Mama Mia Pizzeria - Pizza Near Me - Pelzer, South Carolina

Casual atmosphere and friendly staff. All four of us enjoyed our tasty meals. We had pizza, a chicken Parmesan dinner and a steak combo sub. The staff went above and beyond when one of my friends ordered a different meal than she intended. It wasn't their mistake, but they immediately offered and corrected it, by bringing her an extra plate of sautéed vegetables to add to her sandwich for no additional charge. This type of customer service demonstrates notable care and attention to detail. read more

Moving here recently from the west coast, I want to express my love of the people in Pelzer. Their genuine hospitality is enhanced by the amazing tantalizing home cooked pizza that leaves my kids coming back for more. I love that I'm helping a local business. So if you're looking for a Friday night, treat for your family that doesn't break the bank, is healthy, nourishing, and invest in the future Pelzer, you need look no further than Mama Mia. I have shopped at some of the other chain pizza places, and there's just no comparison. read more

The spaghetti was really good and pizza was good and the calzone was full of meat which I like. The service was excellent and the workers were nice. It was a small quaint restaurant and clean. read more

I will admit that the sole reason for us stopping in was that we were driving a 30' RV, and besides the Tanning Salon/Thrift Shop (Yes, two in one), the rest of the plaza was pretty much deserted. Parking was not an issue. We really did not expect much from a random place in the middle of nowhere (to us...no disrespect to the great folks of South Carolina). Surprisingly, this place was pretty legit. We ordered a bunch of the Lunch specials for $7, that included drinks. We had a Stromboli, small pie, and wings. Everything was good. The wings a bit lean and dry, but not bad. Prices were also good. The Stromboli was packed and the pies made fresh. Service was also great. read more

I have had Stromboli from here before and they were good but this time it looked like a newbie made it, it wasn't even sealed on the side properly completely misshapen and the filling was falling out on the side. it seems like this place is going downhill very quickly and I doubt that I will be ordering from here again. I think I was in this place once before and there was a fly bothering me the whole time read more

Pizza is great, but REALLY liked the fried ravioli. Friendly staff and lucky to have this place here in town.

Best pizza in williamston and Pelzer. Best subs in williamston or Pelzer. Try the meatball or house pizza. Staff is super nice and helpful. More expensive than little Cesar's but definitely worth it. This is the best pizza and subs in town. read more

With Pelzer being such a small community and lacking restaurants, Mama Mia's is a nice surprise. And the only delievered place in town. I have visited Mama Mia's several times for just a pizza and salad. Tonight I decided to switch up my order and put them to the test. And they passed with flying colors! The wings are amazing. And I love my wings! The spicy wings were just the right amount of flavor. I know it isn't hard to mess up an Antipasta Salad but this kicks my tastebuds into high gear! This will be a regular treat for me. The pizzas are pretty standard but has a great taste. There are a few specialty options but overall the pizza beats the local competitors. My favorite has to be the Stromboli. Who doesn't love meat, veggies and cheese wrapped up in the best dough cooked to perfection topped with butter and cheese. My thighs will hate me later but as for now I'm currently enjoying my chicken Stromboli as I type this review. This place is quick when it comes to delieveries. Food is always delieveried in a timely manner and is always hot and fresh. My only suggestion is that when you order drinks....please specify if you want a 20 oz fountain drink or a 2 liter drink. Granted I though I was paying $1.75 (each) for 2 fountain drinks but needed up with two 2 liter sprites for $2.50 each. Not really a bad deal, just wasn't what I was expecting initially. Mama Mia's is located in what used to be a popular shopping center in Pelzer. Not much going on in the area now besides Mama's but if you blink you'll drive right past it. If you are ever lucky enough to be in the area, stop in for some amazing food and service. The workers are guaranteed to put a smile on your face while filling up your belly! read more

Pizza had no flavor. Cheese was rubbery and vegetables were frozen not fresh. How hard is it to chop peppers and onions?

Great pizza and quick service, don't be afraid of looks of parking lot. Lunch special is 5 bucks can't go wrong.

I have lived in Pelzer for a couple of years now and I can say Momma Mia's has the best pizza in my opinion they have the best chicken bacon ranch pizzas with tomatoes.. and the service and staff are very nice. I would recommend that you stop in and give it a try you want be disappointed. read more
