We were desperately seeking lunch, and Yelp's directions had already gotten us good and lost trying to find Rath's Deli. We pulled into an unassuming shopping plaza to fight with the GPS, when Frank's hove into view. When I moved to Virginia 25 years ago, I had resigned myself to a lifetime of mediocre pizza. Fortunately, Frank's has now set me up for a year or two. I got a slice of Buffalo Chicken pizza, a slice of mushroom, and a bottle of root beer. My Bride got two slices of chicken fajita pizza. She said hers was good- lots of veggies. Mine was pretty much perfect. That crispy, yeasty crust that makes cherubs sing! Big, meaty mushrooms! Spicy chicken! Grease running down my hand! I have eaten at Franks Trattoria in Phillipsburg 3 times in the last few weeks. Each time was a true pleasure. The California Chicken Cheese Steak was out of this world. It had a full breast worth or more of tender White meat. The Specialty Pizzas are also spectacular and are clearly made with Gourmet ingredients. The staff also treated me with kindness and professionalism. They truly know how to show appreciation to their customers which is kind of rare these days. read more

Such a waste of money We honestly would have been happier heating up a frozen Ellio's pizza. I spent nearly $40 on 2 sandwiches and a side of fries. My husbands meatball sandwich came without cheese and my chicken cheesesteak didn't come with peppers or onions - my sandwich was literally just a small portion of chicken and cheese with a ton of bread and it was soooo bland! Delicious hot and fresh! We ordered online and our food was ready within 15-20 minutes. Portions are good for the price. The chicken parmigiana was great. Angel hair and spinach were delicious sides. Save your time and money What was once a very reliable before movie place to eat, is no more. The server was excellent. Very nice girl, took my order and even repeated back. Minestrone soup ~~ tasted like any typical over salted soup. Angel Hair Arrabbiata ~~ just plain awful. First of all, the server clarified Angel Hair 2x and wrote it down in the most legible print, and the kitchen screwed up and sent out penne. I had a movie to catch so didn't have time to send back and wait another 20-minutes. I have had this dish all over east coast and EU and never did it come out so chunky. I get this at Franks in Clinton often and it's amazing, but not here. It was so chunky that I had to pick out the penne and over 1/2 the dish was left because of chunky faux arrabbiata attempt. My friend called so had to add a side of meatballs with mozzarella. My server was busy so I asked a different server. When my friends dish came, there was 1 meatball. My regular server took away to correct but since when does it take 10 minutes to come back with 3 meatballs that should already be made and just waiting to be dipped in sauce and topped with cheese. Go to pay, and after the counter girl swipes my card I see the notice stating that the menu is cash prices and credit cards will be charged 3.85% ~~ wth? A heads up would have been nice. Super shady way to end my dinner. Could have, should have , would have eaten somewhere else had I known this place had gone down hill. read more

Told the guy on the phone there is a buzzer to get in the building, but he didn't want any part of it and said the driver will call instead. Driver never called. After waiting about an hour, the driver couldn't figure out which door the order belonged to, even though the doors are clearly marked. After a while, he figures out the correct door to approach... THE COLD PIZZA HAS ARRIVED! And instead of calling like the driver was supposed to, he *knocks* on the common door like it's someone's regular front door. Really? Oh, and the driver spoke Martian, so nobody understood a word he was saying. Another time we called for delivery from Frank's, a different delivery guy decided buzzing everyone in the complex was a good idea (even though we said which buzzer to specifically press). Neighbors weren't too happy. Seems this particular Frank's Trattoria doesn't know how to 1) take proper instructions, and 2) convey those proper instructions to their delivery people. However, I had ordered food for my family and the delivery driver was very rude and upset she had to get out of the car and bring the food to my door (which she still didn't do) I had to meet her down the block because she refused to come and said "you want me to come haha just wait) all of our food was destroyed, soda bottles all shaken, and if that wasn't enough there was spit on my chicken parm sandwich. I have small children who now not only have no dinner but also could have eaten someone's foul spit. This is unacceptable. I called the restaurant only to be told they would replace the food but the same driver would be delivering. So I refused the food and was told no refunds. First time customer. Called in a Franks special large pie for pickup. I arrived at the time they gave me, just behind another pick-up customer. The two men behind the counter completely ignore us both. Then another man comes in who just wants a slice, gives up, he leaves. The delivery men come and go twice. Four people now in line to pick-up. Now 18 minutes after the woman in front of me came in, she gets her order. I now wait another 4 minutes to get my pizza which has been sitting on top of the ovens. No apology, just $19.45 for my pizza, which on getting home is quite cool, and quite soggy. Never never again, Dominos may not be the greatest pizza, but you get it fast and hot. Since revised my opinion on Dominos at least in Stewartsville. Damn they take sucking to a whole nother level! They are complete morons and since it's a franchise, corporate offices did nothing. The very last time I ordered, the bill came out to over 40 dollars for an order of mozzarella sticks and a large two topping pie. He brought over the menus, an then we waited. Ten minutes later I saw the young man and said, "can I give you my order?" Horrible experience - I'm not one to go out of my way to leave a negative review but they earned it. I ordered 2 salads and a cheesesteak online around 6pm. Their website said it would be ready around 6:30. I get there right at 6:30, maybe a few mins after, tell the person what I had ordered and the order number. They check something and tell me it'll be ready in a few mins. No worries, I notice a few others waiting and am in no hurry.
