There are many, many more in the area I need to try still...but Nicolosi's in Phillipsburg is absolutely at the top of my list for Sicilian slice now. They didn't have a pie made so I ordered a half. Good thing I did, no way I would have settled for only one slice anyway. Solid tasting sauce, they must be using Grande cheese, crispy crust with airy interior, the dough had good flavor ... just an overall Winner. This was closest to the Sicilian pies of my youth in Brooklyn than anywhere else I've tried out this way so far. Not saying that alone means it's better...just saying that is what I know and am used to so it hit a comfort spot for me for sure. Check them out if you haven't already. I'm so glad this little pizzeria is still open and rocking! I ate here 2-3 times a week whilst I worked at Orr's Department store in the Hillcrest Mall late 1980s. Back at the Hillcrest mall in Phillipsburg, NJ for that awesome, old style pizza. It's offers simple menu with Neapolitan and Sicilian as the choices, some common toppings plus some basic drinks. So when the recipe works for 60 years, no need to change it. We ordered a few slices of Sicilian and a whole cheese pizza pie for the perfect way to satisfy our hunger and it did it disappoint one bit. And the rockstar pizza maker who made the BEST Sicilian I've had in a long while, LOGAN, was on pointe with the depth of dough, the sauce and cheese balance. Anybody can make a pizza but using the best trifecta ingredients: dough, cheese and sauce reigns supreme here. The Grand cheese is unlike what's. or ally in pizzas we've eaten and notice the difference. Great stuff. Place is cash only, ATM on site. All I can say is the best pizza around. As I am from Virginia, any time I visit family in Jersey this place is a MUST. Truly a hidden gem.

This is the real deal-quality NY pizza! When our family visits from the West Coast, we always make sure to pick up pizza from Nicolosi's! Our friends and family in the area agree and always order their pizza from here! Delicious sauce in just the right portion, with the perfect crust and plentiful cheese. FYI: They don't sell salads or other entrees. It's tucked in the back of a shopping and business complex. You can eat in or take out. But call them in person for orders. Last time I was there, they did not deliver or utilize delivery services. The inside is no frills, but clean and comfortable. The location in Easton PA is NOT owned by the same people. I went with a standard plain slice, as there wasn't much selection at the time I decided to stop by. The slice was greasy but had a good cheese to sauce ratio, both of which were tasty. The base and crust were the right amounts of crispy. I can speak from many years of experience. Nicolosi's Pizza is the best pizza in the nation! I travel back home to P'burg, NJ a few times a year and won't get pizza anywhere else. I read their reviews on Yelp and chose them over the others because they basically had the best reviews. What I found - this pizzeria is legit. Old school, classic pizza. Man feels like I'm back on Arthur Ave. Got a large cheese pizza - cheese has that perfect salty bite with a sauce that has just a bit of sweetness that compliments the savory flavor perfectly. Nice, thin crust... you can tell a good pizza by its fold. Trust me - Nicolosi's is real deal. Glad we stopped in. Not only is the pizza good but the customer service is nice.
