Your Pie offers customizable toppings, made-to-order pizzas, all cooked quickly in a brick oven! This venue is right downtown on the edge of campus and I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. How does it set itself apart from other fast-casual pizza chains offering this same mode? There's a mini bar, variety of TVs, and--my personal choice--gelato! I also was happy to find they offer wings (although they're most likely the pre-breaded, semi-cooked variety; see picture). I witnessed the staff putting the wings in a circular, to-go tin and popping 'em in the pizza oven as well. While they took a bit longer than my pizza, I was content with the result. The only questionable offering--Buffalo Bacon Jalapeño sauce. While *everything* about that title makes me excited to douse my poultry, the tase is ...not what you'd expect. Getting to the restaurant is an event in itself, as it in the bottom floor back of the building, with very little signage. It seems it primary market, deservingly so are the students living in the surrounding buildings. We were in town for a Clemson campus tour and used Yelp to find Your Pie for late lunch/early dinner. There was nobody in line so it was easy to order. I like that they have the Coke machine with every Coke product imaginable...and the good ice! My sandwich was ok, it was a little bland but I was starving so I wolfed it down. I really like that this place has gluten-free pizza crust and other gluten-free options. Overall the pizzas were pretty good. Southern Heat was our favorite. The Linage pizza was good but my husband thought it wasn't as good as the Southern Heat. What I don't like is that a gluten-free pizza has a $4.60 surcharge. Yes, you will have to pay an extra four dollars for a gluten-free crust on a pizza that costs 8.99. And then a 15% gratuity is automatically added on so the $.60. The pizza is fairly priced if you don't want much toppings and there are many choices to fix YOUR pizza. The one problem is when you say add some bacon, you get a pinch. Ask for more and there's a sigh as another pinch is added. And still that's not the amount I expected, and it goes on and on for almost every topping I request. Frustrates me, so I ask my wife to go and order for me. She's more insistent to get what she knows I expect. So "service" isn't sighing, fake smiling, but I guess they are doing what management expects. Being in a college town, all the servers are young so I guess it's hard to instill a service with smile attitude. So, we aren't frequent customers but like their flavor which is one of the best pizza restaurants around, so we include it as a lunch item occasionally. We were in on a Friday night around 8pm. It was homecoming weekend for Clemson football and the town was exploding with people - students and parents and people from out of town. We drove around for 20 minutes trying to find a parking place downtown - an almost impossible task on any home game weekend, let alone homecoming. Considering the number of people they were having to accommodate, this was not that bad of a wait - it wasn't their fault they had a line out the door, and they did a good job handling the crowd. I got a pizza on a wheat crust with the pesto/basil sauce, red onions, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and spinach...mozzarella cheese. $7.99 My wife got a pizza on wheat crust with olive oil, green peppers, red onions, basil, and oregano...mozzarella cheese. $7.99 Note: Price for pizza is the same no matter how many toppings you get. We both added on the combo for $3.99 each which gets you either chips or a small side salad or a 2-scoop gelato AND a drink. ($7.98) Our total bill was $26.12, tax and all. Tipping is optional since this is mainly a self-serve type of setup. You get your own drinks, napkins, condiments, utensils, everything. The pizza was VERY GOOD. Fresh toppings, fresh dough, great pizza - the perfect amount for one person, enough to share if you are a light eater. The gelato was also VERY GOOD. We had salted caramel and banana pudding. Yum. The unsweetened tea was VERY GOOD. Light and fresh. The employees were all upbeat and positive, busy, productive, and patient and helpful despite how slammed they were. The facility was clean and well lit - - a welcoming decor. We have definitely discovered a new pizza place to visit, and we will go again. I came in to Your Pie the week of the grand opening. They were offering a trial run with complimentary pizzas and encouraging donations to a Clemson charity. Right off the bat, great way to open up your business. This gives employees a chance to master their craft and gives back to the community. My friends and I signed up online to take part in this trial run. Restaurant is well finished definitely a sharp, brand new space. Lots of TVs in the dining area. You get in line for a build your own pizza/panini/salad. First you pick your crust type and then as many toppings as you would like. They put the the pizza in a brick oven and cook it while you pay. Only takes a few minutes for the pizza to cook and they deliver it to your seat. Pizza is good quality and plenty of food for 1 person. I had a pesto sauce which was great. Lots of vegetable toppings. Meat toppings were good but weren't very "natural". For the price of $7.99 it's a great deal though. This is "fast food" pizza at its finest. They also have gelato and craft beer on tap. I tried the tiramisu gelato which was surprisingly delicious. 1 scoop was $1.49. They had some good crafts on tap from the southeast.
