I love this sidewall location. The staff are super friendly and attentive. I was quickly greeted, seated, and taken care of. The pizza was good I wish there had been a little more toppings. This location doesn't even deserve a star. I've been to their other locations without issues but this one is the worst. We got sat right away. Inside is small. Maybe 10-12 tables. We waited over 10 mins and nobody greeted us. A table got sat after the 10 mins we were there and got greeted immediately! I said something to the hostess and she said she was going to find our server. Waited another 5 mins and I see that table already has drinks and their order taken. Come to find out I see their server was also our server. Why were they greeted and served first? I asked to speak to a manager and he comes up and doesn't greet us. Just nods his head up as if saying "sup". So that triggered me. Where is the customer service? I explain to him what's going on and he didn't know what to say. He finally gets our drink order and I see him fussing at our server. Our server comes back with drinks and we order our food. Our food was incorrect! Wrong cheese and wrong toppings plus the pizza was so flat in the middle you can see the silver platter that was under it. And you would think she would give us good service after we waited over 20 mins at that point to be helped and order food but we had to ask for drink refills. We were there for over 2 hours and not by choice. I did end up calling the owner and he seemed to take it serious. I told him I couldn't help but wonder if race had anything to do with it or if it was because we were in sweats. He said that def shouldn't be the case. He said he was going to look at cameras for proof. I said please do bc I timed everything and I told him where we sat and what we wore and the table that got greeted before us. I heard from him a week later and he just texts to apologize and sends a gift card. Gift card was a nice gesture but I still haven't used it yet. Just so turned off by the whole situation. read more

We love Sidewall! The TR location was actually the very first place we ate when we moved to the area about 2 years ago and since then we've been to all locations many times. The food is great, we love the ambiance, and the service is fantastic. We enjoy all of the seasonal offerings and always look forward to our bday coupons. The SVL location is closest to where we live now, and we do make the drive a couple times a month, but we'd love to see a location open up in Anderson! read more

My husband and I went here for our free birthday pizzas and got the Greek salad, antipasto pizza, and protein pizza. The Greek salad was absolutely amazing, especially with the sun dried tomatoes. The dressing was very light and had a great flavor. The antipasto pizza was fresh, but personally not my cup of tea. I thought I liked pesto more than I actually do. I would definitely try a non pesto base next time! The protein pizza was great. It was loaded up with toppings and an amazing flavor. On an otherwise somewhat off day, we stopped in to Sidewall Pizza with the Granddaughters and a Grandson. Even though the grandson and one granddaughter had already eaten lunch, they were suddenly ravenously hungry as soon as they walked in the door. Yep; pizza lovers. Hubby ordered the Arugula Salad, with no tomatoes, which was delicious! I ordered the Gluten-free Roasted Mushroom Pizza; it was also yummy. The teenager ordered the Pepperoni Pizza. All their pizzas are 14-inch size, so there was plenty of pizza to share. And it's a good thing, 'cause the younger grands ate two pieces apiece! After already having eaten lunch! Temperature was too cold for me, even with having a sweater on. Server could've been a little more attentive. Had to flag her down twice - first to get a beverage refill and then for the check. Also, she had on waaay too much perfume. Restrooms are located outside of the restaurant. I didn't use the facilities, but overheard a server directing another customer to their location. Stopped in for an early Sunday evening dinner. My wife got the peach salad, which she loved, and we split a pizza - 1/2 roasted mushroom and 1/2 protein, with a roasted garlic base. The pizza is thin, but it's bigger than the serving tray, so there is plenty of pizza. The crust is perfect; it's both crisp and chewy. The toppings are plentiful but not overloaded, and everything was fresh. They have a nice selection of craft beer on draft and a good selection of canned or bottled beer, too. Service was adequate and friendly. It's much more convenient than the location near University Ridge (which was why we hadn't visited in quite a while), with plenty of parking. read more

The breadsticks are and pretty big so the "small portion" was still a good amount 4. Went on a Friday night. It was busy but food was good and came out quickly. EXTREMELY over priced. Our service was HORRIBLE. Had to ask for silverware after our appetizer came out. Had to wait at least 15 minutes before we could ask for it and we weren't able to even ask our own server because we didn't see her. We saw all the other servers more than our server. Our server took our order, checked on us once. We had to ask the other servers for silverware, refill our drinks, bring boxes and let our server know that we wanted the check. My husband and son went to Sidewall last Thursday and it was delicious!!! Pizza sauce was incredible, we love a sauce that's a little sweeter, and paired with the breadsticks was great. The place wasn't busy when I went so the service was perfect and the food came out quick. The pizza was delicious, but a little too oily for my liking. Overpriced and poor service - took over 35 minutes to get two pizzas so the rest of our table was completely done eating before we even got food (understandable if it would have been busy but it wasn't) - had to go inside to ask the waitress for a refill on drinks just to find the entire wait staff hanging out doing absolutely nothing - we had no napkins had to go to the bathroom to wash my hands since we didn't have them and the waitress was no where to be found majority of the time - waitress asked how we wanted to split the bills and then we didn't see her again for another 20 minutes - again wasn't busy/ there were only two other tables in the entire restaurant - $56 for two pizzas is absurd - 1 only had cheese and bacon and $1 for a tbsp of ranch is again ridiculous. It's been awhile since I have left a review for sidewall. When I went last time at a different location I didn't like it but this location is much different. I usually always get the same thing and that's their build your own and I always get pesto sauce. Their pesto sauce is the only sauce I actually like when getting a pizza from sidewall. Their toppings are always amazing and I'll usually get different ones each time. This location has an amazing staff that is always making sure that you are satisfied and I appreciate that so much. Wanted to try Sidewall and see how the place was, we were in Simpsonville so we decided to try it out. I was a little curious to see the menu and try it for myself as the Spartanburg location closed very shortly after it was opened and I never got the chance to stop by. The building was nice the decor was simple but the restaurant itself was just one rectangular box I didn't even see a bathroom. There is a bar but no TVs behind it which is not a big deal to me but seemed kind of odd. There is a nice little patio outside but it was too chilly so we opted to stay indoors. The atmosphere was distant but welcoming. The server sat us straight way and was nice. We shared an appetizer and each ordered our own pizza even after we discovered that the only option is 14" inch pizza nothing smaller so if you and your guest have different tastes it can become quite pricey. The Buffalo chicken dip had little to no chicken in it, it tasted entirely like bleu cheese dip with Buffalo sauce on top. I didn't taste the cheese or see/taste chicken in it. It wasn't what we were expecting I am surprised my boyfriend ate it as he hates bleu cheese (I like it) but we did eat all the crostini and celery it came with and almost all but a little bit of the dip itself. My boyfriend ordered The Meat up pizza it also was no what he was expecting and didn't like it as much. The inside was super soggy and the tomato sauce was oddly very sweet. There was not a lot of meat inside which was disappointing as it is $25. I ordered a Margherita pizza ($16) as this is my go-to. The mozzarella was sparse and flat, I would've like to have had fresh sliced tomatoes on top like most Margherita pizzas but since it wasn't listed on the ingredients I wasn't expecting it nor could I be disappointed they weren't there. I do think it would be a nice touch. We did ask for ranch which they price a small to go cup that was 3/4 full for $1 which is pricey considering how small it was. Really my boyfriend wanted it but I ended up eating it as he did not like the taste. The ranch had a very herby flavor that is the only way to describe it. They also do not offer a variety in drink selections so we opted to get sweet tea which was fine. The server again was pleasant and nice, she refilled our drinks and checked in multiple times. I just do not think that the food was worth $76. Maybe if you came and shared one pizza with a few friends it would be fine but only offering 14" inch pizza forces you to either stick with one thing or get two separate pizzas. Enjoyed our pizza night out. We had a med style pizza (pesto, feta, chicken, olives and peppers). Was a great combo of flavors. The pizza was not over or under done, and came out in a timely manner. We also had the breadsticks- which are amazing, super soft and have a nice garlic taste (not overpowering). Carry out nightmare! We ordered 3 pizzas: meatball, Buffalo and potato. When I arrived they said one of our pizzas got dropped so they had to remake it. Extra 10 minute wait. Got home and the meatball pizza wasn't made, instead we got a pepperoni pizza ( pepperoni were just thrown on the pizza and not arranged well). The only fresh pizza was the one they remade because the other two sat for the 10 minutes getting cold. The manager said she'd refund me to price of the dropped pizza but she didn't - full price is showing up on my credit card today. The pepperoni pizza (that we didn't order) was burnt (see photo). As I sat and waited for the remake I watched other carry outs and each of them knew to check their orders to ensure they were correct and not missing extras and most had to be fixed. So apparently most regulars know to check their carry out orders before they leave. I guess quality control isn't required there! Overall the pizzas were good - nice crust, good amount of toppings and fair price but they really need to focus on delivering quality especially since they are competing with The Slice just across the road and The Slice is exceptional pizza. We really would have preferred that meatball pizza or that they delivered on the commitment and would have appreciated the refund they offered for the extra wait and inconvenience.
