I've gone to Bella Nails several times after my first review. And the results have been hit or miss. Sometimes, it's been really good and sometimes I just get someone who is either having an off day or just doesn't know what they're doing. But after this last time, I think I will just look for a different salon to go to. I recently tore one of my natural nails but didn't want to completely cut it off so I called a couple places to see if they could take me for an SNS powder manicure. Bella was able to fit me in, which I appreciated. However, the manicure turned out way too thick and bumpy. This seems to be consistent with some of the other reviews I have read. I have had powder nails done before and I prefer them to look thinner and more natural. Even after using the electric filer, the tops of the nails look bumpy and uneven from the side. Thankfully they look okay if you're just looking at them from above, so I'll keep them for a couple weeks as I don't want to waste the money I spent on them. I've had good experiences here before, but it's not consistent enough for me to want to come back and risk leaving disappointed. read more

You get what you pay for. Bella Nails is different from many of the other places I get mani/pedis at. It looks and feels a lot more upscale. I always leave relaxed and happy. I'm grateful for the many times we've called and managed to score last minute appointments. I recommend arriving early because there are so many colors to choose from. I have short fingernails, and I always enjoy how beautifully they shape, file, and polish them up. The cuticle maintenance is gentle, and they apply a very nice oil. The leg massage I recently received was NO JOKE! (Thank you, Peter- you are a miracle worker!) It was wonderfully luxurious, and went on longer than expected. My calves felt incredible, and I enjoyed every second! I love the paraffin wax as well. My polish lasts a long time, and it's definitely money well spent. Tips are cash only, and well deserved. I often walk over to CVS and buy some extremely reasonable flip flops and then head over to one of the restaurants in the shopping center. If I'm going to treat myself, I may as well go big or go home, right? My last visit was May 2021, and they had plexiglass up, masks on, and took my temperature when I came in. Terrible communication, unfriendly staff, overpriced, and sloppy work. I asked for my gel polish to be removed by hand with a file rather than the Dremel tool and that created a ton of confusion. My nail tech Mja seemed annoyed with my request and she disappeared for a few minutes and returned with a bowl of acetone. As she approached I started to tell her about a broken nail I had, and she grabbed my hand without even looking at the broken nail and instructed me to put my hands in the bowl. I sat for 15 minutes as my hands became increasingly sensitive to the acetone. My fingers turned white like I had dipped them in chalk and my skin felt like sandpaper. Mia finally came back and looked at my nails and seemed shocked that the polish didn't melt off. She didn't file the polish at all or attempt to wrap them in foil, she just had me plop my hands into the acetone. I can only assume she thought I asked for no file at all, but I couldn't say for sure because she walked off and left me there wondering if I was even going to get a manicure. Another tech came over (Tammy) and I explained what had happened, so she said she would do my manicure and proceeded to file the polish off and wrap them in foil. Tammy was much more friendly and helpful than Mia. My daughter was getting a new acrylic set across from me and her tech was going so fast she nipped my daughter's thumb cuticle so badly that her blood ruined the acrylic and had to be removed. Our experience was not even close to good. We paid $75 for the acrylic set and $50 for my gel manicure. Way too much money for that kind of service! Obviously, I do not recommend. read more

The overall experience was very affordable and enjoyable. My manicurist, Kan, does a great job in both mani's and pedi's. He was really considerate about my filing and even helped me pick an oval shape that best complimented my nail type. So disappointed in the service. The whole time I was getting a pedicure the technician doing my nails was taking calls- both on speaker or FaceTime with family and friends . I felt she was rushing and skipping corners . You can tell she was not into it looking outside and was ready even to paint my nails without drying them my feet. So my issues first. Services seem inconsistent, on my pedicure services the pebble massage seems to be done sometimes. I never have seen any lavender or milk/honey included in the services. I don't want to be reminded I need to tip you during my services. My mom or I consistently seem at different time due to nail techs being distracted or servicing more than one client. I hate having to be done much later than each other because they stop or delay in between to take other clients. Then what is the point of making a appt. Had a very upsetting experience today. The technician lead me to believe that the dip gel would match the OPI color on my feet. It did not. Not even close. The pedicure looks terrible there is nail polish all over my feet. The towels were cold and when I asked for hot ones I did not get them. They had to try to fix my hands since the color didn't match. My nails are currently bubbly and there is nail color all over my skin around my nails and cuticles. I have only been home for 4 hours and one of my finger nails is chipping. I received a text message from Bella Nails that they would have a new service (eyelash extensions) I wanted to give an opportunity and support to a young entrepreneur woman so I decided to book an appointment with her on Thursday, July 15, I was satisfied with the work, but unfortunately by Sunday July 18, 40% of the eyelashes fell, even I have taking the necessary care that it entails so that the service lasts longer, I sent her a text explaining what happened it so we can book an appointment and fix the incident. She book me on Wednesday July 21 at 2pm, in that same day around 1:40 pm she sent me a text asking me to see me until 2:15pm because she had an appointment and it was taking her longer than expected, I had no problem with that and I told her it was fine. I saw her at 2:20 pm (I was behind 5 minutes) when the service ended, she told me when there's were 30/40% of eyelashes left it's charged as a "new service" and no as a "fill"to which I replied that I had communicated her the situation, she looked confused, and I had to reminded her that it had not been a single one week since She put my eyelashes on. She asked me if I had wet the eyelashes to which I answered no, that I knew what types of care are involved and I did them, she ended up charging me $20. Even explaining what happened and having a conversation she posted a photo of me on Instagram saying "y'all this isn't a fill!! make sure that you have at least 40% of your lashes remaining!! It makes my job difficult when you book a fill but come in with this! I then have to tell all my clients after you that I am running behind schedule."Which I replied "Hello, I totally understand where you're coming from, but it would be great if you take the necessary care and do the job properly so as a result, some of your clients including me, wouldn't have to go back as often to get "refills". At the end of the day, I am still a paying customer, furthermore, I expect the service to be up standard. It hasn't even been a week yet and is all the lashes that I have left, and by the way I was asked to arrived later for the appointment, thank you. She deleted my comment, I posted again and she deleted again, at this point I don't know if she blocked me or change her IG name, I just think is not professional the way manage her own business. read more

I've visited this nail salon a couple of times and they keep treating my teenage daughter as a toddler. When she askes them to keep her nails long, they cut them! When she tells them she wants them to polish her nails a certain way, they ignore her. It's so disrespectful! When I came in last time, they used the wrong fluid to remove my acrylic nails, so they had to fille them. They filled them so thin that all my nails broke the next day. It looks awful.
