Connecticut Transplant here and this is the closest to NY pizza I have had in SC! EXCELLENT Almost every place I have tried has been lackluster at best. The cannolis are amazing also!

Quaint restaurant with about 10 tables. The pizza was true Brooklyn style. You have a choice of Neapolitan hand tossed or Sicilian thick crust. The sauce is very flavorful great taste. Thin crust has a nice crunch, the sausage tastes wonderful with hints Of fennel, the vegetables were fresh, too! The cannoli had a crispy shell and a very smooth and pleasantly sweet. Beer and wine is served. Great place very friendly people. They have take out and the place is busy! Support your local family owned restaurants! Bon apitito!

Food was AMAZING. I enjoyed my time here at Brooklyn Pizza. It felt like a real mom and pop pizza shop

Large Neopolitan pizza with Italian sausage, mushrooms and onion.

We visited Brooklyn Style Pizza for dinner last night and enjoyed everything about it. Our server, Eleanor (Ella, for short) was about as welcoming and friendly as she could be. We split the Brooklyn Salad, which was plenty for two and was really good. The fresh mozzarella on top made a big difference and the dressings (one of us had the vinaigrette and the other ranch - we think they were homemade?) were good. We each had a couple glasses of the house Chianti which was also good, but the best part was the pizza. We like thinner crust pizza and the Neapolitan may have been one of the best pizza crusts we've eaten. It's firm - you can hold a piece by the edge and it barely bends - but a bit chewy, as well, and thick enough to be substantial. The sauce was delicious and the toppings were very good. We like Italian sausage, mushroom and onion on our pizza and the sausage was the real deal. The restaurant itself was clean and simple, with some fun decor like the Brooklyn Bridge logo that's also on the front of the building. The 70's and 80's soft rock background music was a nice touch, too - at least for our generation! We were around long enough to meet the owners, Lisa and Hector, and it's apparent why this place is such high-quality and gets such good reviews. These folks are dedicated to a great food experience and it shows. We probably passed 5 or 6 pizza places on our way to Pendleton for this dinner, but we've found our pizza spot, and we'll make the drive for it!

GREAT thin crust pizza. Just the right amount of everything. Simple and delicious. Exactly my favorite style of pizza. Light and crisp.

Yum! I love this little place! It is never overly crowded, super clean, & the staff is always happy to help. Our waitress was Meghan and she always approached us with a smile & we never felt forgotten. The food is always hot & fresh and the portions are big. It's always a plus having a delicious meal again for lunch oh! They were out of fried mushrooms when we went but it's usually what we order, i would recommend!

The FAMOUS Sicilian!

If you want a pizza in a responsible time. Don't come here. 45 minutes+ for a cheese pizza! However, The pizza was good.

Unfortunately Rick Erwin's missed the mark on its primary assignment. The restaurant is nicely decorated in the style of a steakhouse. Dark wood paneling and shutters adorn the walls with pleasant dim lighting shining down from above. Service was strong with a team serving our table. We were greeted immediately and offered water and a drink. However, we were not offered bread, which is unusual for a steakhouse. Our appetizer of Buffalo Cauliflower was just ok. The breading had a subtle after-taste, which may have been from the batter being undercooked. And the buffalo sauce was not very prominent. So the dish was not as strong as I would have wanted. For our main course, we ordered the porterhouse for two--the signature dish at any steakhouse. Unfortunately, it fell short. When the steak arrived, it lacked the expected presentation; it had been grilled rather than broiled and was served without the usual butter or sizzling finish. That missing sizzle wasn't just visual--it showed in the flavor. A proper porterhouse should have a rich, salty, buttery finish, but this one was surprisingly bland. Just as disappointing, instead of being presented as the centerpiece of the table, the steak was served on a plate that we were apparently expected to eat directly from. It felt odd and took away from what should have been a standout experience. Overall, this was a below average experience for a steakhouse. We will try it again down the road since the choices near Clemson are limited. But Rick Erwin's should really revisit what it is trying to be and then decide how to be that.

I settled on a tuna sandwich on sourdough bread with French onion soup along with the passion papaya iced tea while hubby got the chicken sandwich with a small coke. The young lady behind the counter who took our order was so sweet, patient, friendly, and professional. She gave us a buzzer that would notify us that our order was ready. It appeared we were the only ones dining in but their pick up window was very active. This eatery is immaculately clean and brightly lit. There are a lot of tables and is tastefully decorated. The downside is that for being on a military base its prices are rather high; no military discount here. Despite being pricey ($44.00), we enjoyed our meals thoroughly. You can really taste the freshness & quality. My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I needed to get the soup to go. My sandwich was pretty big. Analisia got us the container & spoke with us for a bit. She's a sweet person & a true credit to Panera Bread. We would definitely return if on the base again. We'd like to try the flatbreads. We hope to run into Analisia again. She set the bar high in customer service.
