This place is a fairly good hidden gem. The portions are pretty good. I was very surprised and came here as a recommendation from somebody on a dining page on Facebook. Super glad that we did. The food was flavorful we were able to share an entrée together, and got some garlic bread to boot. Affordable prices to.

Menu they mailed me

We live in the area and have ordered many times always happy. I have been ordering the same thing everytime for the family. Using the menu they mailed to my house and the coupons provided #2 which is 2 pizza's with breadsticks for $14.49 plus tax and the guy on the phone says he will not honor his menu and offered me a deal that was not even close to that! He then goes on about its not his menu yet its the number I called that he answered lol...wtf guy What a pos to be an owner and not even take responsibility for his own menu and coupons! MILL CITY PIZZA HAS WAY BETTER FOOD AND DEALS

Greek pizza...not Italian.....just so you know....not that there's anything wrong with that....but just so you know. I ordered an Italian sub and a slice of cheese pizza. The pizza was.....well....Greek pizza. They put their subs in the oven before adding the toppings...a different concept I guess, but the cold cuts come out of the oven with a certain funk...like they came through a time machine and someone forgot to remove a dish of grease from the portal....a la "The Fly". I'm glad this place has some good reviews as the people were VERY nice that work here...but that isn't enough to ever bring me back.

The only reason I am not giving five stars is because I personally didn't LOVE the food, I just found it to be ok, but the friends I was with all loved it. I am sensitive to things being too cheesy or fatty and i found some of the dishes to be too oily, so it's just a personal preference thing. I'd absolutely come back here and try other things on their menu. The manager was also super sweet and our waiter doubled as our photographer lol. The citrus honey torta for dessert was divine. The portions were huge for everything I took a lot home. The truffled eggplant appetizer was good but the truffle oil addition was too much for me on top of all the melted cheese and burrata. It was still good tho. They were accommodating to dietary restrictions and I got the lumache à la vodka without the pancetta. It was good but tbh I prefer the Cheesecake Factory's spicy vodka sauce next door. The breadsticks I had never seen before, they were like thin flatbread slices with garlic butter. I am a huge lover of garlic bread but I found these to be way too oily too, so that's been the general theme for me, tone down the oil a bit, but otherwise excellent concept and ambience. All in all it was a great experience and I would do it again. I believe we caught the last weekend (for now at least) of the flora's corner experience but I would come back here on a regular day and try other items on the menu.

As someone who loves dining out--and who's Italian and has been fortunate enough to visit Italy…read moremany times--this was the meal of the year. I honestly can't think of another restaurant that captures the essence of Northern Italian cuisine at this level. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional. My advice: go family-style so you can share and experience as much of the menu as possible. The tortellini was outstanding, the pasta with the brandy cream sauce was unforgettable, and the short rib was absolutely phenomenal. Not a single dish missed, and there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again. To top it all off, the chef came over to our table at the end of the meal to say hello--a thoughtful touch that made an already incredible experience even more memorable. I would put this restaurant up against anything I've had in Italy, and without question, it's the best Italian restaurant in the Boston area. The most surprising part? It's in Woburn, not the North End. 10/10. An unforgettable dining experience

Short rib with risotto also not hot, and I suspect was microwaved after a service snafu. Social media will lead you to believe that all of the pasta is homemade, but notably only one option - the fettuccini - was marked as homemade on the menu.

Turns out it wasn't bad at all, the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. The real star though of course, is the food. We started with bruschetta that had olives and cheese and also the fresh fig carpaccio. Both were amazing- the bruschetta topping punched you in the best way with flavor, and the fig carpaccio was so delicate with sweet, salty, cheesy flavor. Next we ordered gnocci with a sausage ragu, linguine with a Gorgonzola orange cream and then pasta puttanesca. We were in heaven! The pasta and gnocci were light and perfectly cooked. The sauces excellent. I also ordered a side of grilled shrimp with my Gorgonzola pasta and it also had grilled radicchio which was the perfect bitter to cut the rich cream. Dessert was apple cider Bundt cake and three mini cannolis, all were delicious. The staff was helpful when we had questions, and we will absolutely be back!

It took only a few seconds for me to pinpoint the exact item on the menu that my stomach was craving and my eyes fixed upon...Antipasto for an appetiser and chicken Marsala for the entree. The antipasto dish arrived very quickly and was a beautiful layout. Of course I desired to save some room for the entree but ended up eating about 3/4 of the appetiser before it arrived. The chicken marsala was absolutely perfect, still steaming on the plate as she placed it before me. I told myself I would only eat half the dish and take the rest back to my hotel for snacking later. However, my taste buds are not allow me to stop feasting on this Italian delicacy. If you're ever in the area, don't worry about the other Italian restaurants in the downtown, although I am sure that they are well and good, but Giacomo's is well worth your consideration.
