while Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Okra became joyful companions. Dirty Rice connected them all, and Fried Pork Chops grounded the table with steady warmth. Together, they realized they were better as one--each bringing just enough spice, soul, and comfort without overpowering the others. In that simple kitchen, they became more than a meal--they became a family, sharing love in every bite. Patience was rewarded from the long wait in the back of the eatery as the "Employees Only!" reads: Behind these doors is a bunch of noise but a lot of love coming out...

Today we're experiencing Southern Style Eatery in Las Vegas. I'm from the south, and I've been on the hunt for some good fried chicken and okra. This is a family owned restaurant that takes a lot of pride in their food. Everything is made to order, and the wait is well worth it. Everything was amazing! We got a large portion of fried chicken enough for two people to split, fried okra, mac & cheese, beans, and rice, and cornbread all for under 30 bucks! Shout out to PJ for the perfect recommendations!

Fried Green Tomatoes.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. The ambiance/energy of the restaurant has an old school Southern vibe. The Fish Po Boy I had was good but the Fried Green Tomatoes tasted hard and overcooked. This restaurant provided very poor service not to me exactly but I received my food before a few people who have been waiting longer than me. A couple of ladies who sat right next to me got up and walked to the back takeout area to complain and then I heard to employees in the kitchen yelling at each other which is very unprofessional. When people walk into the Dine In section of the restaurant, there isn't any employees to greet them and there's no sign stating Open Seating or Please Wait To Be Seated. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. I hope these internal issues they have gets resolved.

Fried Fish - comes with two sides (I added sweet potatoes as additional) that Mac and collards?!!!!

Came for after service Sunday lunch and the food was AMAZING- seasoning on point, Mac n cheese was a hit, collards and yams! Ugh you gotta try it. There is a wait for the food about 30mins BUT it is worth it, the portion size is enough for two meals and it's HOT when it comes out which is highly appreciated. I knew my food was fresh when it came out which made the wait worth it. Cute little spot downtown. However parking is limited. The service isn't really service service it's like order and eat in type of service but as they grow and add full service (water, table check-ins and etc) it's gonna really take off (also it was extremely busy like every table filled busy). Definitely coming back again to try the oxtails and lemon peppah wings!

My Opinion..My review..IJS....WoW!!!!! When I say it's my opinion, that's what I mean!! This was one of theee best soul food spots of the year.. The pork chop was just like my mom use to make. Seasoned to perfection, crispy and fresh!! I haven't had cool-aide since the 90's I thought I was back at home!! Greens good and seasoned, Mac & cheesy was amazing. A Las Vegas hidden gem. I will definitely be back and let my family & friends know to stop by when in Vegas..This is a sharing moment.. My review..My opinion..IJS

This was our 2nd visit while in Vegas for my birthday weekend!! Our first visit was Easter weekend for our Anniversary and the food was amazing!! The service was great because we came right before closing. The food was fresh and delicious. The music was perfect, the right music at the right volume. The 2nd visit, we took family(mom, aunt and older cousin) and they LOVED IT! The food was amazing, fresh, hot out the pot and every dish was tasty! Hats off to the chef! I love the way the food is already in a to-go tray so no need to pack up the leftovers. The portions are the perfect size. The music was perfect for a Sunday meal. The owners are lovely people. If you are looking for good food then stop by and get you a plate of home cooked food. The booths are so comfy too!

There is nothing like coming to a place and what's on the menu they don't have or it's served on another day but doesn't state on the menu. Coming from the Bay Area where when you go to an establishment what you order on the menu you get. So, without even tasting the food I won't be back. I really ordered things I actually didn't want but I thought it would be rude to walk out. Mind you it was only 5pm and they close at 9p. So I'm really disappointed. I want to patronize folks but whe your going to have a meal have what's on the menu. I can't see myself coming back when town. I ended up at Ella M's to get what i wanted. No more recommendations from TikTok @Fred H. Business Mgr. Its all good. but no where on the menu where it says your sides are only served on certain days nor some of your meats. Again, when having a business advertising items on a menu and you run out is not cool at Any establishment. Once I got back to the hotel i found the food I did get was very tasty. And as i mentioned i did not want to walk out it would have been rude. Best, a patron.

The definition of delicious southern style food. Everything was flavored to perfection. The location and parking make the trip quick and easy. The interior decor is calm, cool and stylish. The waiters were super helpful and always stopped by to make sure everything was on point. 4-stars because ribs/BBQ is only weekends

Seasoned to perfection.

I'd been thinking about this meal since my first pan roast in June…read more I arrived at the Palace Station Casino on Saturday. We got in the Oyster Bar Line at 11:34AM. Reading previous reviews, I saw some people stating that they waited two hours so I was mentally preparing. It seemed as though there were about 15 people in front of us in line so I was hoping it would go fast. We ended up getting seated at 12:59pm. So it was about an hour and a half for us. Victoria was our server and she was on top of it! Immediately when we sat down, she handed us two sourdough bread rolls, some butter, and the menus. She asked us what we wanted to drink and my partner ordered a draft beer, whereas I just had my water from my water bottle. She then asked us if we needed some time to look at the menu or if we were ready and after an hour and a half wait, we were well prepared with what we wanted to order. We ordered a dozen of the gulf oysters, and two pan roasts. One pan roast was the combo (level 2) and the other was the palace pan roast (level 3). When both pan roasts came out they were HOT, but that was not stopping us from shoving every bite of deliciousness into our mouths. Having had the palace pan roast in the past, and now trying the combo pan roast, I really did enjoy the combo better because I'm more of a seafood person. My partner had the palace pan roast for the first time and he instantly understood why I was raving about it for months. There's just something about the tomatoey, creamy, bisque like consistency mixed with some white rice that I just can't describe other than perfect. This is what you dream about on a cold fall day. I've personally always enjoyed the level 2 spice level, because I don't find it to be spicy or painful at all, but the man in front of us in line said he prefers 5. I like that you're able to customize it because everyone has a different spice tolerance and what everyone finds enjoyable is subjective per person. My partner and I ended up ordering an extra side of rice when it became apparent that the one side each would not be enough for us. He loves his rice, and I only take nibbles, so he usually eats mine. However, for this meal, I was not sharing my rice, so he had to order another side. Overall- highly recommend. The food is well worth the wait. After being in line for an hour and a half it's hard to be grumpy when the service is so efficient & friendly and the food taste this good.

I finally tried the Oyster Bar, and even on a Monday there was a line. I waited about 25 minutes…read more Like everyone says, there really isn't much seating. It's literally a bar, but it's a pretty cool setup. I ordered a Paloma and it was really, really good. Service was okay, especially considering how busy they were and the limited seating. One thing I appreciated was that even with people waiting, they didn't make us feel rushed to eat and get out. Now the food? Straight BOMB. I'm used to ordering seafood gumbo or a pan roast with lobster and having to search for the actual seafood. Not here! They give you big, beautiful pieces of seafood, and the portions are huge. We made the mistake of ordering our own instead of paying attention to the people around us because we definitely could've shared. And a warning about the oysters: they are HUMONGOUS. Seriously, keep that in mind when deciding how many to order. Between the generous portions, quality seafood, and that Paloma, I can definitely see why there's always a line. Four stars for me!

Usually there isn't even a line when I walk in, but somehow one magically forms right after I order (I don't know what that means, but I respect it). The workers are always so kind, and I really love how beautifully everything is presented it's almost too pretty to eat, almost. And if I'm feeling extra indulgent, I'll add their hand rolls too, because self control is clearly not part of the experience here. The only real regret I have is that there isn't a bigger portion, because one bowl is simply not enough to satisfy the situation I've created for myself.

The line was relatively short when I visited, and the food came out pretty quickly, which was definitely appreciated. Overall, the food was decent. Nothing that completely blew me away, but for the price point, I actually thought it was a pretty good value, especially considering the location. I was able to use a dining comp loaded onto my Fontainebleau Rewards card, and I felt like I got a lot more bang for my buck here than I would have at some of the property's other restaurants. At certain spots in the resort, that same comp might barely cover an appetizer! I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit Bar Ito, but I appreciate having a more affordable, convenient dining option inside a luxury resort like Fontainebleau. It's a nice change of pace from the higher-end restaurants throughout the property. Would I return? Absolutely, especially if I were staying at the resort, looking for something quick, or just wanted a casual meal without making a whole production out of dinner. Overall, a convenient spot with reasonable pricing, quick service, and solid value for the location.

I got lucky, though I wouldn't leave it to chance, especially with a larger party. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish, from the host to the busser to the server. I was seated outside, which made for great people-watching. I started with the calamari, then moved on to the wedge salad and the seafood platter. Calamari: Amazing. It was fried to a crisp, well-seasoned exterior while the inside stayed tender and chewy, never greasy. I loved the mix of tentacles and rings, and the cocktail sauce and aioli were spot-on. Wedge salad: The kitchen cut it up for me, so every forkful was a perfect bite. The vinaigrette complemented the blue cheese dressing nicely. Seafood platter: The star of the night. It came with four large chargrilled shrimp, a lobster tail, and sautéed scallops. Everything tasted fresh, and the chargrilling was fantastic. The scallops were properly cooked, but if you prefer a firmer texture, you'll want to tell your server. The portions are generous, too. I had enough for a full meal the next day. We originally had 19 people, but last minute somebody couldn't make it. They still charged us for 19 people, so we asked if we could get the meal to go since we paid for it and they were accommodating. The only thing was that the food was so salty. The steak was almost inedible because of how salty it was. The Caesar salad was incredibly salty too. The appetizers were great though - the calamari and shrimp de jonghe were highlights.
