When we stepped inside, we realized why, it felt authentic, local, and had a rustic charm to it. Nick was out in the restaurant greeting guests and talking to people. The bread served was snapped up quicker than I could even take a picture, it tasted like European bread that I am so used to. The addition of olive oil to dip it in took me back to days growing up near quality Italian food like this. The marinara was rich in the flavor, and the chicken was tasty with a beautiful crumb. There was a choice of pasta so I opted for the pappardelle, for those, like myself, not in the know this is like a larger flat version of a linguine and is excellent to soak up extra sauce. 10/10. At the beginning the service was very nice letting us pick our table and being respectful. the water came quickly and honestly so did the appetizer. we ordered garlic parm french fries and they weren't too bad. i ordered the lobster mac and cheese and my girlfriend ordered the vodka rice balls. these came out pretty quickly and so did refills on our waters. the food was overall pretty good as we both finished our plate. the prices i feel were very reasonable due to the quality of the food and the overall reputation of the restaurant itself. The only downside was that there was something weird in my girlfriend's water and it took awhile to get the check but i understand it was kind of busy tonight. I can tell that people who work here care about their jobs and making other people feel welcome. To end my review I want to say this is a very nice restaurant and I would recommend you others. The pizza was delicious. I enjoyed the crispy dough. It was perfectly golden. We also ordered BBQ wings. Those were just okay. They had too much sauce and I simply did not enjoy the quality of the wings. Prices were reasonable. The restrooms were clean. They have a private parking lot whereas most of the area has metered street parking. I enjoyed the nostalgic visit. Loved the pizza, next time I'll pass on the wings and I'll try a different menu item.
