The quality of their work was exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with my new windows. They look amazing! This was a stellar experience from beginning to end!…read more We spoke with Amanda Rodriguez over two different visits and she could not have been friendlier or more knowledgeable. We had tons of questions and decisions about what best matched the original look of the windows from our 1939 house. We finally decided on what windows we wanted replaced and put down a deposit. A second team member came out weeks later to confirm the measurements. And some weeks after that, the installation team of Juan and Erik came out to do the install. (They even started by doing the measurements a third time to make sure everything was correct! And it was.) They had told us that the job might take the whole day, but they carefully removed the old ones, installed the new ones and cleaned up afterward in only about six hours. It was a flawless experience. Everyone we dealt with was extremely kind, warm and knowledgable. And the new windows look stunning - while still matching the look of the almost 90-year old home. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

I also want to thank Martha who got me a very quick appointment and they were able to replace my door in a couple of days.

There are LOTS of doors on display so Enrique Marquez, sales rep, explained the various options and details to us. After that he let us wander around and peruse on our own, no pressure, just let us know where he would be when we needed him. Once we narrowed our choices down he walked us through the inventory and the available options and timelines for in stock and custom orders. Enrique told us how to measure our doorways, so we did that when we got home and emailed him the info. He had CAD drawings prepared from the info and sent them to us for approval. The invoices and payments were also handled online. Enrique walked us through the entire process. Anytime I had a question or issue he was right there to help out. Even during installation. We ended up ordering an in stock and custom door (due to odd size). For the in stock door, I received a call to schedule installation immediately! The lady that called said she likes to schedule them as soon as she receives the order and she wasn't lying. We scheduled installation for 5 weeks out, which is reasonable. Then 1 week later, on a Friday, she called back and asked if they could install on Monday. I said Yes! The installation team, Vahe and Ahot, showed up on Monday as scheduled and did an absolutely FANTASTIC job!! The door looks soooooo good!! They communicated well, also noticed that the lock was missing on the order and helped me get that corrected with Enrique. They were very respectful of keeping the area clean, making sure everything was clean and all trash/debris removed when they left. Everyone at Universal Iron Doors has been awesome to work with and I look forward to receiving my custom door.

And then we met Braulio Perez. He is not only an expert at laying tile that he also renovated our hole kitchen. He's very picky who he subs things out like electricity. He is very professional. He works very, clean. Never does he leave a mess behind. He can find a solution for almost anything. I had actually already ordered the tile for all of our flooring and had ordered way too much. He found the solution by expanding where we were going to put the tile. The results were phenomenal. Of course I had ordered the most expensive tile that was 6 in by 4 ft. Which means it's very expensive to install because everything has to be perfect and everything has to be even and balanced. I can honestly tell you when I vacuum my tile floor there's no clicking in the vacuum cleaner. It's very smooth. It's almost like it's flat concrete. People often think that my floors are actually wood because they look like wood planks and have very little grout. I have to tell you he is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to his finish work. He is second to none. He's not the least expensive, but he's also not the most expensive. He's right there in that sweet spot where you feel confident in him, but you don't feel like he's taking advantage of you. I have recommended him to several people I know personally and they are also very pleased. He only recently joined Yelp, which is why I have never given him a Yelp review until now. I was so excited when I found out I could do this. Since our renovation he has also come back and done little things for us. He installed a bidet toilet seat that is heated and has water to wash your bottom. I love it! I would have never made it through the recovery from my shoulder surgery without it. He is one of the most kind people that I think I've ever met. My husband and I both highly recommend him. I almost forgot he even corrected our gas hookup to our stove. It was not in code at all and he corrected that. The people who built this house didn't even do it right. So I'm so grateful to him. I will add pictures at a later date. I just wanted to get this posted.
