Katie is my go-to for hair removal. I found her almost a year or so ago when my other waxing guru shut her facility in SF down because of the pandemic. The waxing is effective, quick, not painless (come on, you're having hair pulled out- I'd be shocked if it were ever painless). But Katie does an excellent job keeping you distracted from what's going on. I will say that she won't cost you a full eyebrow, a gash in an eyebrow or fear of losing a labia during a Brazilian (you've thought it, I'm being honest here). Katie is amazing! I came in to get my eyebrows waxed because they were getting a little unruly. Katie was so welcoming and made sure to keep her mask on the whole time. She was super patient and helped me even out my brows (one brow was a little higher than the other). She used hard wax which hurts way less than soft wax. At the end of the appointment, she said there were some hairs that weren't quite ready to be plucked yet, so she made another appointment with me a few days later to get them after they grew out a bit, free of charge!
