This is a family owned and run staple in the neighborhood. It was our choice for our monthly girl's luncheon....and what a wonderful experience!! Clean, cheerful and decorated beautifully for the New Year. Smiles, a round table and separate checks were delivered without a single complaint. What a menu!! Name it....it's there at a very reasonable price. Sophie was our waitress and she was efficient and personable. We ordered libations, delicious soups, saganaki, chicken kiev, potato pancakes, breaded pork tenderloin, chicken pepper steak and even an all American cheeseburger and fries!! I'm a sucker for a good plate of food. This morning I chose to walk the neighborhood and find some breakfast. Upon arrival I noticed a crowd of older natives and thought "They must have just opened." After the seating of my booth I overlooked the menu and seen the steak and eggs. Anyone can make a char marked steak so I decided to keep looking. I found the special and made a making of its carted items. I ate some French toast, eggs, 2Xbacon, 2Xsausage and a order of the potato pancakes. Decided to try them since they were in the neighborhood. Had breakfast the first time ..of course the ham was delicious . Then the next two times I had the seniors liver and onions. If you noticed I said the next two times Yep, I had to have it again. So tasty and just the way I like liver . Personnel were very friendly . Manager made conversation with us also . I know I'm about to feel bad about this, but it's going to be very simple. I haven't been here in years, but this time we were across the street grocery shopping and decided we are near. First off the coffee: oh wow it was probably one of the worst coffees I have hand in ages. Not sure ao much the coffee but could it of been the water? It just didn't seem right. Something was off, but I another a complainer. So I sipped it down. Hoping that the "next" cup would do the trick. (Insert ehhhh sound), it didn't! Was probably even more watered down cheap coffee tasting than the first. Bless the lady who was serving it as she just came through evsrytime you took a sip. I finally said NOOOOO, but in a nice way of course. Regardless it was bad. And my mom refused to drink the first and order an orange juice. The food: I ordered corned beef and eggs with has brown and toast. Once again, the taste was okay but the serve up didn't do it. When you order corned beef they usually slap a few eggs on top. This time it was a spoonful of corned beef (literally) and 4 small eggs wirh hash brown. The taste wasn't that bad of course (doused wirh tabasco) but it was the presentation. A few spoonful of corned beef isn't what I would expect at a diner. The customer service: impecable as the young gentleman who was our waiter was a beautiful soul with a kind demeanor. He came by and made sure everything was okay. I didn't feel like griping about the coffee so I let it go. He was perfect though. All in all, if you are I to old school diners, try them out. But bring your own coffee. Haha. It was okay at most. read more

Stopped in to Pappas to get a quick bite to eat and wow what a selection of food they had so I decided on the saganaki for starters and wow it was out in no time and I'll have to get two next time so I don't have to share with anyone lol . So I was a little undecided on which way to go so I stayed in Greece and have the gyro platter and my wife got the open face turkey sandwich which she loved said it reminded her of her childhood ok so the salad came with the meal and then before I finish my salad the entrees came out pretty quickly and needless to say was pretty good but I only had a couple of bite I was too full and didn't want to overdo it as I usually do but I'm going to come back they have a huge menu both breakfast and dinner so I'm in for a few more trips to Pappas with their great servers and quality foods Thanks read more

Don't let the positive reviews fool you. I ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash, wanting to try something new and what I received was a complete mess. I ordered the Numero Uno omelette with a side of buttermilk pancakes. I received one, cold, rolled up pancake that was put in paper! The rest of my experience after that was horrible, the omelette was gummy, cold, and honestly just gross. The potatoes were mushy. Decided to try their curbside pick-up, Thanksgiving turkey dinner for five. After pulling into the parking lot, my call-in order was out quickly and left within five minutes. Here's a restaurant with a wide variety of good food and good portion sizes! We've had it all, from one of our favorite breakfasts; skirt steak and eggs to lunch; my favorite is the Monte Cristo Deluxe, to dinner; great burgers and hot sandwiches! I stopped in here quite a few times for breakfast and I was never disappointed. The staff is great, with great service attached. The food was great too, I have ordered multiple things from their menu and was never upset with what I got. They brought my food out quickly with a smile, my coffee cup was always refilled when it was running low. They are kind to children and understanding when your kids misbehave. The prices are what you would expect, not too expensive at all. The staff is friendly even when they get a difficult customer, which I loved to see since I worked customer service for 7 years. This little family restaurant has great food and service. The staff is exceptionally friendly. I've had great salads and sandwiches with soup for lunch. All are delicious and reasonably priced. Th homemade soup is always a treat. Ther menu is vast with a good variety.
