It doesn't seem like they follow any sanitation policies and the place as a whole doesn't seem clean. The lady who I had was not gentle, didn't do any prep on the nails and rushed through. She left what feels like cement under my nails and it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. I asked her multiple times to correct a few things while I was there but it was a waste of time. This was truly one of the worst nail experiences I ever had. I was quoted $ 55 over the phone but she charged me $75. I went back the next day to have them fixed and Amy the owner redid them. I had a great experience here two weeks ago! After requesting an appointment through their website, they replied to my email immediately. Then when I got out of work early, they took me in early. Customer service was great, and regarding a previous review about social distancing, they don't have dividers between chairs, only dividers between you and your nail tech. However, they spaced everyone out so there was at least one station between each client. It seems this is an issue that has been resolved and patience, people, we're all navigating getting our nails done in a safe way day by day. As far as my actual nails go, I'm a little disappointed. I got a fresh set with gel polish, and it was around $55 (I think, I don't have the receipt in front of me!) I requested an almond shape and as you can see, they're a little off. The gel is also uneven. But also, I'm the only one who notices!! Overall, clean environment, quick responses, and a great selection of colors. I would return, just not for anything fancy. read more

I came here for a pedicure with my boyfriend on short notice and they were able to accommodate us so quickly. The prices are extremely reasonable with different levels depending on what you want. Have been going here for a while and unfortunately whenever I do a follow up appointment for a polish change a week or so after a full manicure it's rushed and messy (even when all-in I'm still spending $20). i was told to go sit under the fan even though I told them my nails were smudged and that I did not receive a top coat. The service was ok. & im going to say is Jesus let's not do a job you do not know how to do it! I risked being 30 minutes late to work because I am not going to rush you on the shaping the polish ok but never the shaping because of this reason! Right off Hanover Street in the North End. Amazing dip powder nails with a comparable price to other places in the immediate area. "Lina" is a great dip powder nail technician. I called ahead 50 mins before they closed for the day and asked if they had time for a dip powder. They said "yes". Despite staying an extra 30 mins after close to perform my mani, Lina did not cut any corners and gave me her full attention and service. Thank you so much, Lina! I got a really bad toe infection after getting a pedicure here. I know other people who have gotten terrible hand and foot infections from here recently and needed to go on oral antibiotics. I purposely came to this salon because of its higher rating on yelp and google. I got a dip powder manicure and it's honestly terrible. The woman who did my nails didn't prep or clean them at all, didn't trim my cuticles. When she started to file she asked if I wanted square, I said I wanted almond and she did neither shape. She barely gave me a massage at the end, and by massage I mean she patted lotion on the back of my hands for about 10 seconds each. I'm a loyal customer and have become increasingly disappointed with the service provided. As a customer paying for a regular manicure, you should be able to sit in a seat, not the pedicure chairs. This has happened to me the past three times now. I've been rushed to choose a color, and when given the rushed manicure in the pedicure seats, was not given the option to wash my hands. As a result, the leftover dusty residue from shaping and filing my nails is painted over with polish, leaving a textured, bumpy look on my nails. If you're going to increase your prices, consider increasing the quality of service for your customers, even if they're purchasing a regular manicure and not a pricey gel or dip manicure. read more

This was my first time here. I went in thinking I would get a maintenance gel color because I'm really busy right now. My technician convinced me to add tips (without telling me each tip is an extra charge, not a flat fee). Then told me if I'm doing tips I have to do dip instead of gel (without mentioning dip is much more expensive). My nails look fine and I'm happy with the amount of time it took but I was charged $83 without knowing the extra costs. I get my nails done at other places all the time and the most I've paid is $65. I may be naive for not asking about the cost of tips, but I also wasn't expecting dip to be almost $20 more than gel on top of that. read more

I think I found my favorite nail salon in Boston. I needed to get my nails done but I didn't know where, so my friend recommended this to me. I came in on a Thursday afternoon and it seemed busy, but they still sat me down right away even though I was a walk-in customer. I decided to do gel because I didn't want my manicure to go to waste within a week. They have such a huge selection of colors, probably every color you could think of in the color scheme. I decided to go with a taupe nail polish. My technician, Vivi, was so careful, yet time efficient with everything that she did. She took away all of my cuticles, painted my nails carefully, put a hot towel, and massaged my hand and arms, which all seemed under an hour! Also, if you pay with cash, you get a discount!
