I've given Seven Sisters three separate chances, and unfortunately, after my most recent visit, I will not be returning. My first experience was for a Gel-X manicure. I asked for square nails, and the nail tech repeatedly told me she would only do almond because she thought square would look bad on my fingers. I explained that I understood her opinion, but I still wanted square since I was the one paying for the service. She became visibly irritated when I wouldn't change my mind, and although she eventually did the square shape, she was extremely rough with my hands and made the entire appointment uncomfortable. I decided to give them another chance and came back for a pedicure. The person who did my pedicure was lovely, and the service itself was fine. However, when it was time to pay, the amount I was charged was higher than the advertised price. When I asked why, I was told there was an additional shaping fee and that a tip had already been included. I had not been made aware of either beforehand and had already given a cash tip. I didn't want to argue, so I paid and left. Against my better judgment, I gave them one final chance because the salon is conveniently located near my sister's house, and we wanted to get pedicures together for her birthday. I also needed my nails done, so I asked for a simple color change on my existing Gel-X set, which was only about two weeks old. The nail tech was the same person from my first visit. She immediately suggested that I get a completely new set, which I declined because mine was still new. I asked for a French tip with a pink base, and she seemed confused by the request and told me they only had one base color available, so I agreed to use it. While my nails and pedicure were being done at the same time, I asked the woman doing my pedicure--who was very sweet--to test two colors on my toes. After seeing the first color, I decided I wanted something different. For some reason, the nail tech doing my hands became visibly irritated by this, even though it had nothing to do with the service she was providing. She began speaking to the other employee in another language while repeatedly looking at my toes and then at me with an annoyed expression. I can't say what was being said, but the behavior and body language made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. To make matters worse, I was unhappy with the finished manicure. My nails were bumpy, there appeared to be dust or debris trapped in the gel, and some of the shapes looked crooked even though they did not look that way when I walked in. I was then charged $95 for what I had requested as a color change on my existing set. At checkout, the woman at the front repeatedly asked whether I had tipped and continued telling me that I "needed to tip." I believe tipping should be based on the service received, and I was extremely unhappy with both the quality of my nails and how I had been treated. I felt so pressured and uncomfortable that I eventually took cash out of my purse, tipped simply so I could leave, and walked out. Three visits, three disappointing experiences. I kept coming back because I wanted to give this salon the benefit of the doubt, especially because it looks beautiful and high-end from the outside. Unfortunately, my experiences with the quality of the work, unclear pricing, customer service, and pressure to tip have been anything but high-end. I will not be returning. I strongly recommend confirming every charge before your service begins and asking whether any gratuity or additional fees will be added before paying. If I could give this place, Zero stars, I absolutely would. But unfortunately I had to give one star. read more

Excellent quality pedicures with fantastic customer service. When you arrive, they give you water and a Madeline cookie. My favorite nail technician is Nicky. I have Diabetes and need to be very careful to avoid infections when I get a pedicure. I've been to her three times and all three times, no infections. I've gone twice and most likely won't return. They do a great job but they're terrible at time management. First time I went- I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ahead for a gel pedicure and gelx set manicure. My appointment was at 5;30. When I got there, they confirmed my appointment/ time and services. I waited 15+ minutes before being moved to the pedicure seat, the pedicure was great but at the end, they were closing and rushing everyone out. I asked them what happened to my gel x set and they said they forgot. They tried to have me come back the next day but I was leaving out of town, so they had one of the manicurist stay late to do my nails. They had me pay for my services and Venmo tip before they completed the service, which I didn't appreciate. But she did a great job so it was fine. Because of this, I decided I would come back. Fast forward to my second visit, again I called and made an appointment for a gel mani and pedi and specifically asked them to do it at the same time because I had a tight schedule (& I didn't want them to forget again), which they said was no problem. When I got there they confirmed everything once again and confirmed that I had asked for the services at the same time but they again, had me wait over 20 minutes before bringing me to the pedicures chair, and then another 30+ before someone came to start my pedicure... and then another 20 before someone came to start the "same time" manicure. I tipped them both 5$ each because of this and the girl at the front handling the register was visibly irritated about it. So 3 stars for quality of product, -2 stars for service read more

She is so detail oriented and truly cares about the outcome of your nails before you leave the shop. I usually only get my nails done for special occasions but the way she does my nails, I've become obsessed and I don't want to stop lol The ambiance of the place is also so cozy and everyone is so sweet which is always a plus! read more

Price point a bit higher than other nail salons, but you get what you pay for! I met my two sisters here and all of us are of a certain age and have different feet. Five stars for Sabrina who did a fantastic job for me and suggested a callous treatment add on, which was very thorough ( $25 upcharge but so worth it. She also helped me find the right color as well. My sister Vanessa was really impressed with how her nail tech dealt with her big toenail, which have a tendency towards ingrown status. Went here and got the basic pedicure (with gel) for $70 (tipped $15, total $5 spent) . The establishment is really nice and well taken care of. Only a couple of notes I have, the overall pedicure took 50 minutes-- just an FYI in case you have some time constraints like I did. The gel polish on my pinky toe has already peeled off (it's only been 3 days), so I'm super sad to see the gel not last as long as it normally does. Hopefully all the other toes hold up. When I walked in I asked if they had a kids pedicure for my 10 year old daughter. They said they did. They spent no more then 15 minutes with her and then 40 minutes with me for an adult pedicure. When I went to pay I was shocked to hear that the 'kids' pedicure was $50 vs mine which was $55. If I had known this I would have definitely spent the $55 to get her a decent pedicure! I went in on a whim to get a gel pedicure. They offer water or tea as well as a Madeline cookie. My tech was Sabrina and she was kind and gentle. The pedicure turned out amazing and even after a miscommunication with the color selection she quickly adjusted and did a superb job. She constantly checked on water temp and how comfortable I was. First, I want to say that Karen is amazing. She's kind, professional, and gave me some of the best service I've received in the five years I've been coming here. This review is not about her, it's about the business. I've been a customer for about five years because it's convenient, the salon is beautiful, and I enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Over the years, however, I've had several uncomfortable experiences that I overlooked because of the convenience. For example, I was once pressured by a receptionist to tip in cash, and another time I brought a group in for pedicures and everyone received a drink and snack except me. Today was the final straw. I came in for a pedicure after an exhausting week. Although I arrived about 30 minutes before closing, I was never asked which pedicure package I wanted or which scent I preferred, questions they normally ask every visit. The service lasted about 30 minutes and felt like a very basic pedicure. There was no mask, extended massage, or any of the upgraded amenities typically associated with their higher-priced services. I initially requested regular polish but later switched to gel after seeing a sparkly red color that matched a dress I plan to wear to a wedding. When it came time to pay, my total was $80. I was shocked. Nothing about the service I received justified that price. It felt like I was charged for a premium pedicure despite receiving a standard one. After multiple questionable experiences over the years, I no longer feel comfortable giving this business my money. The salon may be beautiful, but the repeated issues and lack of transparency have outweighed the convenience. As a long-time customer, I'm disappointed to say I won't be returning. read more

Very disappointed with my gel manicure experience here. Within the first day, there was significant pooling and bubbling, and the color/tone looked uneven. During the manicure, the nail tech was also pulling aggressively on my cuticles -- I yelped in pain multiple times. The photos are from day 3. After a shower, multiple nails were already peeling off, and you can also see cuts around my cuticles from the manicure itself. Now it has only been about 10 days, and 5 out of 10 nails have completely peeled off. Some minor chipping over time would be understandable, but gel polish should not be fully lifting and falling off this quickly. I've had many gel manicures before and have never experienced this level of peeling or damage in such a short time. Given the quality issues and the discomfort during the service, I'm very frustrated with the experience and would appreciate a refund or resolution from the salon. read more

Note that a full mani prep prior to starting (nail soak, cuticle cleaning, etc.) is not typically included. Also, I felt like they keep watching the lady do my pedicure and hovering over her and making me feel like they were rushing her and kind of insinuating like "you're still doing her pedicure". They also charged 20$ for a basic pedicure. I just asked for a top coat and trimming of nails and cuticles. I will attach a photo of 2 weeks later of my manicure and I literally work a desk job that my cuticles should not look the way they look. The salon is very large and most of the women are "in uniform" or very nicely dressed, up front. The vibe is cool but really manufactured with like, fake plants, statues, faux leather chairs, etc. While the quality of my manicure itself was very good (I mean, my nails still look super nice a week later) I just dont love paying $45 for a service from someone who wasn't friendly (she didn't introduce herself and didn't speak one word to me) with a massage that was about 2 to 3 minutes for both arms and hands, combined. So that's why this is four stars instead of five. I would have loved to have felt like a human during my interaction and for my massage to be more than just a minute or so.
