We could not have asked for a better moving experience. Our team consisted of Dobbins, Stewart, Tristan, Jake P, and Kirk. They showed up promptly and wasted no time in getting to work. They were all extremely polite throughout and had everything moved in no time. Their attention to detail was great, making sure everything was wrapped correctly and put in the correct room. They were more than willing to help move furniture around in the rooms after it was all in to make sure it was exactly where we wanted it. We had no scratches/dings on anything even after they moved a full 2700 square foot house with multiple glass inserts in furniture and boxes full of wedding china. They were referred to me by two different friends and I would highly refer them to anyone. It was easy to tell the crew enjoyed working together as well and some of the senior members were also taking the time to show the younger guys how to do things properly (great teachers). After they finished, they were also able to call the office to see about helping my father-in-law whose POD actually just showed up at our old house (he bought from us) and the office was willing to let them go unload the POD for him since they were technically done for the day. They unloaded the full POD in 40 minutes with everything put where it needed to go. This would have taken me and my father-in-law a solid 6-8 hours to do ourselves. OMG. I rarely write rave reviews unless a company truly merits it. BEK Moving was absolutely phenomenal in my move. The best company service and performance in a business that I have ever encountered. Period. And customer success is what I do for a living. And if you ever gain the opportunity to request specific indvidiuals at BEK to do your move, Dobbins and Dolan are your guys. I have never, in my entire life, seen two guys more delighted to move heavy furniture and approach it with the sheer joy, laughter, humility, humor, mirth and white glove service than these two did. Moving for me is a chore. Moving for Dobbins and Dolan is an Olympic event, if the Olympics consisted of Ritz Carlton conceirge running all of the events. They knocked out my entire move by 10am in the morning. Start to finish. And they were like the happiest guys ever. It was a fairly easy move I suppose. But they treated every single piece of my furniture like it was porcelain from the Ming Dynasty being transferred special care to the St. Louis Art Museum. I would use BEK again, and again, and again. I can't say enough good things about them. Everything was flawless. Between the military & a medical career my husband & I know moves; 17 addresses since 2007. We recently hired BEK to handle our 2 bedroom apartment move from St. Louis to Kansas City and we're beyond impressed with the professionalism, hard work, care, speed, & cost they provided. Every step of the move from initial query to payment was managed with respect and speed - plus they offered the best price out of 3 local companies I checked with. They loaded, drove 4 hours, and unloaded all in the same day which was absolutely incredible & highly convenient as a customer. I cannot recommend them enough. We were truly impressed with their work and good attitude. A 3 man crew showed up in matching shirts & immediately got to work. They were so polite the entire day, even at the end when they should have been grumpy and exhausted. We own a home gym with over 600lbs of weights and they never complained once (even though I would have 100% understood if they had, that's an annoying amount of weight to move)! Highly recommend BEK moving company. The company is very well run and organized all the way from the office staff quoting prices to the moving crew. When you call the office, you actually get to talk to someone. When you send an email, you get a prompt response. On the morning of the move the owners stopped by to check on their workers and introduce themselves, both were very polite and you can tell take pride in providing top notch service. Michael, Nathan and Dominic were wonderful. They showed up on time and ready to work. All three were hard working, respectful, conscientious, polite, and efficient. They loaded up the truck with care. Our move was 3 hours away and entailed bringing boxes and furniture to our storage unit first. They did a great job organizing everything in the unit then headed to our condo and did a great job getting the furniture and boxes in place. I had everything labeled as to where it needed to go and the moving crew thanked me for being so organized. We were impressed how organized they were in loading the truck considering they had to take some stuff to a storage unit, some to our condo and some to the garage. Everything made it into the intended space. We felt the price was fair. There is nothing fun about moving. However, if you have to move I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the team at BEK Moving! The quote turnaround time was less than 24 hours, scheduling was quick and easy. They called twice to confirm and we're there exactly when they promised. Please understand that our move was no easy job. Due to a quick sale of our house we had to put everything in 2 PODS and 2 Storage Units. They had a 6 man team at our storage unit ready to go and knocked it out in just over 5 hours! We downsized into a smaller 2 story house with a basement and we're not sure where our things would exactly go. The entire team was super patient and understanding. Even when my wife had them move a VERY HEAVY Wine Cabinet 5 times (LITERALLY) Not once did they bat an eye at her request. They were all dressed professionally...all the way down to there BEK Socks which I thought was a nice touch. They didn't look like a ragtag bunch of misfits. I do not plan on moving again for at least 12 years but if I do. THIS IS WHO I'M CALLING! The 2 owners stopped by the job during the move to check in on their team and even pitched in. From the beginning to the end, BEK was efficient and easy to work with and I highly recommend them! If I could rate BEK Moving 6 stars, I would. Their quote was less than most the mover quotes I obtained and the actual price was lower than what I was quoted! You can't beat it. Initially, BEK quoted me for 3 movers. The day of the move, one of the movers, Nico, called me and said I could add a 4th mover if I wanted. He was transparent about the price and I added the 4th mover. When they arrived, my fiance and I witnessed the 4 strongest young men load our apartment in under an hour. Roman, Preston, Jamie, and Nico were our movers - Nico was their leader and they descended on our apartment with military precision with each mover being stronger than the next. Like most millennials, we have the IKEA Hemnes double dresser, which is heavy and bulky to move. One of them, I think Roman, moved it on his own. It was incredible and slightly terrifying to witness. When they got to our new house, they unloaded their entire truck quicker than humanly possible, all the while being incredibly polite and cracking us up. I have zero complaints and nothing but a glowing review. If you book with BEK and get Roman, Preston, Jamie, or Nico, consider yourself lucky and tip them big. read more

From the first phone call I made to inquire about an estimate for a local move to saying good bye to the incredible team of movers who made it happen, I couldn't wait to share our experience. Lauren, who is the contact person, was friendly and enthusiastic. She gave us the date we needed and made the wheels start turning. Our crew arrived as scheduled, introduced themselves and began the process of protecting our furniture to make sure it arrived without a scratch or a smudge. They worked quickly, but with care. They were professional and polite. Arriving at our new home, they took a tour to discuss where we wanted everything to go and began unloading the van. We had some large pieces that were heavy and awkward to carry. Every step they took was with with caution and communication with the person carrying the big pieces through the doorways and on the stairs to the lower and upper floors. They were so hard working from beginning to end. I can't express my gratitude enough to this company and to this team. We have moved seven times over the years and never had such a positive experience from the first phone call to saying good bye at the end of the day. This review is a little overdue. BEK moving helped us move 2/15/20. After speaking with them over the phone and getting a quote, I still had a question about the move. They came out before the move and looked at what we had the move, my questions and concerns were answered and together we had a plan of what was needed. We had four gentleman and two trucks to assist in the move. They arrived on time and for the next 10 hours they didn't stop. Extremely professional, helpful, friendly and polite. No damage what so ever to any of our belongings, the house we were moving out of and our new home. They wrapped all things in blankets and then shrink wrapped to keep the blankets in place. We had plenty of heavy pieces of furniture which they took great care of. They treated everything like it was their own. Their work effort and attitudes where top notch. I have recommended them to our realtors to pass their name on to anyone who needs a moving company. I would recommend them to friends or family without hesitation also. I can't thank them enough. HIRE THEM! I would recommend this company to my best of friends and family, and you too! They came out when they said. They packed my items with perfect level of care. They came back out the next day to do the actual move. Called me in advance BOTH days. Highly respectful, professional, courteous and as fast as they could be. I could write 3 pages about how well treated I was and my things. But alas, I won't. lol. I will tell you that I will hire them every time because they made my very stressful time of moving easy and as a single woman I felt very comfortable with them in my home. Nothing was broken. They put my stuff where I requested and even moved things to different floors for me when I changed my mind. I will say the quote they gave me was a little low, so I ended up spending about 1000 more, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Oh, but part of that was my need for their own boxing supplies. This company is amazing. We randomly saw their truck while driving down the highway, I looked them up & felt they looked credible and ethical. My instinct was entirely correct. They kept in contact with us right up until the morning of the move. Showed up early, ready to bust their butts. I barely lifted a finger. I will never move without them again- lol. Seriously though. I was so impressed with their characteristics of friendliness, work ethic, strength and respect. We have a king sized purple mattress so I was worried but they showed it who's boss. They were so efficient & knew every step of the way what they were doing. 2nd story of an apartment & it was no problem. Also- our storage room was downstairs & they even went down into the basement & grabbed all that too. They even took my husbands super large plants. Nothing is too much of a trouble for them. They made me feel comfortable & at ease the whole time. All for a good price too! Especially considering all they did. Our movers were: Reese, Dolan, & Zach. BEK Moving is the absolute BEST!! I got bids from a total of 3 companies in preparation for the move into our new house. Not only did BEK Moving have better reviews than the other two companies, I was shocked and delighted when their cost came in slightly under the cost of the other two companies. Our team leader on the day of our move was Nick. Nick, along with the crew of Dolan, Jacob, and Hicks were all incredibly friendly, energetic, polite, and -- I can't stress this enough -- these guys really hustle! We did a beginning walk through, pointing out things they were to be loaded on the truck (most of it) or not. Within seconds of our short discussion/walk through; Nick, Dolan, Jacob, and Hicks were quick to assess what needed to be loaded first, and they started wrapping large pieces, and loading up the truck. They moved everything that we wanted them to (that truck was fully loaded!), not one thing was damaged, and they were super fun to talk to as they quickly flew by hauling boxes and furniture. The CSR Lauren was very accommodating and easy to work with in scheduling my long distance move. On moving day Blake, Tyler, and the Justins were fast, efficient, extremely helpful and just plain fantastic! They arrived on time and made very quick work of safely and securely pading/packing and loading all of my belongings for a trip from St Louis to Kansas City. When they arrived at my new high-rise apartment building in KC, Blake and Tyler started unloading and were 2 trips into the unload process when the building had a fire alarm. Blake and Tyler took the alarm challenge in stride and once allowed back into the building, the guys were fast and careful with the remaining unload. What a wonderful surprise during a very stressful situation. I was moving on short notice and everyone involved in my move was a delight to work with. Lauren who was the point person for pre-arrangements was responsive, polite and thorough in her instructions. If you actually take the advice they provide in the pre-move letter, you will have a great experience. They know how to get it done quickly which saves you money. The day of the move they sent three very hard workers who loaded up in very little time what was going to fill a two bedroom apartment. Upon arrival the lead guy listened to my situation closely and responded, "I've been at this for many years, and I've helped a lot of girls move out. I'm going to take care of you today." And boy did they ever! Everything was wrapped and cared for. Nothing broken and not a scratch. They were fun to work with too. They had me laughing many times on a difficult day. Had a fantastic experience with BEK! Was able to get my move on the schedule fast and the pricing was the best around. Reese, Dolan and Ethan were amazing ---- very friendly, helpful and completed the job within the time frame estimated. They worked very hard and were meticulous in making sure door frames, walls, floors and furniture were not scratched, dinged or damaged. When confronted with hurdles with some of the pieces of furniture trying to get them out of a three story townhome, they found a work around and called a manager for additional expertise on one piece of furniture that would not come apart in order to move it. I had also inquired about furniture we wanted to get rid of & after doing the initial walk-thru and obtaining the list of furniture we no longer wanted, Reese had an estimate from the office very quickly and they took that furniture at the same time as the furniture being moved. I have dealt with movers in the past both personally and professionally (healthcare) and have never had as good as an experience as I did with BEK. They were awesome! read more

I have been involved in many moves throughout the years, and it's VERY rare that you will find a group of movers that cares about your personal belongings as much as you do. Dolan, Jamie and Robby surprised my wife and I when they carefully wrapped everything they moved in blankets and plastic wrap. Not only were they careful, but throughout this very long and hot day, they had a great attitude. They were genuinely respectful, professional, and courteous with a good sense of humor and a solid work ethic. Due to many factors out of our control, the move went longer than expected, but before the time of the original bid was over, Dolan let me know the situation and kept me posted on the progress. Although the cost was more than the original estimate, due to the previously mentioned stuff out of our control, the extra cost was fair and they still took care with the move while working as fast as possible. Great experience overall! Move date set-up was easy and they easily accommodated moving-up my scheduled date when requested. They followed up a number of times by email to get an exact idea of what the move entailed, provide pre-move checklists, and kept in touch just prior to moving day. On day of move the job prior to mine was completed early, so I was contacted to begin my move ahead of schedule- the team advised they would hold until I was ready for them. Reese, Austin C., and Jake P. were extremely fast, courteous, friendly, cognizant of taking care not to damage walls or floors, and happy to ask for my guidance and to resolve any questions. All boxes were moved without issue or breakage; all beds, furniture, appliances, etc. were wrapped with moving blankets and cling wrap and moved without issue or damage. The team was happy to place all items exactly where needed and arrange furniture as requested. Move was completed in far less time than estimated due to this fast-moving team.
