Late lunch, we arrived here at 3pm to a friendly welcome and a mostly empty restaurant. I was able to customize and order a pizza for Mrs. K. and I to share, the veggie (hot peppers, fresh tomato, mushroom, green peppers and feta cheese, hold the black olives) and it only took about ten minutes. Fresh and hot from the oven, it was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it very much. A little bit of parmesan sprinkled on top with some red pepper flakes and it really hit the spot. Had terrible service tonight. The app said my order was ready at the drive thru so I went to the window. The girl said mine was next to come out so could I pull around to the front of the place and she would text me when it was ready. I waited another 25 min and then called to see why I had not gotten a text. While I was on the phone I got the text. Got my food. Mind you this was 30 min after it said my order was ready. Drove the 10 min home and our order was cold!!! So it probably sat in the window for the whole freaking 25 min!! I was so pissed!!! read more

Best pizza in Anderson, but do not ever order on line. Three times now I have come in to pick it up at the designated time for them to tell me: I'm sorry, your order never printed out! We will get it ready ASAP!" So, the pizza is good, as are the subs. The Folks who work here seem to work hard too. Tech wise-- they have issues. Using the call in order works fairly well, however i would not recommend using the online system. We did and the online system showed the pizza was ready, and when we got there it was in fact just placed into the oven so we had to sit in the parking lot for approximately 10 minutes. Then when we got the text showing ready I went inside and after 7-8 min of no one helping me I asked for my pizza they directed me to the drive thru area and i stepped over and waited again with no help I stepped up and took my pizza and left. This is the first bad experience I've had. However, I would not recommend going on a Friday night unless you're going to dine in the service sucked. read more

Things are a mess since Helene. But I had a great experience at Guy's yesterday. Online ordering is super easy and their prices are very reasonable. I had a large order and they had it ready for me earlier than anticipated and the girl at the drive through was very friendly. I hope this was an exception and not a new rule. We moved to the area 1 yr ago and have always chosen Guys for our pizza because it was always so good. Today, not so much. We ordered the usual large pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. You could barely see the toppings and the cheese was almost non-existent. The service was good but we didn't get any notification that our order was ready as we have in the past. We will try one more time but if this is the result we won't go back, sadly. read more

Whilst the restaurant is unique and the dishes have an excellent flavor, the company has friendly forward staff, however the service is terrible, and the kitchen facilities are absolutely disgusting. The pizza quickly gets soggy if boxed, and falls apart with no chance of staying together. The pizza is pretty good, but the service is just horrible. Many times they won't answer the phone, which forces you to order on their app. That's fine normally.l, but not at Guy's. The problem with the app is that you don't know how long your pizza is going to take until you complete and pay for the order. I completed an order for pick up, then the app confirmation told me the pizza would be ready in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Having worked in a pizza joint as a teenager, I know it only takes a pizza about 10 minutes to cook, so my thought was there was an issue with the app or it had a wrong time zone or something. So I tried to call the restaurant, but nobody picked up. I decided to drive there to pick up the pizza and was then told it was going to be another 90 minutes as their app was accurate. You can't be expected to order a pizza at 6 o'clock and not eat it until almost 9 o'clock. More issues happened last night. We ordered the pizzas and it said they would be ready in 30 minutes. I drove to the store, arrived exactly on time, and the girl behind the counter said it was going to be another 10 minutes because they got "slammed". I looked around the restaurant, and there were two people waiting in the lobby, and no one seated at the tables. I looked on the warming rack and there was not a single pizza waiting to be picked up. I doubt very highly they were slammed. Anyways, I sat there, what's 10 minutes? 10 minutes goes by, no pizza. 20 minutes, no pizza. 30 minutes, no pizza. I ask a different girl behind the counter and she says that she's sorry. I said why does this always happen? She had no answer except another apology. Literally, the last four times we have ordered pizza from Guy's, it has been similar experiences. The best locally owned pizza company by far. Everything about this place is unique. The crust, the sauce, and the choice of specialty pizzas are unique to any other pizza restaurant in Anderson. I was spoiled in Indiana would a wood fired ven place that was incredible so I may judge a little harsh. Unfortunately the XL? (Seriously Xtra large) pizza i ordered was undercooked and doughy with a small crust. They could've thrown on a few more mushrooms on top. The sauce surprisingly was plentiful and good. They use the same flavorless chesse as all the chain stores. Nevermind it was cut into 12 slices. While this pizza is a step above Pizza Hutt, lil Ceasar or Domino's. Its taste compares along that line. Just that it'll cost ya more. Btw I also ordered a Chefs salad which was much to my surprise turned out to be Turkey sub sandwich Instead. Well, I'm not gonna lie. I work for a competitor pizza place in town and had to see what this place was about. Good hand tossed crust, not to thin and not to thick. not crispy but good. Sauce was not to spicy, topping average. Ordered a large pepperoni and 1/2 Italian sausage, was good. Large 2 topping and 2 drinks was $18 and change. Nice interior quiet, except for the kid watching paw patrol on his moms phone. Staff was polite and friendly, would I come back, yes but dont tell my boss. When we order pick up from Guy's we typically use the Pendleton location. However, due to us being out on Clemson Blvd. we happened to be closer to the 81 location. We called and placed our order and was told 30 minutes (which was fine). We arrived after 30 minutes and my husband went in to pick up our order. We ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes before our food is ready. The food was great, per usual. The time it took to get out food will make us never use this location again. read more

First try. Pretty good. There are 3 pizza joints less than 2 miles from each other. This is the best of those. I like that you can get personal size pizzas. It's a good way to try different specialties. The flavors were all good. I think the toppings should be smaller, especially the chicken if it's going on a smaller pie. We were excited about the chocolate chip pizza. It was half fantastic. It's like a soft, almost not done, buttery cookie dough on top of a thin pizza dough.
