Always great food! Service is always polite and the atmosphere is welcoming. We will always come back

I love this place. Columbo's feels like home. When I was a kid growing up in Clemson we'd come here on special occasions. The dessert pizza was my favorite. Now that I'm back here for college, it's cool to be here again. Nothing's changed and it still feels frozen in time. Recently asked Mark if we could rent out the place for two hours on a Wednesday and he was down. They set up nice for us and provided us 5 Atlas pizzas. All the guests enjoyed themselves and the service as top notch. Stephanie was great all night and continued to refill our drinks and ask how she could help. Hope to do something like this again soon! Thanks Columbos! read more

Columbo's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Clemson, South Carolina

I feel for the owner, you can see him working his tail off trying to meet the needs of the customer BUT the young lady taking orders and serving was horrible. Tonight we ate at a dirty table that the server told us was not cleaned. We had to ask for drinks multiple times and walk to get the one refill that we did get. I understand people having a bad day but we won't be back. Sad read more

Columbos has been in business in the Clemson area for many years, it has always had good food and service with good prices.

Had a bad experience here. Ordered delivery online, and it didn't come for over an hour and a half. Said completed so we went in person after a half hour of repeatedly calling to no avail. Staff was abrasive and called their delivery driver. Pizza had been delivered and when we returned it was not hot and the pizza was not great. In person might be a better experience but we were not happy with our order. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I walked in with a party 15 and told the waitress we had more people coming. She became instantly annoyed with us walking in. After we were seated, she came to each table and slammed everyone's fork on the table without any napkins. A few minutes later she came back with our napkins but became annoyed again when she dropped the rest of the napkins on the floor at the last table. Next she came back to take our drink selection and it was clear with her actions and the way she was speaking to everyone we was not welcomed. We decided to leave and as we were leaving she was over heard talking about everyone in my party with her coworkers stating we don't know how to act. Honestly this was my very 1st time at this restaurant and definitely will be my last. read more

Came on a Thursday at 12.. sat ourselves. Service was quick and we ordered a small cheese Styx, Italian sub which comes with chips and a pickle, and a medium deep dish combo. It was all good but the pizza is one of the best we've ever ate anywhere. They had a salad bar for extra $ we'll try that next time.. We will definitely be back!! read more

The pizza is wonderful! Price is good. Service is good. We enjoyed the salad bar as well. We went here for the pizza Buffett but when we got there was told they no longer have it. That was upsetting and we hope they get it back. read more

Have eaten at this place overtime and still think it is one of the best hot turkey subs. You will find out there. In general, their subs are great all around. We got takeout and the service was fine. Inside is a little rundown with a sad looking salad bar, but you go for the subs. Actually, their pizza is good too. read more

My husband and I go here when we are in the area. We love the pizza, salad and the spaghetti! The atmosphere is perfect! Staff Always so friendly! read more

Food is good Reasonable prices and service is quick. They have a great menu also .Easy to find and popular with students and workers also

The owner and staff is unfriendly. order never is on time. we have given them 3 chances. every time they fail. will not be back!

It's a clemson classic. Mark has been running columbo's since 1984. It has great prices and will bring back memories of 'Old Clemson'. Local gem if you are into pizza dives! read more

Great pie Love local dining Usually I order carry out. After 20 years, the unchanged decor in the place doesn't have the same feel as it used to. read more

We ordered on line last Saturday, one medium regular pizza and one small deep dish. As soon as the order was placed I got a pop up saying my receipt and notifications would be sent via email, and that the food would be ready at a certain time, so far so good. Last night, a full six-days later, I got the email saying my order was ready. When I viewed the receipt there was a line for "taxes & fees." As it turns out, I was charged $1.95 for website and mobile app fees. There was no prior notification of the charge. So, to be clear, Columbo's didn't have to pay anyone to take my order over the phone, and didn't have to provide a paper receipt, both of which saved them money. The mobile/website ordering process saves them money, yet they pass on fees to the customers, NOT a good business decision. On to the food, the regular crust pizza was good but not as good as it usually is from Columbo's, the crust was a bit underdone; it was an average pizza at best. The deep dish was very good. The garlic bread amounted to a buttered sub roll and we did not even eat it, I don't recommend ordering. All in all a less than par experience, from what is usually great food. We will give them another shot in the future, but if they drop the ball again, that will be it. read more

We are from Walhalla SC so Columbo's is about a 30 minute drive. Absolutely worth it. My family and I moved down from Grand Rapids MI and we haven't found anything close to the "Briazzo" from Big Bobs until we found this place. Incredible. The sauce is amazing. The stuffed Pizza is phenomenal. My parents took my son, and the server was incredibly kind and generous. Thank you to all the folks at Columbos!! read more

Better for takeout. The dining in kind of hole-in-the-wall feeling. but for basic hearty Italian and a great price- the knnock it out of the park. The dished are around $10 and you also get a salad and garlic bread. it's a good amouunt of food even of you are haingry! I took a star off because the several times I have been there- even though I went "When" the notification told me the food was ready- and I still had to wait. but all in all- if you are in the mood for italian, hungry and on a budget- it's still everything I remember from when I was in College ...WAY...back in the day! read more

Best basic pizza in Clemson. I've tried several in this town, but this place is the one I go to when I have a craving for pizza. Take it home as the restaurant looks like the owners DGAF. read more

They describe themselves as chicago style deep dish pizza. I have been to Chicago and had a deep dish pizza. This doesn't compare. It was okay tasting pizza, but nothing like Chicago deep dish. I was very disappointed. My wife ordered a large Greek salad. It was small and sad looking. read more

It's a little dingy inside, but don't let that fool you. We've been getting food from here for years, and love it. The pizzas are great...sauce is good, and they don't skimp on the cheese. The sandwiches are also very good. We usually take out, so it's been a while, but the salad bar is pretty good, too. The calzones have gotten smaller, but otherwise the food and portions are really good! A Clemson staple! read more

Undercooked food and lacks quality. My pizza was undercooked personally. The place is not clean

Honestly delicious. We got the cheesy bread and, MY GOD, it was heaven. My husband got a custom calzone and loved it. Not too much bread and had plenty stuffed inside it. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and it was everything that I could possibly have wanted. The meatballs were delicious and not dry! Next time we venture into the Clemson area, we will for sure be making another Columbo's stop. read more

I'm finally getting a taste of home This is true, authentic Chicago style stuffed pizza. The sauce is amazing! Not just bland tomato sauce but spiced to perfection. Thank you for a great dine in experience read more

Our pizza was very good We had it delivered to the Marriott came warm by kid with great personality

Have ordered from here three times and got something different. Everything I've ordered from baked pasta to a party size pizza has been right on point. Their prices are just right and they have always been on time. Best and most consistent spot in the area. read more

Ordered a deep dish special. Came out pale and undercooked. Asked them to cook longer but damage was done as dough couldn't cook because toppings had saturated it. Low quality mozzarella was like a rubber band even when warm. I asked for anchovies but only got an occasional salty bite so the weren't whole, perhaps chopped? I left the pizza minus one half eaten piece and it didn't trigger anything for the waitress. Seats are torn and stuffing is gone. This is a Clemson "institution" that anywhere else would just be a dump. read more

Really good pizza. Fast and they were able to react to a last minute add on with missing a beat. The house specialty pizza with fresh tomatoes was amazing! read more

When I think about the upstate of South Carolina the last thing I would think is good deep dish Chicago style pizza. Columbos has brought this import from the north and makes a fantastic Chicago pie. We had a large with pepperoni and extra cheese which may be one of the best pizza's we have had in this part of the state. Columbos also offers a 28 inch pizza. This is a favorite spot of the little league teams that play at the fields behind the restaurant. Apart from the pizza Columbos offers sandwiches, pasta, and a salad bar. The reason I gave this place three stars even though their food is terrific is that for one a restaurant must be undeniably perfect to gain five stars. What knocks Columbos from four is that the restrooms were dirty, moreso than your normal restaurant facility. That being said Columbos is still worth your dollar for one of the best Pizza restaurants in Anderson/Clemson. read more

Best pizza in the entire world. Gives a new meaning to pizza! With fantastic salad bar! An I have been a manager at dominos pizza for 4 years.- I'm giving a four star because the service is always bad. They stay super busy and only ever have two waitresses, we usually don't care, but ya it takes forever to get food and refills read more

Ok so your probably trying to decide if you'll eat here based on these reviews so here goes... we ordered dough nots and they were very good, we ordered 3 pizzas: two thin crust and one deep dish. The thin crust was not thin and crispy but rather it was what I consider regular crust 1/4" thick. Having said that it was good pizza anyway! The deep dish was really good and I'd probably choose that crust next time. We had pepperoni pizza, meat lovers and chicken & bacon. All were very good pizza. The waitress was very nice but she was alone so I had to go get our drink pitcher filled which was not a big deal as she was busy and had no help. Further our waitress gave us a special that we didn't know about that made our bill a little less. I really like it when a business helps you with price when they don't have to. 3 large pizzas, 2 dough nots, cheese bread and 6 drinks all for $40 was great deal. See photos and I would recommend dropping by it's really good food!!! If they hire one more waitress, I would give them 5 stars. read more

One of worst pizza's I've ever purchased. Use to be ok, certainly went downhill. Don't waste your money.

Columbos is pretty sick! They've alway got good deals going and they have great food. The buffet is nice and the atlas challenge is honestly one of the craziest foods I've seen in clemson. Go here for a good time with the family. read more

Lots to choose from on this menu...I had a calzone, which was very good. The people are friendly and the food is good...what more can you ask of this Clemson Institution?
