Bella Pizza in Bethlehem Twp., PA has recently had a major staff change resulting in a better experience and the food has vastly improved with very many new options that are wonderful. With the recent remodeling the restaurant looks great and has recently added many different drinks & coffee. However, the female delivery driver who is known to ask for a tip upon making a delivery, should be replaced immediately. With a staff member doing an act such as this will destroy any relationship that the business and customer had and will most likely result in the customer never calling for future service. Any business that employs delivery driver/s has the unique opportunity to offer any special promotions on the spot to the customer when making their delivery. With this capability alone, makes deliveries worth while not only for the business owner but a wonderful opportunity to develope future relationships with the customer for future purchases and deliveries. They used to provide great food and service, now all they deliver is cold soggy food and they are never on time.

Ordered pizza with half onion/green peppers, and chicken fingers and fries on Sunday. Everything was cold. The pizza cheese was congealed like it was lying around all day, the green peppers were raw and cold as if someone just threw them on top. Chicken fingers and fries cold. We heated up some of the food but ended up throwing it out. Awful. The food we ordered for guests earlier in the week was very good. read more

I've always loved this place and have recommended them for years but recently their quality has clearly gone downhill, which is unfortunate. The girl who answers and takes orders has no knowledge of the menu and is not helpful. Due to a family member's recent gluten allergy, we've ordered the gluten free pie a few times. Sometimes they offer two sizes, other times they claim there's only one size. Every single time we order, it is a different size and the crust always looks different. Their regular pizzas have also started to be inconsistent between the dough and amount of cheese. They used to look and taste high quality, but not anymore. It's not worth what you pay. I don't plan to make this my one stop pizza place anymore, and don't recommend it. Further Update: Immediately after posting this review the owner called me on my personal cell phone (which he had from when I called to place the order and he indicated he watched the camera and that's how he got my number...CREEPY) asking me to take the review down. Now, a couple months later, I've received ANOTHER call/voicemail in the middle of the work day asking for me to give them another chance and telling me he fired one of his employees because she was rude to me? If I could give negative stars, I would there pizza is pretty good but I thought I'd give a cheesesteak a try and boy that was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made for almost $12. There wasn't even enough meat to make the whole sandwich they used about what would make half of the sandwich for the whole thing and it had no flavor. Even the sauce had no flavor. There was no onions in it hardly and the cheese was terrible, you could get a better cheesesteak anywhere even at Wawa and it would be much better than this garbage they're using very low quality ingredients to try to save money and not making a quality product. Very disappointed and will not be returning back. I'm 100% Italian from Sicily and I know what's good and what's not this definitely ranks one of the worst that's the problem. There's so many pizza places that pop up like crazy and there pretty much all crap , they're a dime a dozen, everybody thinks they could just open up a pizza place and make pizza and it's so easy. It definitely is not that easy. Only reason I would go here. If ever again is maybe their pizza it's definitely not bad but I've had a lot better. read more

Always love Bella pizza when I come home to Bethlehem. We ordered a few pies and two meals (chicken parmigiana and chicken francaise) for delivery. All meals were delicious and the chicken dinner came with pasta and a side salad. We had several alterations to our order and there were surprisingly no errors. We were able to do a contact-free delivery and saw that the driver was wearing gloves and a mask. These days, you can really count on their product. The pizza is strong all the way through, from plain, to white, consistently-cooked, with high quality cheese and sauce, and their toppings are top notch. I've been ordering from this restaurant since it opened. In recent years the customer service and delivery has gone down. Most places deliver your order within 40 minutes, if not sooner. This place takes over an hour. How long do we have to wait for a pizza or sandwich to be made and delivered? My real issue with them is the attitude and the arrogance of they just don't care. Love this place. So authentic compared to other pizza shops in the area. Love that they have family at the counter and in back working. My kids LOVE the pizza. Always cooked to perfection. Mozzarella sticks are amazing. Husband loves the chicken cheesesteak and I love the original cheese steak. Bread is always fresh and ingredients as well. Girl that answers the phone I believe is owners daughter and she is sweet and very attentive when taking my order. Everything always comes out great. Used to be frequent customers until tonight we ordered a calzone and was delivered a pizza. (Usually the language barrier on their part has been difficult, but "workable"). When I called to re-order the calzone, they insisted that I ordered a pizza! We took the pizza back to them and was told "to get a calzone we'd have to pay for both because we screwed the order up". Upon refusal to do pay double, no calzone & no refund, the pizza now on the floor of their restaurant - the guy refusing, follows my husband outside & threatens to kick his ass. Really? We would've been ok with an acknowledgement of a misunderstanding, but this was taken WAY too far!!! First time today personally ordering from here and I will NOT patronize this business again. Called in a pick order for one pizza and gave all the information to the gentleman on the phone, he repeated my order and name and said 10 minutes to come pick up. I got there from across town in 15 minutes and spoke to the women at the counter that I was there to pick up my order. After telling her what it was she said NO we don't have it. I asked why and she said you didn't order here and I responded by telling her I did. The man making the food came from the back and said NO we don't have your order. Recognizing his voice from taking my order over the phone I said to him I just placed the order 15 minutes ago and talked to you. He walked away and a younger man came to the counter saying you didn't order from here and I showed him on my phone that I did and the time of the call. He responded again you didn't call here and without any knowledge of their mistake he said I can make another which I would've excepted until he started laughing that they thought I messed up. Some of the delivery people,(NOT JACK), fail to hold dinners on the horizontal plane, (holding it from the top), and on three occasions my food leaked out of the bag. Please read our very poor experience with Bella's Pizza. I placed an order for delivery, gave my address which was in Allentown and was told that my food would be delivered in 30-40 minutes. 20 minutes later I received a call saying that they only deliver in a 5 mile radius and my order would be cancelled. I was frustrated but understood. When we called to make sure that my credit card would not be charged, the person who answered gave us noticeable attitude and told us we should have looked at the menu better and after a brief conversation hung up on us. When we called back, the same individual said "I don't have time for this" and hung up the phone again. Finally we called back a third time and a new individual answered the phone. This second individual was more polite as we explained our situation to him. He offered to drive us our order and tried to rectify the situation. This was much appreciated although we did turn down the offer. While we did appreciate the efforts by this second individual it was the actions and attitude of the first that sticks with us. We will think twice before using this pizza place again. read more

If I could have given zero stars I would have! We waited an hour for our food which was just warm in temp, then we did t even get our two liter of soda. The driver said "they didn't give it to her@ so clearly they don't communicate with each other well...then she said she would be right back with it and now it's been another half or so since she left. I called the store they didn't even apologize and said she'd be here "shortly" but couldn't give me an exact time saying "well at least you'll get your soda"! This was our first time using this place and it will be our last. I CANNOT stress enough not to go here for delivery (like we did) or whatever your needs. read more

First time trying out this place. Although the phone and delivery staff are very friendly, I had a different experience when I tried to return my full, uneaten pizza and refund my money when I found a hair that was baked into the pie. After being accused of planting the hair myself, I was offered another pie. I declined stating I would never eat there again. As I was not going to get my $14.86 back for the pie, I chalked it up to a loss and an online review for anyone who cares. As I was leaving, the man I had been dealing with (I assume he is the owner) followed me out of the restaurant and took down my license plate number. I understand that somethings things happen but how a business recovers to keep its customers happy is an important part of being successful. read more
