Pizza is great!! Unfortunately they arent consistent. Out of the 20 times we have ordered, 3 times we received pizzas that looked like Salvador Dali clocks. The last pizza we ordered was charred with a layer on moisture on top....possibly from the mushrooms. The char made the cheese look weird...but it was edible. I'm concerned about my next order but will definitely order again....when I forget about the disappointment from the last Pizza. read more

Bad food. Bad combinations. Horrible tasteless crust. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

I am a regular customer here and the staff here are friendly. The lasagna and the buffalo wings are sooooo good. I would recommend this great corner pizzeria to anyone. read more

Ahhhh... the joys of trying to drive and park anywhere in the immediate vicinity could make the venerable Mahatma Gandhi look to purchase brass knuckles. (I'm not kidding or exaggerating when I tell you that I witnessed a line of double-parked cars when there were actual/real/empty parking spots 'open' - that's how wild it can be here.) I made my way inside Belleville Pizza (after legally parking, mind you!) and it was just as hectic here as it was outside. A slew of customers, delivery guys, workers... and no one was exactly sure where to stand or how to order or who should go next. Eventually it was my turn (I think?!), I grabbed my grub and did my best to get the heck out of Belleville (the potholes all along Washington Ave were the 'cherry on top' of this adventure, for sure). The good news: the food was actually worth the hassle. Well-made, generous portions, perfectly seasoned, more-than-fair pricing. They know how to knock out a damn good pizza. They can make a respectable pasta dish. (Trust me: a lot of pizzerias really can't, unfortunately.) Their garlic knots are the size of a softball. The mozz sticks - pretty run of the mill, and that's not a knock at all. If this joint were a lot closer to where I live - it would definitely get cycled into our weekly rotation, that's for sure. (And nothing but respect for the one pizzaiolo that was using his bare hands to grab and move pizzas in that blast-furnace of an oven. That was next-level superhero kinds of strength, for sure.) read more

A very good option in the area! Their cheese pizza is really really delicious. The sauce was very memorable. Super sweet but very well balanced. I loved it. I also got a few other slices and all were good but I would definitely get a regular cheese pie from here. I also ordered a sausage peppers and onion calzone which was very tasty. I would get an extra side order of sauce cause it's just that good. The staff was very friendly too. Food came out quickly, The restaurant itself is also very cute. Tons of tables to sit and enjoy lunch or dinner. Parking can probably be a little tough so they also deliver if needed. Overall a great option for some great pizza! read more

As I expand my pizza horizons, I land myself here at Belleville Pizza. What brought me here? A picture of the Palermo Sicilian Pie. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're going to start at the beginning. I called and ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza (as we always do because our son LOVES Buffalo Chicken), we got the Palermo Sicilian with thin crust and a riceball parmigiano. I was told 25 minutes and 25 minutes later as I was walking in, guys what? It was just coming out. Timing was impeccable. Plus they were fairly crowded. Excellent! Buffalo Chicken was very good. Spicy but not insane hot. Very enjoyable. Looked a little soupy when I opened the box but it held together very well and the crust was nice and crispy. Palermo Sicilian was very different. They used a very sweet sauce on it. It was extremely different. It had fresh mozz topped with crushed tomatoes, some onions, Romano pecorino cheese and olive oil. The taste curveball it threw my wife turned her off. My palate is a little more sophisticated . I found as I finished the first piece and went fit a second, I was beginning to dig it in an odd way. It's not for the adventurous or those set in their pizza ways. The rice ball parmigiano was very good. It was a large riceball quartered and hit with sauce and mozzarella and then baked. Sauce was very good and everything put together went together like Daryl Hall and John Oates. read more

This pizza was so good I almost cried. I mean just look at the pic. I placed a pick up order thru grubhub for a Buffalo chicken pizza and a side of jalapeño poppers ($6). A lot of places are raising their prices these days which is understandable, but this place had good prices AND tasted amazing. Can't beat that. The pizza was cooked perfectly, it wasn't soggy & no cheese fell off while eating. Everything was ready quickly and it was eaten even quicker so the fact I was able to snag a photo is kind of a miracle. Anyways thanks Belleville pizza I'll be back :) read more

Belleville Pizza - It's really disappointing when you order pizza and this is what you get - Pizza Near Me - Belleville, New Jersey

Been ordering Belleville pizza, since forever. Always had a good experience. But today I ordered the daily special thru door dash.. I went to pick it up and upon arriving had to wait 15 min for my order. I didn't have a problem with that. When my order was ready, the young man told me everything was in the bag, didn't question that since I always had a great experience. When I do get home. My whole order was wrong. I was missing the garlic knots i ordered, the wings I ordered was wrong. When I do call the restaurant, they tell me they can give me a credit or they can make me another order but it will take 30 min if I go pick it up or 1 hour for delivery. I mean that ridiculous, read more

Live next door in Harrison, but have struggled to find a consistent pie that I love...that was until I tried these guys the other night. Had a plain pie two weeks ago and it was outstanding (some of the best in my 25 years in NJ). The other night we ordered the vodka pie, and it was incredible - the dough was perfect, vodka sauce excellent, and the fresh mozz to top it all off. Can't recommend them enough and am super excited for this to be my new weekly spot. read more

I have been to this spot a few times and was never let down with their pizza and choices. Unfortunately, I ordered today through an app and got a completely wrong pizza/order. The receipt had the correct items that were ordered but someone forgot to check before sending it out. What a disappointment now to have to wait another 30-45 mins on top of the hour already. Had to pick up some pizza and wings to bring over to friends on a sunday afternoon and this place was nearby so I decided to give it a try. Ordering was easy since you can order through the yelp app but I chose to call them to place my order instead. The guy that picked up was very friendly and didn't rush me when I was taking my sweet time ordering. Noona pie aka grandma pie was a bit disappointing. The crust was so hard that I was afraid to continue eating it for the sake of my teeth. BBQ chicken pie was pretty decent and good. Garlic knots was dry and bland, they also forgot to include marinara sauce so it was hard eating them. Buffalo wings was dry and bland. The ranch sauce was watery and the buffalo wings were like regular wings with not much taste to them. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed with the food. 1 star for prices and 1 star for service. read more

Delicious pasta and pizza! Found this place by accident and it looks basic from the outside but it's a total gem! My friends and I ordered from the pizzeria for the first time after reading excellent reviews. We ordered three pies: Cheese pizza with jalapeños and bell peppers, Vodka pizza with jalapeños, bell peppers, and spinach, and White pizza with spinach (not pictured below). The Vodka pizza was the party's favorite because of the perfectly seasoned creamy vodka sauce. The least favorite was the White pizza because it was bland and required some hot sauce or red chili flakes. Another reason is that the White pizza was sauceless topped with ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Overall, all of the pies were thin crust and had fresh ingredients, which is always a plus point. read more

Ordered a chicken parm sandwich and salad off Grubhub. Said my order was to arrive at 7pm but it didn't so I decided to call at 7:30. The person on the phone said that they had to wait for one of the drivers to return since it was raining and orders were delayed due to the weather. Food arrived at 8 and it looked like they did a rush job on the sandwich. It was barely edible, bread was so soggy. Good thing I at least had the salad which was just ok. Won't be ordering sandwiches from them anymore. read more

Regarding my 24.00 dollar lunch. I called and told them I was unable to eat the fried Calamari, so they told me they would come pick it up. Hours later they still didn't come. I asked for a refund they told me this would take 5 business days. To date they have not credited me. read more

Ive ate at this establishment for years... in the beginning food was solid. They seemed to care about the quality of service. But the pass few years ive noticed a unfortunate decline. There's a bunch of knuckleheads working there. Maybe due to low wage pay and trying to make as much of a profit but its not beneficial at all for the customers. The food doesnt even come out hot! Let alone tasty. They use old products to save but if anyone knows food can tell. The lettuce is almost always browning. The pizza is dismal and they never listen to how you want you food to be made. Get some ppl in there with food service certifications in the least! This place had so much potential and now they just do the bare minimum (if that). The owner she be ashamed of himself. As for anyone trying to attempt to respond to me. I am a certified Chef. Been in the industry for 20 years. I have all of my certs and just plain common sense and knowledge to know good products. Shame on you man. Its pure laziness! Its a pizzeria for crying out loud the easy food in the nation. read more

Can't believe someone tasted this sauce and decided it was okay to serve. It tasted like someone added sugar to the sauce and then forgot they added it. So they added it again. Then they forgot again and added it again. And what they got was ketchup. This isn't me over exaggerating because it was slightly sweet. It was literally gross. The crust was crumbly. No chew to it whatsoever. And the zeppoles were so dense. Not light and fluffy like they should be. They were hard to chew and swallow. read more

Ordered take out and the food was terrible! I normally get the Eggplant parm pizza, but this was poorly done. Eggplant tasted like pure breadcrumbs. The service was Slow and I only order a large pie. And after waiting an half an hour there was a hair in my pizza.

My wife and I have ordered from Belleville Pizza located at 145 Washington Ave, Belleville, NJ 07109 (973) 798-9508, since 2017, from the pizza to the sandwiches, everything was always great. On-time delivery, a smiling delivery person, I truly appreciated ordering from them until today. My wife ordered a Ham, Salami, Capicola, and Provolone Hero, it came to us slimy, the meat had slime on it as if it had been left outside of refrigeration for more than a day and it had a foul-smelling odor. The lettuce was brownish looking and discolored; clearly, something was wrong. When I called to explain what had happened; I haven't complained, I gave John an opportunity to access and evaluate what I said. John was only interested that $8.75 was refunded for a spoiled sandwich. He never postured himself to apologize, he never made an attempt to inquire what happened, obviously "Customer Satisfaction" was never a thought. Customer satisfaction is defined as a measurement that determines how happy customers are with a company's products, services, and capabilities. Customer satisfaction information, including surveys and ratings, can help a company determine how to best improve or changes its products and services. Sadly, I will no longer give him my business, and I believe that his thought process is that Belleville Pizza has been in operation for such a long time, the store gets good ratings online all the time, and also, where else are you going to get pizza from? Shame on you John if that is your mindset, one day that mindset will catch up with you. One day. You never know whom you are serving. Their food is overall low quality, generic, and bland. I wanted a good cheese pizza and chicken parm sandwich but it wasn't very good and wouldn't recommend it. There's absolutely no way this place should be rated 4 stars in this location. Maybe if they were in West Virginia or someplace but not in NJ no shot.
