I recently tried this place out! I was seen by Quhyuen(sp) my first time for a dark red, vampy hard gel refill. My latest appointment was with An F for a cute little playful Halloween set. Both techs were incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in applying the builder gel, shaping the nails properly and cleaning up the cuticles-- all incredibly important details before the base color even gets laid. Both were incredible with their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I was happy with the length, shape, colors and designs. I already even recommended a friend and she had a great experience with Tom as well! :)

My usual place was booked for Bio Gel Nails so I decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately the gentleman who did my nails left my nails looking sloppy. The almond shape I typically get was not done correctly (way too pointy for my liking). The base coat was 1 layer only and my nails look cracked. The French tip I asked for looks horrible as well. I would not recommend this place. I was super disappointed especially after paying $56

they treated me so well! Great service and I love my nails. Highly recommend.

Came in a little hesitant since I hadn't gone to a nail salon in about four years--I've always gone to a home-based nail tech. From the moment I walked in, I was treated so well and felt completely comfortable. The staff was kind, attentive, and really listened to what I wanted. Went in for a mani pedi and honestly for $69 plus tip the work was below standard. They did great with customer service but the work itself was very sloppy. I flew in for a wedding as a guest do this will do for a one day event but definitely not worth it. Again, people are nice, but the service rendered and outcome lacks technique.

I got a manicure that was a gel French tip. I had a good experience, and they took me right away as a walk-in. I had come in with my nails already cut short so just keep that in mind with my photo.

When you get here you're greeted with a "hi .. what do you need?" That's pretty much it for the talking. Not very friendly but perhaps it's the language barrier. Which is fine just no welcoming feeling. Oh shucks ... I just need to do my own nails. I thought I would treat myself but I get too germaphobe all up everywhere! I hate hate hate seeing used nail files be used on me. Ummm fungus. I really dislike the same unclean tools being used on me too. More fungus and then the same brush perhaps athlete's foot. Alright ... alright, I will calm down. I just hope I don't get anything. This place was not sanitized and they put plastic over the Jets. I didn't see anyone spray anything down. I need to just stay home in my bubble, I see germs everywhere I go. Hahaha! Place just isn't the cleanest. I also choose the cheapest option as I don't like all the scrapping and what not.

I'd give this place a 5 star but I come here to relax not listen to them always talking amongst themselves. Last time I went getting my nails and feet done at the same time, omg one lady doing my nails wouldn't shut up talked the whole time to the lady doing my feet. Definitely wasn't a relaxing or spa atmosphere. On the upside they do a good job. My suggestion to the workers is hold up on your conversations amongst each other and focus a bit more on your PAYING clients especially if you're looking for a tip‍ read more

I've been to this salon a few times and I've never been disappointed with their work! When I get them done they last for about 2 and a half weeks, they start lifting around the cuticle but they stay on well. A little over priced.. but I'm satisfied. read more

Came in as a walk-in full set and pedi. Tony did a great job with my pedi and Dana was amazing with my full set. She only needed to see my inspo pic once and she knew what to do. Bella has always been my preferred salon for many years. It's been a hit or miss as a walk-in, but for a couple of years Daniel was my regular nail tech and he was great. read more

Dana gave me brand new set- long -in just over an hour. I am soso happy with her work. This is my favorite ever having them and I've had them done since I was 16. She was very sweet too. I think I found my forever chair with her.... read more

I wanted to get my nails done last minute and I called several places to ask if I needed an appointment and they were all rude so this was the only place that was very nice and welcomed me with no appointment. My cousin and I got our nails here for the first time and we absolutely were very pleased with the service. They are very clean and professional even though they probably were talking shit in Vietnamese, about my toes. It's all good, I know I needed a pedicure badly. Anyways, I'll be going back soon! Thanks to the ladies that helped me today. Next time I will get the callous treatment I got the callous treatment and it's amazing! Nina did such a great job my feet feel wonderful! And my manicure was just what I wanted too! read more

love it, every time I come in I am satisfied with the results. The wait limit isn't long, been getting pedicures and manicures. Recommend going the in mornings, less busy. As well as calling to see how busy it is, most will accommodate. Love it here French tips done by Dana. Price:$40+ love them read more

Not only did they cause an infection on my finger but still had the audacity to say it's because my finger is sensitive they don't clean anything . I'm taking pills for the infection don't recommend at all at ur own risk . So painful read more

I spent like an hour there just to get a polish change with design on my toenails. One, they didn't even paint it fully. Two, the design we showed them was the one I wanted but they did it completely different. Three, It was a total waste of money! read more

The shape is not even square and she cut me.I went in the following day to go it checked out and another technician took the ingrown out. One of my favorite nail places! I drive 45 minutes to go here and i'm always super satisfied. Very clean and not much of a wait time although you can make appointments online if you want to go during their rush hours! overall a very good nail place i recommend! read more

Do not waste your time or money at this nail salon. I've been trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt for a couple months now however, every single time I leave this salon I end up disappointed. Within the first couple days of getting my nails done I always end up having a chipped acrylic nail, smudged or wet gel nail polish that's lifts, and had multiple occasions of gel nail polish chipping off. Even going back to get them fixed, the issues are never solved. Not once have I had a nail set without any issues. Not only is it an inconvenience to always have to go back on my free time to get them fixed, but the employees do not have any consideration for their clients being unsatisfied. Very disappointed. read more

I got a gel pedicure here in on June 16 by Mary and she cut the heck out of my cuticle in my right toe and made me bleed, although she did apologize that one time which was fine. Then I went back yesterday to give it another shot and I got Mary again, (this was a for gel pedicure alsog) this time she cut the heck out of my cuticle on my big left toe, I didn't really notice that she cut it until the next day and it was painful and it started to bleed. Also, I ended up having to go back because my the French tip on my right toe ended up chipping. She put something on the left big toe and it burned and I kept saying ow and she was putting so much pressure on it like ma'am please chill. Then she tried to file where the cut was like stop then before she finished with my feet, she ended up cleaning up the cut again and put so much pressure like what was the WHOLE point of that, it wasn't bleeding anymore. She didn't even apologize. I'm definitely not coming back here anymore. read more

While my nail techs were pleasant, they were very rushed to keep up the pace in upholding incoming appointments by their manager. My mani/pedi was not relaxing and felt like more of an annoyance. Plus the gel dryer was practically burning my fingers. Not a day at the a spa. read more

Took my wife and daughter out for spa day and came here. Tina and Kim welcomed and took very good care of us. Kim worked really well with my three year old daughter, she painted her nails her favorite color and also added a design. The place was very clean and comforting. They work very hard and are very thorough, I'm definitely going to take them back! read more

I have lived in Oxnard for six years. Tried pretty much every single nail salon out here. They are all crap. If you want your nails done LA style. Won't chip won't lift this is where you go. I would recommend going to Tom, Tammy or Tracy. All the nail techs there are amazing but those are all the ones that I have had personal experience with. I get everything from super basic to super red carpet glam & they cover it all here. Quick, perfect job. read more

I would give 0 star if the app would let me.... But my daughter got her nails done here and the moment where we got home and her nail polish started to bubble up and pealing so I could call them since they were close... came in the next morning to let know if they can fix it they hesitate and said they if we can come tomorrow I said no we need fix now since it shouldn't bubble up and peal off read more

When it comes to nails I'm very OCD about it I have someone who I usually go to but because of Covid they are closed for the 3rd time and not only that I recently moved to Oxnard so my nail lady is at least an hour away Coming here for the first time and I'm really happy with my nails definitely coming here again Tracy did a really good job and I can't complain Yes it's outside but they are well prepared read more

Just came out of this nail salon asking for a "soak off" and all she did was take my acrylic nail off with another plastic nail that they have in the containers. I asked her if she was supposed to put my nails in acetone which is what usually happens and she just answered with "no that's a manicure and it's $20 more" i was just charged $11 for her to rip the nail off with another nail and cut them into squares. read more

Called to ask if they're able to re do my nails and at what price and explained the situation he said to go in to see what they can do for me he had me go in just so the lady could tell me what could've been said over the phone instead of having me go over there just to tell me. I come here about every 2 months and the service each time is great! Whenever I get a mani/pedi I usually have two people working on me at the same time, but if it's busy I'll get one person for both. The ladies that have done my nails always take their time on me and are very thorough as well, so I am not sure what is going on with the other reviews (maybe it was just a bad day for the worker or you were a rude customer?). The massage chairs are also a plus! Give this place another chance if you had a bad experience because this place is one of the best! read more

Got my original set done here but after reading great reviews with Johnny, I decided to give him a shot and set up an appointment with him! Appt was for 1:30 but I got there early, and right away he was able to get started! I showed him a pic of what I sort of wanted and he made it happen, with his own twist and I LOVE it! I've been going for about 2 months now and liked the work of Dana with both my mani and pedi. HOWEVER, each time I've showed up with an appointment I'm still asked to wait as if I was a walk in. Today was my third and last time there! I had called earlier today and made an appointment with Dana at 5pm and I already had a bad feeling that I was going to have to wait again. Sure enough, I show up on time and she's working on somebody else and I'm asked go wait "10 minutes" when I know darn well it's going to be longer than that like before. What's the point of making appointments when they clearly don't honor them? Don't bother calling, you'll have to wait like everyone else so if you don't mind waiting, go right ahead. The only reason I was able to leave this time was because they didn't trap me on one of the pedi massage chairs over 20 minutes. read more

The ladies were really nice and respectful and they took me in right away with no appointment and no wait. Although, that's were the pros stop. I asked for a pedi and gel mani. The lady that did my gel mani cut my too close to my finger and cut it with a nail cutter. It was bleeding and she placed that solution on it, which helped soothe it. Because of the cut, she wasn't properly able to remove the previous gel on that nail because of the alcohol and she proceeded ripped and picked on the gel. The pedicure was average and no complaints. I can tell it was really rushed though in comparison to previous pedicures in other places. Although the above experience is something that I come across often with cheap/moderate prices places, I think part of my disappointment is that the gel polish DID NOT last more than a week until it started lifting and chipping. I get gel nails often, maybe miss a few or so, and the places I've been to never lifted at that time or had very minimal chipping. But after one week?? I wished I listened to my gut based on the reviews I wrote here but really needed a gel mani and pedi so I chose this one because it had no wait. Patience pays! read more

I've had my nails done here twice and was happy with the results. 2 days ago, I went to soak off my acrylics to start fresh for my next set. I was shocked to see the acrylic sticky and hard to remove after soaking. I've soaked off acrylic before and this was NOT acrylic. This was MMA acrylic, known to cause damage to your natural nail and illegal when used this way. My nails are already naturally thin so now I have ridges from where the acrylic sat and I lost some layers to my nails and the bottom half of my pinky nail. It took me 3 hours to soak and scrape this gunk off. Won't be coming here again. (Didn't take pictures but this is the closest representation) read more

Been here since it opened and never disappointed. Thai is seriously the best and my favorite nail tech!! He is literally passionate and on fire about his work and if You had him do ur nails, you completely know and understand!! Always satisfied a good thing to know is fri-sun is peak period times so always always have a appt to Avoid a wait time for whatever service you may want. read more

If I could... I'd give ZERO stars. I took my daughter today. She had existing acrylics which needed to be removed. She wanted a fresh set. I left to go outside to wait. When I popped back in to check things out, I noticed one nail looked injured...freshly bleeding. My daughter told me that the lady had RIPPED off the existing acrylics and was very rough. WHAT PROFESSIONAL RIPS THEM OFF??! She then proceeds to place the new acrylic on a severely damaged nail?? I asked the receptionist if there was a manager or owner on site. She seemed bewildered and asked me why. I let her know what happened. I said we aren't paying full price and I'll return when my daughter is finished. As I tried to calm down outside, I realized how damaging it could be to put fresh acrylic over an injury. I walked back in and the lady was AGGRESSIVELY taking the nails off, my daughter had to get up before the lady was finished because she couldn't take the pain and wanted to cry. The receptionist, there must not be any management at this location, proceeds to tell me, her nails are being removed and we can go somewhere else since we don't like the METHOD they use. Method? I told her I went to beauty school and that's no "method", you SOAK them in acetone to remove. Ripping the nails off would be AGAINST State Board! I let them know I will be reporting them to state board. These young girls go to these establishments and don't speak up and that's why these "sweat shops" get away with so much. If they handle clients that way, you can only imagine how much they don't care about sanitation?? Please be aware - RIPPING off acrylic is NOT state board standard. It's NOT the correct procedure. To top it off the lady doing the nails was rude and aggressive because someone actually spoke up. I've never been so upset with any establishment as I was with Bella Nails. Go back to State Board and refresh on how to do nails correctly. read more

I got the Level 1 tier 45 min for $40 with callus removal with an additional $7. The basic pedicure was exceptional quality as it included a warm water bath, light scrub, general hygiene clip & clean up, light massage, moisturizer on feet & calves and a warm towel compress. The color options here are phenomenal as well and will have something for everyone including gloss & chrome. I probably could've done without the callus removal because although it helped, it didn't quite remove the volume of the callus so I probably would just take care of that over time on my own. I walked away the salon with a beautiful color, very well trimmed and shaped pedis, EXTREMELY smooth feet but not that much work done on my calluses. The level 2 pedicure comes with an extra pre packaged scrub. The level 3 pedicure (volcano pedicure) comes with an additional pre packaged bonus scrub with several steps of skin pumice and additional treatments/scrubs. Overall meets expectation with a flare of fine quality execution~

The front desk woman assured me the manicure would happen shortly. another customer also getting a pedicure complained during that time about her mani/pedi not getting done at the same time as well. I had a really frustrating experience at this nail salon. I made an appointment for 4:30 PM, but still had to wait about 30 minutes before being seen. When I finally sat down, I showed them a picture of what I wanted--a gel pedicure with a simple flower design on my big toe. The technician told me she could do it, so I assumed everything was fine. However, at the end of the service, she suddenly told me she couldn't do the flower after all. I asked if someone else could do it, and the owner said I would have to wait because no one doing pedicures could do the design. I then had to wait another 15 minutes, which was frustrating after already being there so long. To make matters worse, the owner was rude when I was paying. She told me that next time I need to book with someone specific if I want "extra" designs, even though I clearly showed them a picture beforehand and was told it wouldn't be a problem. When I mentioned that their communication was poor, she continued to argue with me instead of trying to resolve the issue. Overall, the lack of communication, long wait times, and rude customer service made this a very disappointing experience. I won't be returning. read more

I came in 11/20/19 with my mom, sister and 3 month old daughter. My baby started fuzzing and my nail tech never looked bothered becAuse we had to stop like 5 times. He was very kind and would ask me if I was okay, and if I needed anything. Nail techs near our station would stop and try to talk to my baby to soothe her. At some point, a nail tech offered to hold her while I finished but by that time my mom was done with her manicure and help my daughter. I was beyond impressed and very thankful they were all trying to help. I have been coming here for years and have never had a problem with the work being done or the service. Yes, there has been some mistakes made but in my experience, they have always been well handled. I am now moving to Santa Paula but I will make the drive to continue getting my nails done! read more

I visited for the first time today and I am definitely going back. Ken gave me a great pedicure and was very nice. When he painted my first toe nail I became unsure of the color so he told me I could change colors and he asked what kind of color I had in mind so that he could go grab it for me. I appreciated that a lot because he made the whole experience pleasant. The lady that gave me my manicure scolded me tho because apparently I could not control my hands and messed up my nail polish. It wasn't her day I guess and she rushed a bit but my nails came out right so I am happy. read more

I like this place. It is very clean and the music helps me relax. I got my nails done by this young lady and she is very helpful. She helped me pick the right choice that go well with my outfit for my sister's wedding. I think all of the workers here are very friendly. However, the timing is still unstable. As I observed the way they work, some workers doing slow and some doing very fast. Also when there are many clients waiting, the workers seem to freak out and start to rush. read more

Got my original set done here but after reading great reviews with Johnny, I decided to give him a shot and set up an appointment with him! Appt was for 1:30 but I got there early, and right away he was able to get started! I showed him a pic of what I sort of wanted and he made it happen, with his own twist and I LOVE it! They started and all was going ok until I noticed that they painted my toes black- not the color I had given them. They also cut my nails WAY shorter than I asked. When I asked her why she used black on my toes she said that the color I gave her was running out so she just used black. She didn't ask me. She just did it that way. She does an amazing job every time and always makes great suggestions when I'm trying to choose a new color. I've also had Helen, Tammy, Yumi, and Sally do my pedicures, and every single one of them has been wonderful. They are all professional, thorough, and truly take pride in their work. And I can't forget Kevin, who never fails to greet me with a smile. He is always so friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like family the moment you walk in.
