    Thai chili wings
    Nikki H.

Service: Not super busy when we arrived. The young man that served our table was nice. Food: I've dined here three times (once was a party). Not impressed with the wings, which is the reason we went. The lemon pepper was not peppered. There was melted butter in the pan, which is where I'm assuming the flavor was. I think wings on Wednesday are 30% off.

Server was pleasant and didnt bother coming every 5 minutes to ask if I'm okay, Clean your booths and cheese shakers.

    JUMBO wings? They are tiny!

The good: the Building and general vibe of the location is awesome! I had high hopes after walking in and seeing such a cool space. The food tasted good. People where friendly The bad: there for a birthday and birthday boy loves Bloody Mary. They had no mix to make it. I personally don't drink so I asked for a non alcoholic beer. They said they had athletic. They were out when she returned. Ordered the JUMBO wings. Tiniest wings I've ever seen. Non of the "hot" sauce had any spice at all. They also had a terrible DJ doing karaoke. It almost killed me at 7pm on a Wednesday. Would I go back...I'd give it a second chance maybe. It's a brewery they claim but didn't even give us a beer menu. For the vibe of the space the experience didn't match.

We are outside because we have a dog. They brought out a bowl of water for him without asking. Thought that was nice. The waitress was very nice and attentive. (sometimes outside seating doesn't get the best of service). We ordered Athenian pizza. The crust was crispy with yeast bubbles, and buttery. This is the closest pizza you are going to get to northern pizza!! The cannolis were as the should be; crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside with chocolate chips. I've never had sauces served with cannolis, but they have chocolate, raspberry and caramel. They were fresh and delicious. The ambiance is calm. The service was was quick. Honest people too. Husband left his phone and they put it behind the bar for safe keeping.

UPDATE I had a very enjoyable time Friday evening at Amici's with my sister. Every first Friday in the month they have stand up comedians and admission is free. While waiting we enjoyed a light meal of fried chicken tenders and fries. The food was fast, hot and fresh. Our waitress was very nice attentive. The comedy show was fun too. Stop by on the first Friday of the month for some food, friendship and laughs!

Brand new place in Downtown Easley! Beautiful restored building that has kept us curious over the past months as to what was coming and we had to try it out. The menu is very diverse with pizza, wings, salads and many other really interesting offerings. We were quite pleased with the menu. The food was well prepared and delivered by a cordial staff. Definitely a place to try! You'll enjoy the atmosphere and the food. It's a brewery with a large outside patio and inside dining. Perfect place to come with friends! I wish them well and we will be coming back for certain.

The pizza was uncooked made very sloppy.

Inky's Authentic Philadelphia Cheesesteaks and Hoagies

Inky's Philly Cheesesteak in Easley, SC, delivers a fantastic take on a regional favorite…read more Located at the base of The Silos--where several food trucks ply their specialties--Inky's stands out as a spacious, comfortable spot with large booths that invite you to settle in... and maybe stay a while. High ceiling, lots of wood paneling, very vintage while still feeling up to date. The menu includes burgers, deli-style hoagies, and salads, but let's be honest: the cheesesteak is why you showed up--and it's good enough to keep you coming back. There's some real history behind the name. Albert "Inky" Harris ran the first cheesesteak and hoagie shop in Philadelphia back in the 1940s, and the current grandchildren owners carry that legacy forward. Whether every detail has been perfectly preserved or lovingly remembered, one thing is certain: they source their white American cheese from Philly, and the result feels authentic. And that makes all the difference. The fresh-baked Liscio's rolls are huge--soft and warm on the inside, with a firm, crusty on the outside. Like me... on a good day. Inside, finely chopped steak, peppers, onions, and that perfectly melted white American cheese are blended together, so every bite delivers a balanced, satisfying hit of flavor. No "all onions in one bite, no meat in the next" surprises--just consistent harmony. And the star of the show? Certified Angus ribeye. No shortcuts. No skimping. No regrets. Sandwiches come in 7", 12", or the "I wish I was still in college" 18" option--because sometimes restraint is overrated. My wife and I split the Colossal. The meals are served on trendy paper-toppped metsl trays. The staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome and walk you through all the options. Sides round out the experience with plenty of choices: fries, tater tots, onion rings, pasta salad, fried mushrooms (hello, childhood), and a standout option--house-made chips, sliced and fried fresh and disappearing faster than your willpower. Bottom line: If you're craving a true Philly-style cheesesteak without leaving the Upstate, Inky's is absolutely worth the stop. Just don't plan on eating light... or sharing. Rainy-ish Thursday December night at about midnight, or really 6:00PM but as dark and rainy as it was, it felt like midnight, the crowd had not hit yet but was trickling in. I found the opportunity to hit up Inky's going to a Clemson graduation party from Greenville. Good timing. No wait seating. Allowed to get a beer from next door, craft beers from Silos Brewing. Ordered the authentic standard 12 inch Philly with the Cooper cheese option, no additions because we are playing the authenticity game. Which is in itself a bit of an argument since a few "authentic" cheesesteaks in Philly swear by Cheese Whiz as authentic. Cheese Whiz is not an option, but provolone or American and Cooper are options. This is otherwise certified Angus beef ribeye, sliced super thin and incorporated on the grill with onions and the cheese into one homogeneous filling of authenticity. Also, the roll is the authentic Italian style from Liscio's Bakery - softer and chewier. I am not sure if it is a Liscio style or if they actually import these, but they are the real deal for texture and flavor. So, all that is fantastic. My only beef with the authenticity is just that....the beef. Not specifically the beef quality, but the beef quantity. The Philly Cheesesteaks I have had (in Philly) usually have a higher beef to bread ratio than my experience here. Could just be the chef for this one, but it seemed that my experience has been beef almost overflowing the hoagie bread. With that said, this is a fantastic and mouth watering sandwich. Not dry. Steaming hot. Came out very quickly. Made to order. Priced at $14.25 with tax comes to $15.53. I would say that coupled with the Silos experience, this is a destination worthy sandwich. If the restaurant keeps it this way, still worth it, but I wish there were an option to pay $2 more, for example, for 1.5X meat and it would be perfect. Oh, and maybe add the Cheese Whiz option for that side of town.

This place is such a gem! Foodie alert!…read more A sweet little cafe, coffee shop, bakery, amongst a small, rural neighborhood, in the trees. It's on the corner of a semi busy little country road, in a very old, historic building. The big mural is nice. I love that they have a great outdoor space with many tables, picnic tables, cornhole, and a gated in play area for toddlers - with chairs inside there for parents. Very cool space! When we walked in, the place was so adorable, decorated very nicely, and all the goodies looked amazing!! Mama Judy was at the counter (the owner/ bakers mom), and she was so sweet and fun! Very cool that the baking kitchen is upstairs in the same building. We ordered all the things! It was hard to decide: We got the pumpkin bisque (soup) -- it wasn't like any I've had before. More so like thick, puréed pumpkin, not so much a traditional bisque. Not enough liquid added to make it soupy for me. But the flavor was decent. Not my fav though. Autumn grilled cheese: homemade pimento grilled cheese with bacon, cooked green apples, on this amazing homemade bread that seemed almost like a mix of cornmeal and flour... like a little corn grainy and crispy crust- so good!!! The pimento cheese was a bit rich and heavy for me-- BUT that is what pimento is lol it's rich and super creamy. Delicious cheesy goodness, but just put me in a food coma lol. Big portions too! We had to eat it with a fork and knife since it was pretty messy and hearty lol but that was fine. I can't wait to try other sandwiches like the Turkey Brie, etc. We also ordered a slice of the chicken pot pie. The crust was incredible - light and flakey. And the filling was very flavorful. Although the flavors were a bit different than I'm used to in a traditional pot pie. It seemed to have more of a maybe nutmeg and cardamom spiced flavor added in which was unique. You could tell it was made from scratch, and made with love. Just not sure if it was my favorite flavor profile for the inside. It was a little cold inside so probably needed a little more time to heat up. But still was devoured none the less. I got the Mae latte with oat milk, and half the sweetness because I am not a sweet tooth. Mine was good and had great fall flavors. My boyfriend got the Ann latte with whole milk. He said it was just okay and didn't taste like much. Then at the end of his drink, he realized all the spice and flavor and sweetness was at the bottom and didn't mix in well I guess. We know to mix it next time. Are we got a slice of Keylime pie to go. It was a very hard decision deciding which pie to take. I LOVED the key lime pie! To me, this is what real Keylime pie tastes like, with pungent tartness, and just a hint of sweet with a perfect graham cracker crust. My boyfriend did not like it because he is used to the fake, processed, really sweet, Keylime pie from the grocery store, that is not sour or tart like Keylime pie should be. Lol He's excited to try the apple Carmel, peach cobbler, etc next time. We were also given an amazing cookie to take home with us, that was such a treat and bursting with flavor! I forget what it was, but it seemed to have baked in Carmel and other things, Mixtown, and was crispy and buttery, and so incredible to our taste buds! They have a great menu with lots to choose from including quiches, mini sandwiches, different types of pies, baked goods, soup, etc. As well as lattes. They have some general pantry items on the shelves, both generic staples, and gourmet healthy treats. They also sell the cutest handmade knit hats and headbands, etc., that Mama Judy makes herself, and they are so soft and well-made! They sell premade, frozen pie crusts and chicken pot pie soup, ready to bake frozen cookies, etc. They have a selection of bottles and canned drinks in the fridges and other goodies as well. The location and outdoor space in nature is so peaceful and really sets the atmosphere in such a quaint, relaxing way. We can't wait to return and try other things. I love that it is all made from scratch with real and healthy ingredients used. A foodie dream! The owners story and background was fun to hear about, and I love that she had a vision and executed it, and is using her passion and creativity to build community! We'll be back very soon!
