Hummus
Dave F.

I've driven by this place so many times and yet this weekend was my first time to actually go in and dine. Upon entering, I got that "fresh food" kind of vibe. The menu was not very big so it made me think that they would be really good at what they made. That logic proved right. I started with an appetizer of humus and my son ordered the cheese pizza. At first, I wasn't impressed with his pizza based on looks -- then I tasted it. The pizza was really good. The humus was also really solid. For my main, I ordered a burger. I think I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a pic of it. Regardless, it also was a really good burger. The restaurant is an order from the counter concept and then take a seat. You're on the hook for your refills / condiments / dinnerware. I like that. Only drawback is the parking situation. The front lot is pretty small and there were no spaces. Otherwise, I really like the place! Thank you to the Yelpers who went before me and left the good reviews and enticing pictures.

I'd heard of the franchise before, but I don't recall ever visiting one until recently. While visiting my parents, my dad and I stopped in for an early dinner. I ordered the Fig & Pig Pizza, but the staff was very accommodating and let me remove the prosciutto. The pizza itself had fig jam, mozzarella, basil, and small dollops of goat cheese. The crust was very soft--more like a flatbread--and because of that, the cheese kept sliding off, which made it a bit tricky to eat. The first couple of slices were tasty, but after a while the sweetness from the fig jam became a bit overwhelming. Still, I appreciated that they were flexible with my order. My dad got the veggie burger, which he said was good but tended to fall apart easily. In a way, that seemed like a sign that it wasn't heavy on oils or binders, which means it was probably a healthier option. It came with sweet potato fries, and the staff quickly brought him mustard when he asked, which he appreciated. The seating area and décor were both very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The patio looked great too, though the weather was a little too cool for us to sit outside. Overall, it was a pleasant foodie experience. The pizza was filling, even though I didn't finish all the crust, and while the fig jam got a bit tiring after a while, I'm still glad I tried it.

I have stopped by this location a couple times and I feel like the food is always great and the staff always go above and beyond to give an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is always very clean and they have a variety of indoor and outdoor seating but if you have a larger group inside seating will be more accommodating. I tried one of the specials this past visit and really enjoyed the golden glow roasted veggies and I added blacked salmon to. I am also very impressed with the gluten free options they have here, you can have almost everything customized or is offered gluten free from pasta, to burgers and even the kids meals.

This is the so called "summer watermelon & feta salad". For $19.99+Tax & Fees via UberEats you get basically arugula and vinagrette.

Second consecutive time ordering delivery from Bellagreen where the food we receive leaves much to be desired and not even remotely matches the description of the item on their website menu and is certainly not worth the cost one is charged for it. This is the so called "summer watermelon & feta salad". For $19.99+Tax & Fees via UberEats you get arugula and vinagrette. No feta cheese , no candied pecans, no cucumber. I waited a few months since last time I ordered and I was naive enough to think the issues where a one time problem. The reality is that Bellagreen does not care about product quality and customer satisfaction for delivery orders. I cannot believe anyone checked this item before it was packaged. If they did check it they should be fired on the spot. It is disrespectful and disappointing and a waste of my time. I did call the restaurant to pass the feedback and I spoke to a supervisor named Michelle. All I got was a "we will need to review with our quality team" comment. I want this place to be good but unfortunately it was clear they don't really care for my feedback. There are way too many restaurants and options in houston for me to waste my time and energy dealing with sub par and expensive food from places that don't care. My family and I used to eat at Bellagreen about once a week. Certainly several times each month. Because of bad experiences like this our frequency has gone down to a few times a year. This bad delivery experience I think is the last straw and probably will be my last. It's unfortunate as we loved Bellagreen. It's just not worth it playing delivery roulette not knowing what we are going to get.

Bellagreen ambiance was amazing! I did expect it to be a little more quiet but it was not loud. I think what makes it come off as fast pace is seeing the kitchen area. The service was amazing! Starting from the cashier and all! The food was made fresh! And presented very nicely! The seating was comfortable! Plus they have outdoor seating for friends, family or if you want a more intimate area. The splashes of greenery on the wall just gives the restaurant that extra kiss that they are serving fresh healthy food! You guys should definitely come try them out!

I ordered buffalo cauliflower and the turkey wraps through Uber Eats. The cauliflower had a great taste but wish they were crunchier. The turkey wraps were just okay. I think it would have been better and easier to eat in an actual restaurant.

GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH (left), FIRE-ROASTED TOMATO BASIL VEG
Lauren ..

The tomato soup was definitely the highlight, it was very creamy, tasty, and unique compared to other tomato basil soups I've had and I liked how it had melted mozzarella. The grilled chicken sandwich was good but nothing special, it reminded me of the grilled chicken bacon and avocado sandwich from chili's but not as good as the one from chili's. It could've used some sauce, and the chicken was a bit dry, but overall had good flavor

My favorite places to have brunch. I love that they have so many vegetarian and pescatarian options. Healthy and amazingly delicious. So fresh and the mimosas aren't too bad either.....wink wink!

HONEY-FRIED GOAT CHEESE & ARUGULA SALAD [GF][VEG]

Wow-admit we haven't been in about two months bc of family emergency-but what happened to our go-to? Got tomato soup and goat-cheese salad -no cheese-puff with soup-it was a flat/rock-hard cracker, but soup was still tasty, as usual. Salad--first bite in and practically split my lip on 'arugula' as still attached to the vine...like biting into a twig!

Tonight we were searching for something healthy; low and behold we came across Bellagreen. You order up at the front and the menus are in a wooden bin. They were serving happy hour when we got there. I got a $3 Stella Artois and decided on half-off Sticky Wings. They were gluten free, so no breading and honestly, I prefer them that way. The skin was super crispy and the sauce was almost asian flavored with a side of what I assume tasted like an organic ranch. It was really good nonetheless. For our entrees, I decided on the White Chicken Parm which consisted of "pan-seared chicken, lightly crusted with lemon pepper parmesan; served with gluten free spaghetti pasta tossed with olive oil, homemade béchamel & white wine sauce with garlic, shallots, roasted tomatoes & parmesan; garnished with broccolini, parsley & grilled lemon." I used the grilled lemon atop the chicken and pasta for an extra lemony taste. YUM! Robbie chose the Way Bacon Burger which included "Heartbrand Akaushi Wagyu with sweet & spicy candied bacon, caramelized onions & raspberries, house-made pickles, lettuce, tomatoes & roasted garlic aioli on a brioche bun," however, he ordered without the bun, substitute lettuce wrap. There was a mix up and we ended up getting charged for the gluten free bun, but was promptly offered a refund or a dessert. We took the dessert! The dessert we chose was the Candy Cane Cheesecake. The consistency was almost like cookie dough, the crust was like a cookie and it was delicious. We left Bellagreen feeling good about what we ate, not feeling overly stuffed or guilty about it, Incredible staff and food, I can't wait to try their whole menu.

Brick chicken to go....they really charge $18 for this? And not even half chicken like menu states
Tish P.

Keto diet? You'll struggle, it's hard to manage here. Everything, including salads, is always ruined by some honey glazed seared something or another, sauce with added sweetener, full of higher glycemic fruits that's hard to maneuver around, or comes in a wrap or bread (which is typical). And I'm pretty stellar at asking for workarounds so that says something. However when I've tried to make it work, I've ordered the brick chicken which was supposed to be half a chicken, it wasn't. Plus it was very dry, void of flavor, and definitely not worth $18 even in this 2022 inflated market. I've also ordered a hamburger no bun, it still needed something and I added mushrooms and avocado. That being said, when I'm not worrying about carbs or my blood sugar levels, the grilled salmon pasta is so damn delicious!!!! It is 4 star level and I just love it. Grilled salmon on top of spaghetti in a pesto cream sauce with capers and olives for perfectly added saltiness. The dish also has tomatoes, bell peppers, and jalapeños for a little kick. I mean it's really divine. As far as customer service, I've only been inside this establishment once and it was for takeout. It was OK, they kinda forgot about me but it was lunch time and they were busy. Every other time I've eaten food from here was a group lunch order that someone else picked up. That pasta though....

Yes, a toasty pot roast grilled cheese sandwich dunked in a rich creamy tomato basil on a rainy day. That being said, Black Walnut provides the perfect rainy day meal. While I've yet to discover a Black Walnut dessert to my liking, the higher end fast causal concept, bistro atmosphere, and surprisingly tasty offerings like this one keep me coming back.

My experience started online , I made an order for pickup and when I sat to eat it, there were a few mistakes made that I could not just ignore. I hate being the guy who needs a correction or a refund etc. I'm real go with the flow and trust me I know EVERYONE makes mistakes so I never get angry or frustrated at all, but I spent my money there and thought I'd at-least call them to see if anything can be done. Well I spoke with management and they not only apologized sincerely but guaranteed they would fix the issue by remaking my order completely whenever I chose ! All I had to do was go in and say my name. Today I took them up on that offer and they made me one of the best bowls I've ever had from Cava in my life and didn't charge me a dime! They were friendly , nice , and most importantly professional about the entire situation. I am big on customer service , I own a few businesses and when I see people doing the right thing I think it deserves a shout out! So to all of the Cava staff this is my shoutout to you! Whether it's trendy or not, I'm happy to say that after 2 years away, I can now revisit Cava with fresh eyes and a fresh perspective. Most elements of this shop have remained the same over the years. Fast casual customizable product. Simple straightforward options with a Mediterranean twist. Fountain drinks with a few worth while additions. They are however mixing things up with glazed salmon, seasoned pita chips and something strawberry sesame for the summer. I won't detail the ordering process because if you've been to any restaurant of this type, you've been to them all, but I will say that even though there were a few hiccups in my order (the crew was replacing meats, but did not replace the salmon leaving me with older salmon, and my greens ended up on top leaving a pool of sauce at the bottom of my bowl after confusion around limited power greens), they're still worth the revisit. They were slammed after all and even with the hiccups I enjoyed my bowl and appreciate the ingredient transparency. Happy healthy eating out!

Thus, we were literally in shock when we entered into the venue and realized that it is a SIT-DOWN RESTAURANT! I didn't think it would be fast food style like Popeye's or KFC. However, I imagined it would be along the line of Cane's, but a little more upscale. My first reaction was, "Aww man, I'm going to have to pay more for something that is already sort of pricey." I'm thinking in terms of tipping. HOWEVER, I actually had a really great time here. The menu is simple, yet unique simultaneously with monthly special burgers and Korean inspired flavors. I LOVE the fact that you can substitute the crispy chicken for GRILLED. I'm all about eating out, enjoying food, but also trying to select better options. Healthy eating doesn't mean boring! This place seems like an American/Korean fusion restaurant, or an Americanized version of Bon Chon. The vibe is really cozy, intimate, and chill. It's a great spot to casually hang out with friends or family. The wait for the chicken was long, BUT it was worth the wait. The food was hot and fresh. The Korean BBQ OG Grilled Chicken Sandwich - It was huge! Even though I am a petite 95 lb lady, I devoured that sandwich. The flavor wasn't an authentic Korean flavor, but it wasn't bad! It was more sour and salty for my taste. I think it would balance out more if there were no pickles, and a mixture of the kimchi carrot slaw + regular mayo based coleslaw. Szechuan Fries - The Szechuan mustard sauce is powerful and incredibly overwhelming. I do NOT recommend that sauce at all. I think if you order these fries, just OMIT that mustard sauce. I felt like all my sinuses cleared up and my eye balls were about to pop out. Dirty Fries - You can't go wrong with cheese fries. I am not a sour person, so I didn't enjoy the pickles on the fries. Our server, Brenna, was INCREDIBLE! She is the main reason why this review is getting a 5 star. She didn't know that it was basically our first time and she still gave us exceptional service. She was friendly, patient, and sweet. We ordered the Szechuan Fries because it was a free offer upon signing up for their rewards program. I told her I didn't like the mustard sauce and she offered to get us the Dirty Fries! I was like, "What?!" The fries were already free, so I didn't expect her to even offer a substitution. ALSO, for the Kid's Meal, she let us know that the side could be substituted for something else at no extra charge. If she didn't make that known to us, we would have had no idea. I'm glad she mentioned it because the boys LOVE mac & cheese, so that was perfect. Also, we were already getting fries, so it helped us to get more variety. All in all, the place is a little expensive, but I had a great time. The service was superb, the food was great, and I noticed that they are involved in the community. I love supporting businesses that give back. Thus, I would recommend trying this place out, even if it's just once!

You can choose to sit either inside or outside. We went with the Houston Restaurant week menu which features some of their most popular dishes. For the appetizer, we tried the sautéed calamari and gumbo. The calamari had a nice creamy garlic sauce which paired well the sautéed bell pepper, onions, and tender calamari. Their gumbo is solid, not too spicy and had nicely cooked rice and a mix of toppings. The rice had a good bite and absorbed the flavor from the gumbo well. I would recommend the sautéed calamari. For entrees, we ordered the wild caught king clip and steak Diane. The very buttery king clip comes with sautéed spinach and is basted in a creamy, slightly lemony sauce which compliments both elements of the dish. The kingclip is garnished with micro greens and comes with an extra lemon for additional acidity, but I felt that it wasn't needed. The steak Diane had a medium cook and was soooo tender to the bite. I would recommend both, but partial towards the king clip if you want to try something unique! Lastly for dessert, I ordered the passion fruit crème brûlée which had such a unique flavor profile! The tartness of the passion fruit goes surprisingly well with the warm vanilla custard. The texture of the creme brûlée toasted sugar top was perfect as well and added a really nice crunch to every bite. My friend ordered their sticky toffee pudding, which was arguably the best one I've had yet. The toffee syrup is incredibly rich and adds a nice caramelized flavor to the ice cream and moist cake base. It's garnished with bits of sugary crumble and fruit. You really can't go wrong with either, but if I had to pick, their sticky toffee pudding is a must try. All in all, such a fun and intimate dining experience!

The K'Pop Chicken (cute pun) is a popcorn chicken version of Korean fried chicken with a sticky glaze that has a bit of a kick to it, while the Soy Glazed Chicken is (what I think is) their grilled option, which tastes exactly as it sounds. I definitely recommend the K'Pop chicken, but both were tasty. Ingredient options are fun but REALLY fusion-y... obviously, don't come here expecting any type of authentic experience. But I did love that the options for the base include japchae, since I don't have the opportunity to order this on this side of town.
