The storefront is very simple, but once you are inside the magic begins. This was our first visit to the restaurant and I am certain that it will not be our last. Kelly was our server and was phenomenal. The interior is as authentic Italian as it gets and has ample space for numerous tables throughout the restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful. They used be great before covid. Not sure what happened to this place since.. I've noticed this with alot of restaurants. They raised the prices and then tell you that's not the price that is on the menu for that item.. it was really 2 bucks more on their iPads. They don't have the garlic cloves smashed with oil and cheese anymore. Silly excuse used on why they didn't. The noodles came out undercooked really bad. l never had that happen before. They take it back and then another 6 min goes by and the noodles come back with the same meat ball that had a missing corner out of it. The meat ball was cold and the noodles were still way under cooked. I will never go back there and its a shame because they were a favorite of mine. Such a disappointment. One shock is they didn't use a sir fee for using the credit card... like everyone else does. Shocker. read more

Worst experience ever. We arrived well ahead of our 7:30 reservation last evening and waited and waited while we watched others being seated ahead of us. We were ignored and felt disrespected and we finally left at 8:20. We had our doubts as to whether all of these parties had reservations. There didn't appear to be anyone in charge of managing the flow of people. We have been accustomed to better treatment at other restaurants and will not be returning. read more

Amazing really sums it up. The staff was all friendly and on the ball! Water was always filled, dishes were gone when they needed to be (not too soon, but not sitting with an empty plate in front of you. Food was just good! Oh the drinks! Weather was a mixed bag of tricks today. Debated ordering delivery into the hotel, visiting the hotel bar/restaurant, or venturing out. I hit up #yelp as always and decided to try another local favorite. Service was top notch. It wasn't busy but my server Ilona (I hope that was her name) was so attentive and nice. Food was DELISH, as expected based on other reviews I read before dining. I ordered the artichoke heart appetizer, knowing I would take 1/2 to go. It was seriously melt in your mouth delicious! Lemony, buttery (I don't even know if there was butter in this dish, but it was THAT good) silky good. I love that I didn't have to eat through any of the tough parts of the artichoke itself either. That was a win. On top of that they served a side plate of smashed garlic with Parmesan cheese for the bread. Garlic is AH-MAZING! Especially this time of year when you're surrounded by germs that seem to multiple like crazy. This will help do your body good! Eat all the garlic. DO IT! Then.... came the main dish. Chicken Francese. Breaded chicken, lemon sauce and pasta. I love lemony dishes if you can't tell. This dish was Enough for 2 or perfect for leftovers! I don't write many reviews. That being said I felt this story needed to be told. I have been a longtime fan of Bella Mia Restaurant. I love going to eat at this restaurant. Their food is delicious and the ambiance is good. We ate there whever we wanted to treat ourselves. The wait staff is outstanding. We visited the restaurant earlier this week to see if they could accodomate us for my mother-in-laws funeral luncheon. We spoke with owner Randy Spears. He told that there was no else booked on the day we wanted, we would have the entire restaurant to ourselves and we just needed to be out by 4:00pm as that is when he opens to his usual crowd. Imagine our suprise when we walked in to find over 100 people seated in the room we were promised. A baby shower. Randy said I forgot their was another partry booked. You forgot. How do manage to run a business? Randy said don't worry I have you seated in the library room. Imagine our suprise when 9 family members including two daughters of the deceased had to leave because there were not enough seats for them in "the library" Imagine our surprise when Randy feeling so bad for his screwup offered a free meal to six siblings. Two live out of town. This was outrageous. These are things you cannot make up. This reminds of the line out of the movie Wall Street, "Someone reminded me I once said, 'Greed is good. ' Now it seems it's legal." Apparently greed was the bottom line here. read more

This was my first time at Bella Mia. I will be going back because I have a Groupon AND because we had a good meal. I could support a 4 star review, if some things were different. We arrived on a weekday night; the restaurant was almost full which says a lot. We stood alone by the host stand for a solid three minutes. There's nothing wrong with that, but several staff members saw us and could have simply gave us a greeting. Our server was kind and attentive. She let us know that the bread is baked to order and there would be a short wait. Dishes or specials were not explained or recommended. The calamari was enjoyed by all, as well as the bread. I found the olive oil to be bland. Something infused or more robust would be nice. Entrees come with a complimentary bowl of soup or side salad. The escarole soup was flavorless and the iceberg salad was bare and hosted two large, homemade croutons. My group enjoyed all entrees: chicken vesuvio, chicken parmesan, and lasagna. The portions were generous. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the use of outdoor space is creative and cozy. Overall, I think anyone could enjoy a meal here; the prices are more than competitors, but not by too much, and the food is good. read more

My experience with Bella Mia was so-so. Our server and bus staff was very nice and accommodating,the food was good with generous portions and the warm Italian bread was very good. What bothered me the most was the music, we went there on a Wednesday evening, it was hard to hear our conversation because the volume was so loud. We asked them to turn down the volume twice. At 9 PM we heard what I would describe as a loud base sound, we finally came to the conclusion that the sound came from the next door bar. We asked for the check and left right away you could hear the music a half a block away. The restaurant is tastefully done with a good feel to it but I think the owner needs to respect their guests too. In my opinion the music isn't suited for this type of restaurant. read more

This place has the menu, food, service, and entertainment that's on the level of Taylor Street. I always tell people to try this place because they will love it. This place is a hidden gem. The portions and prices are good too. I'm Italian and I am a tough critic, but this place does it right. I love their scallops. The desserts are amazing too. Don't let appearances fool you. This place is gorgeous inside. The strip mall might throw you off, but it's truly beautiful inside. The outdoor dining is ok, but it's next to the parking lot. The food was great . The service was horrible. The waitstaff never came to table we sat for 20 minutes , then she brought out the salmon I ordered and it was the wrong order. Visited this restaurant for the first time with my family on Christmas Eve we forgot to make reservations at a restaurant we usually go to on Christmas Eve so we called around with no luck getting in anywhere finally I called Bella Mia because I heard on the radio once it was pretty good. I called, I am assuming the host answered very nice gentleman said yes they probably would be pretty busy but he would be able to make accommodations for my family and I just come in and he would make sure we'd be seated. True to his word we arrived restaurant was busy the gentleman sorry I forgot his name insured we were seated it wasn't overly crowded in the room we were in it was actually very quaint, very comfortable surroundings A nice cozy room with a fireplace. Our waitress was wonderful again my apologies don't remember her name the food we ordered was excellent top shelf, the bread and the soup before dinner were awesome overall great experience for the first time my family and I were ever there. I am very appreciative to Bella Mia and their wonderful staff for squeezing us in on a busy Christmas Eve for dinner and this will be our Christmas Eve restaurant going forward. read more

On Feb26, 2022, we had a private room at the Bella Mia for my friend's 75th birthday. And I can begin to say that it was a truly wonderful dining experience !! No joke !! Our server, Donna, was magnificent from start to finish !! In fact, everyone at this restaurant were very pleasant, including the patrons. We had plenty of Italian Bread, Italian Sausage & Peppers and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for appetizers, then Chicken Picante and New York Strip for entrees, followed by Triple Chocolate Cake.
