This is a small pizza shop in the five forks area of Simpsonville. They have a few tables to sit down and a small bar area to eat at. Their pizza is delicious. We tried a large pepperoni. Stopped by Anthony's Pizzeria for a late lunch with my great niece. We ordered a medium pizza on a thin crust(1.79 extra for the thin crust) with pepperoni and ground beef. The medium pizza was a lot larger than some of the local chain pizza places( Papa Johns, Dominos and Romeos just to name a few). The crust though it was thin, wasn't the normal "cracker like crust", but it was thinner the their regular crust and it was tasty. The pizza was sliced into 8 pieces, we only ate 2 pieces each. The left over was for dinner. The only draw back was, the pizza did not taste as good reheated and the taste was off, I think it was from the to go box they use. I have to rate this restaurant honestly based on my experience. I ordered 2 slices (Sicilian style) around dinnertime. I asked for extra sauce and was told modifications couldn't be made. I was okay with that. I assumed the slices would taste hot and fresh (even if pre-made). They tasted old and lukewarm at best. The cheap price saved a 1 star, but if you offer slices for sale they need to be hot and fresh. The product I had was subpar. read more

I ordered this off of Uber so I can't comment on the ambience. The pie was cooked pretty quick and everything was good in the delivery. We had the supreme and it was very good. I ordered it with extra sauce and mozzarella, which I don't think was necessary as it kind of overwhelmed the pizza. There is a place on Facebook called Greenville foodies, it recommended this pizzeria. Being quite skeptical about places we were not familiar about we thought we would try it last weekend.The pizza was really delicious, and also the salads we ordered. The owner an Italian gentleman came to our table and asked if the food was enjoyable, we assured him it was, his daughter was working there and she was very charming. Apparently the owner had operated a business for 31 years before relocating to S.C.The menu also advertised an assortment of pasta, and a few other items. I highly recommend this place. First time trying this place. So I really didn't know what to expect. I ordered online. It said up to 25 minutes so I went around 15 minutes after I ordered in case. When I got to the counter the girl said it's only been 15 minutes since you ordered. (My bad some places are sooner) I said when should I come back and she said 10 minutes. So I left and came back after 10 . I sat another 3 minutes and my name was called. The wings were delicious. I got the hot wings to please the house. I got the Nashville? Hot on the side and it was hot but not like a buffalo flavor but still good. The kids devoured the cheese pizza and I liked it too. The spinach, feta, ham was my pick. It was very good not greasy; the crust was great. My only sadness was the flavor of the whole pizza was overpowered by the feta. I needed more sauce to balance. But I threw on some crushed peppers and it gave it that extra I needed. I would absolutely go back but dine in next time. read more

I've never gotten bad food or service here. If it's delivery, to go or sit down; the food and staff are always on point. As a midwestern transplant I've always sought out great prices for pizza and wings; and I do believe you cannot go wrong with this establishment. My children and I love the pizza, and I adore their hot wings. If we are nearby we take advantage of their fabulous lunch specials or we will get it delivered when a pizza craving is happening. Still the very best pizza around! The thin crust is our favorite, SO yummy, served piping hot, with sauce just spicy enough, plenty of cheese covering delicious ingredients. I don't know if this is all the time, but when I went in they had a deal for 2 slices and a drink for around $7 (with tax). I waited for 5 minutes and took it to-go, and in case you're wondering it does travel well! I had it about 15 minutes later and it was still warm and tasty. They are on Bite Squad, so it's perfect if you're looking for a delivery pizza fix without having to order a whole pizza! I have been here a couple of times and it has been fantastic both times. Today, we had pizza on our brains and this was the perfect place to quench the pepperoni thirst. The staff was friendly and polite. The place was clean and neat, but still had a little "hole in the wall" feel. I started with a cup of sweet tea. Perfectly sweetened, not over the top syrup, but plenty sweet for southern tea. Then to a nice side salad with ranch dressing. Pretty standard salad, but the dressing was great. Definitely mixed in house if not from scratch. We had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The crust was thin with a little crunch on the bottom. The mushrooms were fresh, not canned and the sauce had a very nice flavor. It was definitely not Ragu. The cheese was hot and stringy. When you took a bite, you had to be careful or all the cheese would come along for the ride. Had to bite carefully to break the cheese string. Overall great experience for a quick bite stop. We will take the long way home more often to stop by here. read more

I tried Anthony's for the first time this weekend. I'm a native New Yorker so I'm very critical about pizza. I had two pepperoni slices and some chicken wings. Both very very good. So, why just 3 stars. Because I was very disappointed that the restaurant is taking absolutely no precautions to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. They have a lot of employees behind the counter all working close together with no masks on at all. There were about 30-40 customers in the restaurant and I was the only person in the place wearing a mask (not that they're responsible for their customers). But I have no confidence that there was any sanitization occurring of counter tops, table tops or any other surfaces other than normal cleaning. South Carolina just experienced a record weekend of new Coronavirus cases and deaths this weekend (still low compared to other states but high for SC). I think businesses like this that are pretending that the pandemic is over are doing the community a disservice. The pizza is really good but I won't be returning until they put precautions in place or until this pandemic has TRULY passed. read more

Very good crust but needed a bit more sauce and to be cooked longer (very white). Good cheesecake but the cannoli filling was runny. Visited Anthony's twice. First time was for some baked ziti and I think mozzarella sticks. It wasn't memorable. I was looking for some brick oven pizza and saw that Anthony's was highly recommended. Decided to try the supreme. It was alright, probably could've gotten the same quality for cheaper elsewhere. Don't judge a book by its cover, Anthony's looks like any other strip mall pizzeria but that's where it ends, Anthony's is a top tier restaurant, I had read the other reviews and people raved about the place, honestly we were looking for a fine Italian restaurant it was Sunday, most were closed for Labor Day weekend now I am glad they were. The staff is excellent, friendly, not on cell phones, I think Mandy was our server but others came over to say hi, speaking of staff they had plenty, that tells me they are treated well. The restaurant is very clean and spacious, you can have a normal level conversation. Now the food and drink, great beer selection in a visible cooler so you can see all the brands, good wine selection, my lady asked for a sample of the Pinot Grigio and they accommodated her, she then got a glass of it. For dinner my lady got the chicken Gabriella, she couldn't believe the flavor, freshness and moistness, the angel hair pasta had olive oil and fresh garlic, outstanding. This has become my new favorite pizza place in the Upstate. My wife like a good white pie and hasn't been able to find one until now. It has a butter garlic sauce, plenty of garlic, and mozzarella cheese. She adds ricotta and calls it heaven. Me, I get the meat extravaganza. Plenty of toppings and the sauce is fantastic.
