I love them and always leave there glowing. The laser treatments have been going well so far - I wouldn't call them fun or relaxing by any means but they're effective! The staff here has always been super lovely. My usually aesthetician moved this year so I started going to new people (I can't remember their names) but they're also lovely. I'll also note that spa treatments are not cheap but skin spa ALWAYS has a deal going on so you can get good discounts and once you purchase a service, it doesn't expire. I love them.

The worst is their behavior around tipping for med spa services. They blatantly and aggressively tried to get me to tip for those, literally trying to shame into paying it by loudly requesting a tip in front of everyone at the front desk, in addition to a big tablet with a tip suggestion (of 20,25 etc % expectation clearly listed) shoved in my face. This is a shady practice trying to indicate to a patient that this kind of tip is expected on a med spa procedure. Industry norms within healthcare generally favor transparent, all-inclusive pricing rather than gratuity-based compensation. This principle typically applies to services provided within medical spas, regardless of whether a specific treatment is performed by a medical provider or an esthetician. Because the service is offered under the medical spa's clinical umbrella and within a healthcare-related environment, patients reasonably expect the advertised price to reflect the full cost of care. Soliciting tips in this setting can create confusion regarding pricing, blur professional boundaries, and undermine the distinction between healthcare services and traditional hospitality services. The business acknowledges med spa separation from their day spa services. You receive multiple emails, forms to sign, etc. indicating a treatment that is treated as a procedure done under medical setting. It should be left to a patient discretion to provide a token of gratuity if they decide to do so, but in the med spa setting, there should not be expectation of the same tipping practice as for the traditional day spa services. I was very taken aback by these practices. This behavior was not present at other branches, but unfortunately those have been closed or will be closed.

When I tried to politely respond to her message, I received a message that my number had been blocked. Adara is actually under new ownership now- and the spa has been renovated and looks fabulous. I believe it was earlier this month that they finally opened again after changing ownership. They have some soothing water sounds coming from the entryway right when you walk in. There's also some yummy Lindt chocolate on the table for when you are craving something sweet. I was offered a drink upon arrival and everyone was really sweet. I got the Adara Signature Facial and it was a very relaxing hour. There is some extraction though...but beauty is pain right? Grace was the one who gave me my facial and my skin got so much softer after I came out from there. She used G.M. Collin products on me and basically personalized which product of that line to use when I told her my skin troubles. Everything smelled really great and I've had a bunch of facials before from everywhere I've traveled to. I usually treat myself to one since it's such a staple of a vacation. I found the experience very peaceful and quiet, no crazy noises from outside- felt like i was in my own world. I saw that they do mani/pedi's and the pedicure station LOOKS so nice!!! They have OPI and essie products from what I saw. There's also a fun swinging chair you can sit on if you happen to arrive early. I would definitely recommend since if you compare the pricing to other spas, this one is much friendlier to your wallet and experience is comparable.
