worst pedicure I've ever had. They don't spend any time working on your feet. They barely filed my toes, the nail polish has already chipped off after sitting under the dryer for 30 minutes. read more

How disappointing Just wanted a manicure to pass the time The woman could not be less friendly to a customer Just spoke Vietnamese to her friend the entire time Did a half-assed job and then tried to short me Then when asked for change of a 10 she gave me 2 fives and expected a 25% tip Stay away from this "clip joint." read more

The workers are always very friendly at Bellissimo. I have been getting my nails done for a while and have always loved how they turn out! I rarely have to wait and always honor appointments. Couldn't recommend them enough! read more

Yesterday, I went there. Lee gave me an excellent manicure. She was very gentle. Will return.

I've been going to Bellissimo for 9 years. Continuing to return even after I moved from the neighborhood. Everyone is great but I love Jane!

It doesn't seem like they follow any sanitation policies and the place as a whole doesn't seem clean. The lady who I had was not gentle, didn't do any prep on the nails and rushed through. She left what feels like cement under my nails and it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. I asked her multiple times to correct a few things while I was there but it was a waste of time. This was truly one of the worst nail experiences I ever had. I was quoted $ 55 over the phone but she charged me $75. I went back the next day to have them fixed and Amy the owner redid them. Overall not a good experience, I really would look elsewhere to get your nails done. read more

Bellissimo Nails & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

I had a great experience here two weeks ago! After requesting an appointment through their website, they replied to my email immediately. Then when I got out of work early, they took me in early. Customer service was great, and regarding a previous review about social distancing, they don't have dividers between chairs, only dividers between you and your nail tech. However, they spaced everyone out so there was at least one station between each client. It seems this is an issue that has been resolved and patience, people, we're all navigating getting our nails done in a safe way day by day. As far as my actual nails go, I'm a little disappointed. I got a fresh set with gel polish, and it was around $55 (I think, I don't have the receipt in front of me!) I requested an almond shape and as you can see, they're a little off. The gel is also uneven. But also, I'm the only one who notices!! Overall, clean environment, quick responses, and a great selection of colors. I would return, just not for anything fancy. read more

Bellissimo Nails & Spa - Fresh acrylic set with gel polish. I requested almond shape. Still beautifully rounded! - Nail Salons Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

I wish I could add 0 stars. Do not visit this nail salon. Extremely unprofessional. Simple dip manicure was very uneven - nail shape and consistency. Do not try to ask nicely for them to adjust shape of nail. Filed my nails down to painful nubs, bleeding and half square half round. Did not use a cuticle tool, she picked at my cuticles with her nails. Gross! Additionally employee working on my nails commented on my appearance saying I needed to clean up my face. read more

I came here for a pedicure with my boyfriend on short notice and they were able to accommodate us so quickly. The prices are extremely reasonable with different levels depending on what you want. We both got the relaxing pedicure which included an exfoliating scrub which smelt and felt great. They didn't rush the pedicure at all! read more

The service was ok. & im going to say is Jesus let's not do a job you do not know how to do it! I risked being 30 minutes late to work because I am not going to rush you on the shaping the polish ok but never the shaping because of this reason! I knew it was over when she cut the first tip and asked me if it's was ok as soon as she snipped it so it was obv too late to tell her no it was ok. At first it seemed ok but it turned out to be this mess. Then she has the nerve to tell me mines are longer than the pictures. Also she says the set was 45 for short set then 10 for gel polish. But instead they add another 10 because it's glitter. So why is it in the same like it's nothing special it's a gel polish so I paid 65 for this mess. Ok obv I had a lot more to say and still do. The place overall is clean so I will give them one star read more

Have been going here for a while and unfortunately whenever I do a follow up appointment for a polish change a week or so after a full manicure it's rushed and messy (even when all-in I'm still spending $20). i was told to go sit under the fan even though I told them my nails were smudged and that I did not receive a top coat. Then when i asked them to fix the nails they added a fourth coat on top with a completely different color. i had to take it off immediately. Disappointing. read more

The woman that did my nails didn't listen to a single thing I asked for and she was acting like she knew what I wanted more than I did. Ended up not giving me what wanted so I had to go to another salon and get them completely redone. read more

I've tried giving this place another shot and truly it is just the worst. I know there are a few good people but not enough. Not sanitary, so fast on the gel manicure, and seem annoyed every time you ask a question. will not come back read more

Right off Hanover Street in the North End. Amazing dip powder nails with a comparable price to other places in the immediate area. "Lina" is a great dip powder nail technician. I called ahead 50 mins before they closed for the day and asked if they had time for a dip powder. They said "yes". Despite staying an extra 30 mins after close to perform my mani, Lina did not cut any corners and gave me her full attention and service. Thank you so much, Lina! I cannot thank Lina enough for doing her absolute best and not cutting corners despite staying 30 mins past close. Furthermore, it is just 1 day after the mani and I have received so many compliments on my nails! One person even asked to touch them! Haha I have, without a doubt, found my go-to dip powder technician and nail salon. read more

I got a really bad toe infection after getting a pedicure here. I know other people who have gotten terrible hand and foot infections from here recently and needed to go on oral antibiotics. Something is not right about this place, not sure if it is the technicians or cleanliness or both. My infection was so bad I could not walk normally for a couple weeks. read more

I purposely came to this salon because of its higher rating on yelp and google. I got a dip powder manicure and it's honestly terrible. The woman who did my nails didn't prep or clean them at all, didn't trim my cuticles. When she started to file she asked if I wanted square, I said I wanted almond and she did neither shape. She barely gave me a massage at the end, and by massage I mean she patted lotion on the back of my hands for about 10 seconds each. My nails are covered in white idk crap around the edges and she got polish on my skin. Worst manicure ever. read more

I always wait at least two weeks before reviewing salons to make sure my nails are still in good shape.... My nails are nearly perfect (just grown out:)) and it's been nearly three weeks! With other salons, I start seeing cracks a week and a half in. I got dip powder and my technician was efficient and meticulous. Well priced! Only cash or Venmo tip. Will definitely be back! read more

First time was great. I went back again for gel manicure & it was totally different. I was cut numerous times to point of bleeding and had to say "ouch" for her to stop/notice. Bellissimo Nails & Spa - Gel Mani (2 weeks old) - Nail Salons Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Worst manicure i have ever received. The girl could not understand that I didn't want the sides of my nails filed and even after telling her not to multiple times she still went ahead and did it. Then she painted my nails so horribly and didn't even cover the whole nail? The pic is not after a week of grow out, it's immediately after my manicure was finished. I could have done a better job with a nail file and a bottle of nail polish at home for free. read more

I'm a loyal customer and have become increasingly disappointed with the service provided. As a customer paying for a regular manicure, you should be able to sit in a seat, not the pedicure chairs. This has happened to me the past three times now. I've been rushed to choose a color, and when given the rushed manicure in the pedicure seats, was not given the option to wash my hands. As a result, the leftover dusty residue from shaping and filing my nails is painted over with polish, leaving a textured, bumpy look on my nails. If you're going to increase your prices, consider increasing the quality of service for your customers, even if they're purchasing a regular manicure and not a pricey gel or dip manicure. read more

I think I found my favorite nail salon in Boston. I needed to get my nails done but I didn't know where, so my friend recommended this to me. I came in on a Thursday afternoon and it seemed busy, but they still sat me down right away even though I was a walk-in customer. I decided to do gel because I didn't want my manicure to go to waste within a week. They have such a huge selection of colors, probably every color you could think of in the color scheme. I decided to go with a taupe nail polish. My technician, Vivi, was so careful, yet time efficient with everything that she did. She took away all of my cuticles, painted my nails carefully, put a hot towel, and massaged my hand and arms, which all seemed under an hour! Also, if you pay with cash, you get a discount! Great service and great work, I can't wait to be back to get a new set of colors! read more

This was my first time here. I went in thinking I would get a maintenance gel color because I'm really busy right now. My technician convinced me to add tips (without telling me each tip is an extra charge, not a flat fee). Then told me if I'm doing tips I have to do dip instead of gel (without mentioning dip is much more expensive). My nails look fine and I'm happy with the amount of time it took but I was charged $83 without knowing the extra costs. I get my nails done at other places all the time and the most I've paid is $65. I may be naive for not asking about the cost of tips, but I also wasn't expecting dip to be almost $20 more than gel on top of that. read more

The fastest pedicure I've ever gotten, there was no one waiting - so I don't understand why she didn't take her time to get a good tip. The girl was really aggressive on my feet. I was hoping for a nice relaxing pedicure - very disappointed in this nail salon. read more

I felt as if I was cheating on the nail salon I normally go too. :P I was scheduled with Viviane and she is so sweet and was very attentive to my nail care needs and what I wanted done. She made sure the shape and nail color was what I was looking for. I have gone to many nail salons and its really hard to find not one, but two places you can go too, and count on the nail tech to not disappoint! Not only do I recommend coming to Bellissimo, schedule your appointment with Viviane. She is a sweetheart. read more

I really like the service here and they were very attentive. The place was also very clean and I didn't have to wait long. Overall I would have given this 5 stars but my gel manicure peeled off in a week and the manicure was not cheap ($35). I would suggest they invest in a base and learning how to paint the nails properly. read more

Went here for a pedicure and was so disappointed. She didn't put any lotion on my feet, just lightly rubbed a bit on my legs. My heels still look dry/like they did before the pedicure. She also did not fully rinse off the scrub so I'm still brushing pieces off of my legs and feet. The polish looks OK, but I will definitely not be returning! read more

Ever since I moved to the city in september, finding a new nail salon has been impossible! not only are the prices ridiculous but all the places i've try do a terrible job. Bellissimo is by far the worst, i've gone there a handful of times because of its convenience and every time i'm disappointed and tell myself i'm not going back, although this time i mean it! don't be fooled because your nails look good on day one.... they'll chip the next day and give it just a few more days and you'll need them redone . never going back here again especially not for the price they charge me. read more

I went here as a walk-in and wasn't sure what to expect. Not only was it clean, but the girl who did my nails did an amazing job. She was SO fast that I didn't think there was any way it would turn out okay. I had a gel removal and gel mani. Beautiful and fast. She did the gel thinner than many places do and I love that. I hate when it's thick- it seems to chip easier that way. Will ALWAYS go here when I'm in town. And I need to find out my girl's name! read more
