This is delicious. It doesn't matter how many times I go. It's always so good. The service is great and always fast. I love the update and there's always plenty of seating. Expect it to be busy it's a great place and worth the 30 minute drive for me. I love the pear and Gorgonzola pasta. It's different but I can't say anything I have will ever compare. There's plenty to choose from on the menu so don't expect to go there and not love something you eat. Prices are way too high. $8.99 for a salad that had one pale quarter of a tomato, a slice of cucumber and iceberg lettuce. The lasagna was barely warm and the breadstick was flavorless and hard. It was last year, when we went to have dinner there. We had our 4 yr old granddaughter with us, she wanted something else, so we went by chick-fil-a. It was a kids meal, so when we went inside the hostess said we couldn't bring the food in the restaurant. I told her she wouldn't eat anything there, did t think it would be a problem. She asked the manger or could have been the owner, he had an expression on his face that wasn't pleasant. She came back and told me we couldn't bring her food inside. So we turned around and walked out. Haven't been back there since. it wasn't gonna hurt anything to bring it in. I told her we wouldn't be back. Visiting BMW PERFORMANCE CENTER for M school in nearby Greer, SC. Recalled how pleased we were last year enjoying the recommendation for Paisanos! It was an easy 3 min drive from our Duncan hotel so very easy to reach after long 20 hr drive from PA to SC! Excellent pizza from the aroma and looks of them rolling by to feed large sports teams visiting. Very tempting to order, too! Our 4-some ordered a Large Greek salad with chicken, solo plate of 3 large meat balls (excluded the side of pasta), one nightly special veal Parmesan and I ordered eggplant Parmesan. All very tasty and FILLING! Larger portions than expected; two of us who ordered special Parmesan specials took half home with us and it made a good lunch the next day! Good selection of bottled wines reasonably priced to share among us! Surprising convenience that added much to our enjoyment of the tasty familiar dishes ordered! Casual ambiance was pleasing with many booths available and tables scattered to seat larger groups. Wait staff very pleasant and patient with us; as we awaited for two of our party caught in traffic coming from Columbia. Parking lot was FULL at 7 pm on Friday night which boded well for good food likely being prepared and served inside! Even with a 'no reservations policy', we received amazingly quick seating w no wait. Nice surprise! We had a very enjoyable dinner with good value for our selections chosen. Arrived with a party of four, mid week around 5pm and found the restaurant was just getting busy. Had no issues with seating and the place itself is very nice. Staff were pleasant although seemed a bit rushed due to influx of customers at that moment. Our table ordered two large pizzas. I loved the pizza personally. This is the 2nd time we've been, I don't recall what we ordered but our pizza came out to the table and was very hot and fresh. The 2nd pizza, ordered by the other couple in our party, with us was not correct. Staff was made aware and they corrected the issue. Two people were able to eat about half a large. Pizza is very thick like we love it. Cheese is on top of all toppings so it did make it difficult to see what kind of pizza (like pepperoni was underneath the cheese) but doesn't affect the taste! My only complaint, you're offering me a sample of numerous dishes all served together in a small dish, smothered in cheese (no complaints there, bring on the cheese), however I had no way of knowing what I was eating. My waitress brought me a plate to put it on. Excellent meal but honestly separate your separate your combo so your customers know that they're eating lasagna and manicotti in this bite...etc.. What a nice Italian Restaurant right off of I-85 ext 63. You can tell by the parking lot, it must be good. We sat down immediately and our drink orders were take. The service was efficient and our server was super sweet. We had a party of 3 and the place did a good job of disinfecting and distancing for COVID-19. Any one else ready for covid to be over? We ordered spaghetti, the portion was quite large. A veggie sub with fries. And a calzone. The food tastes really good and we enjoyed our time there. read more

I had the pleasure of eating at Paisano's two days in a row. Two separate clients picked Paisano's over a bunch of other Duncan Restaurants. I love the place and don't mind at all. First day I had the mushroom and black olive pizza. Very good. This place makes a fantastic pizza. Second day I had the spinach and portobello Ravioli. OMG Good!! Busy lunch crowd but we were seated promptly. Atmosphere is nice, nothing over the top certainly but not foreshadowing the wonderful meal to be prepared for us. Server was prompt, polite, and attentive but honestly the food here is the star as it should be. My girlfriend got the spaghetti, a safe choice but to be honest at many places this is a bland dish. Not at Pasanios! Full of flavor and much enjoyed by my admittedly picky girlfriend. I ordered the lasagna and it was wonderfully balanced. Often it can be either cheese or sauce but not Pasanios version. Great meat sauce that complemented the cheese but didn't overpower it. Ok, seriously. Who in the world eats this crap and actually thinks it's "good pizza"? Yes, I am a New Yorker, who grew up and lived my life eating the absolute best pizza that money can buy, but this is just horrible. I would actually say that Little Caesars is way better than this garbage, and I hate that junk. The only pizza I have ever had that was considerably worse than this is Hungry Howie's, and that was horrific. I'll keep this one short and sweet because I've only been once, but this is a must try if you enjoy Italian. Who doesn't? A big menu, It can definitely be said that a decent amount of their food is made from scratch. Service is excellent and their tiramisu is awesome. Definitely above average, I will be going back to try more, this visit I got the fettuccine alfredo. I was not impressed. Sauce tasted very weak, no good and tasty parmesan flavor, but it was smooth and creamy still. Calamari was excellent. Very nice atmosphere, perfect for a date night with your significant other or a good book. I'd highly recommend you swing by and try your luck, some items are better than others, overall though a very decent ristorante. Fettuccine Alfredo - 3/5 stars. Low on flavor but smooth and still creamy. Tiramisu - 4/5 stars. Creamy, wonderful espresso flavor and just the right amount of everything, but a bit small. Calamari - 4-5 stars. Hostile money hungry owner. This guy doesn't care about his customers. Chased me out the door today accusing me of being a repeat complainer. I have complained one other time many years ago because he would not let us move tables together. Now I admit, I have had people with me at lunch time that have complained, but it wasn't me. He is money hungry, he continues to go up on prices, wanted to charge me extra for onion rings when I wasn't told they were extra and on top of that I only got 5 onion rings. He is just a nasty person and if $1.50 is more important to you than a repeat customer then adios! We will never be back! Oh and he flipped me the bird as I walked out. We arrived with a party of seven and they had no trouble taking good care of us. Common beers with Italian food - no complaints. I had the baked ziti and it was unlike any other I had eaten. Pizza glory! I ordered the small veggie pizza and was blown away at the fresh veggies, amazing cheese, fresh tomato sauce, and soft crust. The fries could benefit with use of some seasoning flavors. Maybe parmesean cheese or something to compliment the Italian inspiration. The interior decor is stuck in the 90s and an interior designer with a modern vision would be great for the place. We sat near the middle of the restaurant but this didn't help the very cold air that flows in every time the door opens. If you don't like crisp air ask to be seated in the back. I'm sure theres a way to help remedy this airflow issue. read more

Long post alert**** I normally don't do post like this because I try to promote small businesses. MY PREGNANT sister ordered wings from Paisanos in Duncan and they were burnt . She simply called to return her order and it was a simple fix. She went to the restaurant to return her order which She then spoke to THE OWNER and he not only was just being plan nasty but he yelled at her in front of everyone in the restaurant. HE YELLED AT HER BLAMING HER FOR THE WINGS BEING BURNT. He was yelling at my sister so badly that the other customers behind her left and did not order from there. He also banned her from the store and told her she can never order there again when she asked to order something else. Also he claims she was being rude to him but she gave back the energy he gave to her. My sister was so upset and rightfully so embarrassed calls my mom crying and upset. My mom called up there and just asking what happened. She was explaining that she was an former administrator in the area and sent a lot of business their way. He gets very nasty with her and says you don't need to tell me your whole life story I got better things to do. She asked him was he treating her this way because she was black and he starts yelling at my mom saying he doesn't have time to answer questions like that then hangs up. My husband and I calls to ask for his name. A young girl picks up the phone I ask for the owners name she says hang on and hangs up the phone. I called back and he answered saying ma'am if "YOU PEOPLE"don't stopped calling here I will call the police and tell them your harassing me. I said sir I don't know why you assume that I'm calling for that and he interrupted me saying I'm calling the police on y'all because you keep calling. I have never in my life dealt with such a nasty person in my life. I thought I share This post with you so you can see how some of these businesses owners treat locals in the area. My wife and I had dinner here about a week or so ago. Paisanos describes itself as an Italian and Greek restaurant. I ordered a Greek sandwich called a gyro, and my wife had a calzone. Both dinners were not very good. Her marinara dipping sauce was thin and had no taste. My gyro was dry, clearly it was not cut from a beef and lamb meat skewer, more than likely it was frozen gyro meat which should never be served that way. Our server was very nice and attentive. I really liked their food but unfortunately this restaurant has gone downhill in the past few years. We started going when we lived in Duncan 6 years ago and used to go there even when we moved to Inman - until the past few years. They redid the interior and I believe that the restaurant was sold to different owners. They kept the menu the same but the service and customer service declined greatly. The last time I was there (6 months ago) it was awful. We were a little apprehensive about the cleanliness of the place when we were seated at our table, but ordered a pizza anyway.
