I guess when you have one employee working the line gets backed up. I don't know what it is about this location but it's always bad. I'm assuming these are franchised so if that's the case then I feel really sorry for the workers. The standards here have to be a reflection of ownership and lack of care.

My one complaint was I asked for tostones (savory/salty flat fried plantains) and I think I must have confused the server because I got maduros instead (sweet fried plantains). For a two top we had to wait an hour to get an appetizer that came out cold, then another 45 minutes to have the main course sent out. It came out cold and they forgot one of the two dishes entirely. We were then told the order for the second person would be out shortly and waited another 20 minutes, after which we asked for the check and left. The wait staff was terrible, the bar tender was on her phone and not checking on people at the bar or taking on the task of pouring a beer, for which I had to wait 25 minutes after ordering while she was on her phone. When the bartender was not on her phone she was making an attempt at flirting with another worker in the building. Overall, I would highly recommend going anywhere else nearby. The only positive aspect here would be the environment. It was decent and clean. So I would say if you are interested in going here you should only go for the $2.75 beers during happy hour. Our first place that night become regular lunch location! First, there was a great ambiance to feel comfy and "at home". Bakery items by the register were enticing. Merchandise in the back inclusing super soft tees, sweatshirts and pants amongst other items (some handmade)! And there were Pickens referenced logos. I love finding shirts of a town!! This is all good but what really makes it superb is the food. I had the homemade chicken salad on wheat; healthy portion, soft bread and delicious chicken salad with a touch of apple plus a side of chicken dumpling soup. And a chai latte. All delicious. My friend had an egg and cheese croissant. She also exclaimed how delicious it was, especially the croissant. Finally, the staff. It was a big disappointment wanting an EGG sandwich and it's just a fake looking object that resembles an egg. Also, the quality of the sandwich was meh, for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich to barely have one piece of bacon total, that's a swing and a miss. It is sad when a chain such as Dunkin has a system for more consistency. We had also asked for butter but that went on deaf ears. The place is super cute in appearance and the staff was nice, but when it comes to food quality it does not hit the mark. Rather unfortunate.
