The food is always delicious and large portions. Since Covid they charge a lot more and charge extra for credit transactions, but the food is still delicious. Oh, the side salads are much smaller than they used to be. Seems family owned so they close Sunday and Monday. read more

Just walked out five mins ago. Came in to order a pie, and the waitress/ bartender was talking with two other customers, about something sports related on TV. I stood there for a few min, she glanced once at me and said nothing, but continued to talk about what was on the TV. When I began to walk out she said can I help you?. We order alot from La Bella but last night we ordered 2 pizzas .. plain cheese and pepperoni with anchovy's . Of course my luck the plain cheese was so burnt and blackened on the bottom I ended up only eating the cheese .. First let me say, I'm a pizza snob from NJ. This pizza made me genuinely happy, like to my core. It touched my soul. The garlic knots were perfect. Testimony on the quality of their catering only! I've never been here but friends who are huge fans brought us a variety of dishes for an event. The food was EXCELLENT. Ziti was cheesy and overeat yummy. The veggie calzone was kid-yourself it's healthy delicious. The roll of Cheesesteaks are always soggy and wet They should strain the meat before adding the cheese and other stuff. Good just soggy rolls My girlfriend eats hers with a knife and fork, this is a sin in the world of food goes. Other places aren't as tasty but I opt for the others solely because I know I can pick them up and eat without having to basically grab meat, sauce, cheese and wet bread and shove it into my mouth whilst the juice from the meat runs down my hand. I don't know why it's taken me this long to review La Bella. I know that when I'm looking for a new restaurant I go to Yelp and read reviews. And I love to write reviews of the new places I've tried. Meanwhile those that I have been going to and love for over 30 years remain unmentioned. Case in point...LaBella. I love the food, the friendly staff and the overall comfort of a neighborhood restaurant. What inspired me to write this review is my husband just left to get take out there. He loves their shrimp ditalini. Little tubes of pasta, small shrimp in a creamy pink sauce. I love their pizza, tuna subs, cheese steaks, and Strombolis. And they fill up a glass of wine. No two gulps and it's gone. Hubby just got back with our dinner. Do yourself a favor and try La Bella. Yum! read more

La Bella is a nice establishment. Beautiful on the outside and nice on the inside. We were greeted and asked to pick our seat. A waitress quickly came over and we told her our order. We ordered a large pizza with garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was good in flavor and in size! The real star here are their garlic knots. They're not super oily like a lot of italian places make them. The oil used has such great flavor! They use real minced garlic and I'm thinking basil was in it. It was delicious!! We will likely be coming back very soon! read more

Very good food! I have had many dishes (love the eggplant, rigatoni) from here including a very decent pizza (some can't do both) and I want to try everything they have. Sauce is a little sweet for me but won't deter me. We usually get take out but have dined in and service is always consistently good. Place is clean, limited parking but we usually find a spot. Finally, a down to earth Italian restaurant that is all about the food and the customer. Lived in the LV since '95, only found them two months ago and have been there four times since. Still a lot to try, but the spaghetti and meatballs (3 REAL meatballs, not cocktail meatballs) is the best I've had since moving here. The chicken is always juicy and tender, whether entree or sandwich. And, they know what they are doing with garlic, just the right amount, without the overload that seems to plague most area Italian restaurants. Great pepperpot and pasta e fagioli too. And the service has been great, very friendly and welcoming. Always, "Come on in, sit wherever you like." The only things missing are spumoni, home made meat ravs, Dino and Frank. I've been here a handful of times for take out pizza and I have to say this is one of the best pies in the Lehigh Valley. They use a nice salty mozzarella and pair it with a flavorful sauce that is not too sweet. Crust has a good bit of chew to it, and when you combine it all you have a really great pie. This pizza also tastes great when reheated, almost as good as when its fresh. People that work here are very nice, and they obviously care about the quality of their product. The only negatives I can think of are that they dont deliver and parking in that area is really bad. read more

A small group went for lunch, the food of choice was numerous variations of their famous steak sandwiches. My choice was a large cheesesteak hoagie without sauce and a order of onion rings. The sandwich was stuffed with so much steak that the roll was barely visible. The combination of the lettuce, tomato and Mayo and cheese made this sandwich outstanding. That's the way a sandwich should be. The onion rings were very crispy, just the way I like them. The rest of the groups food was great, they ranged from cheesesteak deluxe, and regular cheesesteaks and the fries were made to order. One of the group likes very crisp French fries. The service was outstanding, as we were the only table there. It was good to see many walk ins to help this family get through these tough times.
