    Philly cheesesteak sandwich with coleslaw

I didn't read the reviews before we came here to give them a fair chance. It's not in the greatest part of town but we love cafes. We went on a Saturday for lunch and we were the one people there. The waitress was attentive but I think she was stoned. The food was good! We had the individual pizza, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, the fried pork chops and a chicken fried steak. Everything was good and we all ate everything we ordered. I took one star off because the prices are steep for cafe food. It said the pork chop was 12oz but it was probably about 6oz and not enough for a normal eater, we ordered a second chop. This isn't a cheap eats place but the food is good.

Due to some car trouble on the way, I ended up at my hotel in Greenville past 11pm on a Monday evening. There were barely any options for food and I hadn't eaten since that morning. I was already tired so when the guy at the front desk gave me a menu for Liberty and told me they deliver until 3am, I knew that was the best option. The menu is huge so you should be able to find something that suits your taste pretty easy. They've combined Italian, Greek, and American food all onto one menu. We ordered a steak and cheese, half fried chicken entree, and an order of hummus. The food arrived quickly and more importantly hot and fresh! Nothing was soggy from sitting in Styrofoam for too long and you could tell the salad was made just before it went out the door. The steak and cheese was tasty as others have mentioned, but I gave up on it to focus on the fried chicken. It was so crispy and flavorful with just the right amount of breading. I would definitely order it again. The hummus was amazing too. It was topped with fresh diced tomatoes and feta cheese with kalamata olives and pepperoncines on the side. The only problem was that they didn't send enough pita to go with it. We even ordered a half gallon of un-sweet tea so we didn't even need to leave the room. It was $4 but I would have paid more for drinks at the hotel. It ended up being fairly pricey after the tea and delivery fee plus tip, but Liberty Cafe was a saving grace when I desperately needed something that wasn't a Big Mac. Well worth it too.

I just spent 5 minutes waiting at the counter for someone to take my order. No one ever showed up. Two kitchen workers looked right at me and kept working. I'll just go to the Chic-Fil-A across the street. I might be able to get lunch there.

Cold slop on a plate. Had to reheat it myself which only made it worse.

This was barely outside of where we go, maybe 2-3 miles, but the sandwich menu online looked solid so we decided to give it a shot. This place has a large footprint with the cafe, grocery store, coffee shop, patio benches, and a small playground. Parking is...unique and you just kind of find a spot that makes sense. The line to order sandwiches was long but it actually moves super fast because they have like 6 registers taking orders. We ordered the Gouda Gobbler and the Turkey Pesto sandwiches and both were absolutely incredible. The bread honestly makes it and we even saw people walking around just eating loaves of this bread out of a bag. After lunch, we walked around inside the store and it was so cute. There's plenty of local items and fresh produce. We will definitely be back and have found a new hot spot!

They have multiple doors to enter which was confusing, so I had to double back to the counter where you actually had to order drinks. The interiors are spacious. inviting, and modern, as evidenced by the nearly 30 people I saw camped out at tables working away at their laptops or holding video conferences. They also have a nice outdoor patio space as well. I went with an order of a half sweet iced mocha latte. There's an additional charge for any added flavoring, so the drink set me back over $7 (before any tip). While I don't mind paying a bit extra for a great drink, I felt it was very average in taste and probably would have received better from a chain coffee shop. Service from the staff was friendly. I felt this is one of those more modern workspace coffee shops that's lost in a bit of an identity crisis with some market and prepared food items. Perhaps I'm just not their target clientele given they seem to have a loyal following, but felt Chestnut Coffee House was a pretty average and slightly overpriced drink experience for me.

I will admit that my initial reaction to the Belgium waffle wasn't great. For a dine in experience, being served in a to-go container felt a little off, and the Smucker's syrup didn't exactly help matters. Let's be honest, that's not real maple syrup, and it definitely took away from the presentation. That said, the waffle itself redeemed those first impressions. It was delicious, light, and had this subtle hint of vanilla that made it feel a little more special than your standard waffle. That touch of sweetness and flavor helped me quickly forget my initial disappointment. The breakfast presentation could use a little upgrade, but the taste absolutely delivered.

We stopped in again Sunday, and even though the place was BUSY, the service was still top-notch. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Nobody gave off that "please don't ask me another question" busy-day energy. This time we tried the sampler with four different ice cream flavors, which is perfect when your brain says, "Just pick one," but your stomach says, "Why limit ourselves?" And then came the funniest part of the visit. She told us one of the flavors was caramelized pineapple... and somehow I heard Spider-Man. LOL. I have absolutely no idea how my brain got from caramelized pineapple to Spider-Man, but once I said it, the whole family lost it. We were all cracking up. So now, whether they like it or not, that flavor will probably forever be known as "the Spider-Man ice cream" in our house. LOL. Of course, we also had to get the Sunny Mango again. That drink is AMAZING and has officially become one of our must-orders. My daughter went with the birthday cake ice cream in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Great treats, great atmosphere, and even better people. The fact that they handled a busy Sunday this well says a lot. What started as a Yelp Elite visit has turned into one of our family's favorite places. 10/10 -- we'll definitely be back... and I'll try to listen a little harder next time they tell me the ice cream flavors.
