We came here for a girls dinner and everything was delicious! They have things from pasta, to seafood, salads and more! Their pasta is homemade and made daily! Our waiter, Mike, offered great recommendations and the rest of the staff was very prompt! This was a great place for a weeknight girls hang!

Delicious meal and fantastic service. Our waiter Michael asked right away about dietary restrictions and was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. I had the Pollo Bellini (pan-seared chicken breast fillet, topped with spinach and crabmeat in a light lemon chardonnay sauce.) He said they use rice flour so the dish is naturally GF. There was a $10 charge for their GF pasta, which is rigatoni imported from Italy. (All regular pasta is made in house by an Italian chef.) I also had the homemade Crème Brûlée, the custard was so creamy with a crisp caramelized sugar crust (clearly labeled GF.) My non-GF friends also loved their meals (chicken parm and the pasta special.) I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Found this gem on Yelp. It was about a 5 min walk from our hotel and I'm really glad we ended up here. It's a small restaurant definitely felt more intimate "candle" lite table was very welcoming. We were greeted right away and sat as soon as we walked it. Everything from the drinks to the main dishes were delicious.! We never get dessert but we just had to try the gelato. Amazing as well! If we're ever back in Philly we will be back.

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary! Food came very quickly with prompt service. Our fried gnocchi appetizer was absolutely incredible and the main dishes were delicious too. Appreciated that they went out of their way to help us celebrate!

Really enjoyed the meal, service was excellent. Veal Parm - awesome, veal saltimbocca - awesome. Escargot - cooked perfectly but the polenta was quite dry, our only complaint. Our friends had the Tortelloni and Mediterranean Chicken. The house made pasta was also excellent, not sure what the picky Yelpers are griping about. Found this place on Opentable and if we would have checked Yelp, we would have missed out on a wonderful meal.

This was the one place I was told I couldn't miss by a lifelong Philly native and he wasn't wrong!! I got the chicken parm with vodka sauce and it was AMAZING!!! Ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and they were incredible! I wish I had gotten the chicken parm with the marinara sauce because that's what was on the meatballs, and it wasn't your typical marinara sauce. It was even better. I loved the vodka sauce on it though!!! Server was wonderful. Bellini was delicious!!! Loved the inside and decor.

It's a pretty average Italian spot. The complimentary bread was really dry and crumbly. The calamari had good seasoning but was a bit too oily and the breading turned out soggy. The bruschetta had a nice crunch to the bread, but the cheese on top was dry, tough, and lacked flavor. I had the Fettuccine al Ragu di Anatra--the sauce was tasty, though I was expecting shredded duck instead of ground. The pasta didn't hold together well and felt almost like it was gluten-free. Overall, the food was mediocre and not really worth the price, but the staff was friendly and the space was clean and spacious.

What a great find in Center City. Bellini invites you in with warmth and the smell of mom's kitchen. Charming and intimate. The staff is outstanding and attentive, yet not overbearing. The cuisine was excellent and generous. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a great dining experience.

Squid ink pasta brought the umami to the table. Cocktails a bit watered down. Stick to wine. Expected the Fried eggplant parmigiana to be like the chicken cutlet but is more of a lasagna style so disappointing. Menu states chef can make anything to your liking. Asked for no cheese on fried eggplant and told no can do. Had Chicken cutlet envy as viewed from adjoining table guests - that looks like a must try. If only Bellini made me friend eggplant no cheese - it could have been a more positive experience. Great service. Lady's enjoyed their bday dessert.

Does not list happy hour at bar only.

I came here yesterday for happy hour but was told it's only available at the bar. I have kids so of course I wouldn't and couldn't sit at the bar. Almost every place that has happy hour at the bar only lists it on their menu. I highly recommend updating the menu. The hosts were nice but said it's not legal to sit down in the dinning area and do happy hour in Philly which is not true at all. I've been to plenty of restaurants that offer sit down dinning happy hour. Also it took us over 30 mins mins to find parking. So come early or find a garage near by. We ended up leaving so I can't rate how the food was.

It had been a long time since I visited Bellini. Ironically, my first time eating here was Restaurant Week 2013. That lunch I shared with my son's father. This dinner date was with my son. We made a spur of the moment 9pm reservation via OpenTable. Bellini is on the corner and you could probably walk right past it if you're not careful. We arrived right on time and were properly greeted. When I told the maître d' we had a reservation, he immediately sat us at our table. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. It was loud simply because of the Eagles game that was playing on the television. There were people dining inside and in the outside seating area. The waitress arrived quickly and poured us water while we perused the menu. She also asked if we knew what we wanted to drink. The menu that was given showed wine and cocktails only. I had to ask about other drinks for my 15 year old. He requested a Coca Cola and for it to be poured in a wine glass. They accommodated his request. Since it was Restaurant Week, we ordered from that menu. My son, however, only wanted one thing and that was the Pollo alla Parmigiano I ordered: Bellini -- Fresh peach purée, topped with Italian prosecco Insalata di Cesare -- Crispy romaine lettuce with a homemade creamy Caesar dressing, croutons, and shaved parmigiano Ravioli di Ricotta Fresca -- Ravioli stuffed with fresh ricotta cheese served in San Marzano fondue Pollo alla Parmigiana -- Freshly breaded chicken tender, pan fried, topped with marinara and parmigiano. Tiramisu -- Three layers of lady fingers soaked in coffee and liqueur, filled with zabaglione cream, topped with grated Belgium Chocolate The Bellini and Tiramisu were not on the Restaurant Week menu. The food was excellently plated and delivered with impeccable timing. It was a nice consistent flow of food. I was able to eat and savor each course without feeling rushed. Each course was equally delicious. I loved the Ravioli (although it was only two of them) and the Pollo alla Parmigiana was superb. The chicken was juicy and tender with just the right amount of sauce. My son felt that it was too much sauce. The only thing that I didn't like was that even though my son had ONE item from the Restaurant Week menu, they charged me as if he ordered from each course. I wish they had charged me a là carte as if he had ordered from their regular menu. This jacked up the bill. This is my only complaint. All other aspects of our dinner were great. Our waitress and the staff were great! They checked in with us, but didn't hover. I would definitely return (probably on alone without my son)

It's been a decade since last visiting Bellini, but so happy to return to this adorable restaurant. Though under new ownership, the restaurant looks as I remember it. It was a celebratory meal as we were celebrating my mom's birthday and, luckily enough, we made reservations amidst restaurant week! What a lovely surprise to have the chance to experience a three course meal that featured some delicious, Italian classics. Between our party or 7, I'm certain we managed to try the ENTIRE tasting menu. I stepped out of my comfort zone for the occasion and ordered the arugula salad. The bitter lettuce has begun to grow on me a bit. It was dressed a with a light vinaigrette and topped with apples and pecans. It was a light and delicious start to the meal. Of course I *had to* try J's salad as well. He got the antipasto. It was more like a miniature charcuterie board which is a-okay with me! All the meats, cheeses, and accompaniments were tasty. For the second (pasta) course I, AGAIN, stepped out of my comfort zone or flavors and for the Gorgonzola gnocchi. So happy I did! It was so creamy and lacked the bite of cheese I typically run away from. J got the GF pesto and he said it was incredible. As an entree I got the chicken with the creamy Marsala sauce (i forger the official name of the dish). OMG!! I literally can't stop talking about it. I could eat the mushroom-sauce for the rest of my life it was that good. And for the finale, we got the dessert sampler (and then some). The majority of the options are homemade and to die for. We got the chocolate mousse, cheesecake, cannoli, cream puff and tiramisu. We also tried a trio of gelato which was creamy with every bite. Overall the experience at Bellini was great. The serving sizes were perfect. Our server, Mike, was a hoot and very attentive, though at times service was slow. No stars deducted as I'll assume the restaurant was under pressure serving the entire establishment three-course meals.

This swanky, hip place…read moreoffers up elevated tasty food and superb service in an exquisitely decorated, albeit small, cafe. We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.

I thought this place was very cute. Outdoor limited seating…read moreand indoor area as well. The appeal was to get a quick read in amd have my pup with me. I felt like I ordered the wrong combination. I was able to do an egg sandwich and swap for sourdough bread vs eng muffin. Love that. Didn't love the copper sharp cheese that was a bit messy and tangy. I kept thinking they must have added some type of sauce on it. I'd much rather come back for a simple fried egg combo and chedda cheese. I was also offered sparkling water, but I do wish it had more fizz. The service start to finish was superb in friendly and fast service. I'd come back for mimosa/bar for sure.
