Meat Eater Pizza
Michelle M.

I ordered two large specialty pizzas online at Bellacinos. It's been a while since I had their pizza, my great nieces came over for a visit, and decided they wanted Bellacinos pizza. The total cost of the two pizzas was $47.94. I ordered a meat eater and a barbecue chicken pizza, the pizzas were only ok. They didn't taste like they once tasted. They're still not stingy with their toppings the toppings were plentiful, but the crust wasn't good and it was tough. The pizza flavor was ok, but over all not as good as it use to be. I'll continue going to Papa John's. I think this was my final visit to Bellacinos Pizza and Grinders.

A "so-called" calzone. As you can plainly see, there's BARELY any cheese or pepperoni!!
Cindi J.

I'm originally from Chicago, and on the advice of friends I was told Bellacinos would offer me a "taste of home." Sadly, what they considered a calzone was a cut-up piece of dough.(BTW, no self respecting Italian restaurant would EVER cut their calzone!) I had to pay extra for toppings, and from the pics I've posted, it shows the pitiful amount of pepperoni and cheese (or should I say; "lack there of". Furthermore, you can also see that there's NO SAUCE inside!!!! I did not order a Stromboli, because again any Italian restaurant would know that a calzone comes WITH sauce on the inside. And a Stromboli comes WITHOUT sauce, and offers it on the side. If I could rate them with no stars, I would. Completely disappointed

Really enjoy their Pizza and pasta! Employees are incredibly nice. The cookies they have by the register are just the best

Our family (3yo and 1yo) went in a weeknight, so not too busy, not the problem. We sat outside to avoid disturbing people with our kids. Drinks came out watery (syrup not refilled? But even after refill they were watery, so maybe just saving on syrup). Didn't help that one of the drinks had the paper from the straw in it when he brought it the second time. Several listed drink menu options were not available, so we deferred this. Food took forever, the kids got antsy. Trucks and several cars gum ir thro downtown Easley, and the patio is right next to the main road, so not a restful environment, and no sound guard walls to protect the area. We ended up with pizza and other comfort foods for the kids, because there were no good/special menu option to us. Pizza was reasonable, the crust was a bit stale and toppings were underdone. We deferred dessert because of the things we had experienced. My favorite cuisine is Italian and Greek - noting but disappointing, not to mention all the surrounding factors. We moved to Easley recently. I hope we get something better than this in this genre downtown, because we won't be back.

Our salads were also very good and the pepper Parmesan dressing was delish. 4.0. The waiter, great guy and great service recommended the "Tour of Venice". And it was pretty disappointing. The manicotti had a good filling and good sauce but the pasta was doughy and gummy 2.0. The lasagna was dry and over cooked and there was no recognizable ricotta in it adding to the dryness. 2.0. Lastly the chicken parmigiana was bad. The chicken was so dry and stringy I could not swallow it, I had to take it out of my mouth. That said we'll give it another try. The spaghetti and meatballs looked good and the onion rings looked good as well. I think the Venice trio had been sitting around and all got over cooked. If it is better next time, I'll amend my review.

There was a wait as they seem to be well know for having great food and service. The atmosphere was more intimate and inviting. The waitress was very kind and friendly. The bread was fresh and tasted great the salad had many toppings and the house made Italian dressing was delicious, nice to dip the bread in as well. Then came our entrees, I ordered the tortellini it was cooked well with lots of melted cheese on top holding in the sauce and fresh baked heat on the inside. It was very filling, only wish the inside was more creamy seemed to be mainly tortellini with not much sauce. But overall very good. Would recommend for a date night or family celebration. Great little Italian spot with great service and well made courses!

They offer many different flavors and types of dishes from Indian, Thai, and all American. I'm heading back on Saturday for lunch when they'll be open for business. I'll update once I've stopped in.

It is suitable for crowds. Of course, the old silos were built for grain storage in the late 40's time frame and now have been turned into a community hub of restaurants, bars, live music, outdoor dining via numerous vendors, fire pits and large screen tv's with even a rail car venue in a very eclectic and hip, urban setting. We were eating at one of the associated restaurants, Inky's, and they allow us to go to Silos Brewing and grab a beer to bring back for the meal. Very cool since Inky's sells draft, but just not this craft Silos draft. I really liked the cooperative and laid back approach by both establishments, including that Silos Brewing let me carry the glass over and not just a plastic cup. They will get it back. My choice was the "Smoke on the Lager" which is, of course, a lager base with smoky hints that went well with my Authentic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. As their website says, "our backyard is your playground," and I bet on a warm spring or summer evening (rather than a rainy, winter Thursday), this place would be excellent fun. "A place to share stories over a pint, challenge friends to a casual game, or bask in the laid-back vibes of our beer garden." I get that from this establishment and will definitely be back to partake of this hospitality. From what I have seen, despite the less than ideal weather, this is a definite road worthy destination spot even from Greenville or Clemson.

It seemed like they needed to change the oil in their fryer. However, the bartender had the manager come over and look. The manager said this is how it normally looks and people love it. I asked him if it seemed like the oil needed changed and he said no. He then sat at the bar and watched us. The manager was aggressive and rude. This is why I'm giving them a 1 star review. They didn't try to improve the situation and almost seemed hostile. My husband and I both come from restaurant backgrounds, so we weren't trying to cause trouble.
