We used Goodfellas for our move into our new home. We had a four bedroom home and storage unit. They were on time seven guys arrived with two trucks. Each guy introduced themself and shook my hand. They treated our stuff extremely well. Wrapped with moving blankets and shrink wrap. They even took the news well that we wanted some stuff moved to the basement rather than left in the garage as we originally stated. Thanks to Rulo, Matt, Logan, Nate, Draper, John, and Canyon. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They spent about 2 hours doing literally nothing, three hour overall to unload 4 pieces of furniture. They were told not to unwrap anything and they spend an obscene amount of time doing that too. They gouged my walls, put holes in them, charged me almost $300 more than the quote (with a TON of waisted time) told me they'd get someone out to get the holes patched. No one ever reached out. When I contacted them a little while later they told me that I said I'd patch the holes, I didn't and have four witnesses to say so. When I tried to argue it there was the old "well you're out of luck" response companies give when they don't want to deal with someone and said the issue is closed because they sent a check for $50 so that I can patch the holes they made. This company is dishonest, disreputable, and dismissive. They will damage your property, lie about it, and overcharge you at the last minute. If you use them, record everything and babysit the movers a if they're teenagers at a party. It's the only way you have a chance at not being screwed. read more

I know there are a lot of horror stories out there about moving companies, if you want to avoid that I'd recommend going with these guys. *** DO NOT USE THEM*** Worst experience I've ever had with a moving company. They were over an hour late and didn't call. We had to call the company ourselves. When the movers did finally call they said "they had to get breakfast still and then would be on their way". Totally understand how important breakfast is but would appreciate it being eaten not 45 minutes into our scheduled time. Then my husband and I watched the truck drive by our street. Then 10 minutes go by and we finally get a call. They apparently FaceTimed the owner and the owner told them to just leave because they weren't going to fit on our street because there were too many trees and cars. At that time we tried speaking with Ashley at the front, who was very helpful and nice, explaining that we would like a chance to show that a truck could very easily get down out street. At the very least wanted someone to look at where we were and confirm they indeed could not make it down our street. The owner said "he's off today and doesn't work" but had the time to talk with the movers and tell them to just forget our move and leave, but didn't have time to talk to us. Not once did they ever ask us prior to this what type of street we were on despite us telling them we lived in south city which is known to have street parking. We also asked if they could park on a different street since we had already seen them make it down that road. They didn't call us back and just left. They then tried to schedule us for a week day despite us saying we could only move weekends as we both work corporate jobs. And before the owner comments on here and says "I didn't use them" we booked under my husband whose name is Alex. More than happy to send copies of emails saying we were confirmed- if they owner is willing to talk with us? We have another company coming out who laughed at this and said "we've moved on your street plenty of times with a 26ft box truck so I don't know what their problem is" **editing to add a picture that another 26ft box truck was able get on to our street with no problems whatsoever. read more

I was in need of a good clean moving crew who were fast and reliable. I found the team of Charlie and Steve to exceed my expectations and they were very professional and knowledgeable. They arrived with a large van that was equipped with a two wheeler that easily moved the 15 totes plus some other boxes. I highly recommend them for your family and your friends. Run. Choose someone else, there's a lot of good companies out there! I would recommend BEK, who had to come after these guys to get the job done and they were great!!!!! These guys showed up and were rude, unprofessional, and didn't want to be working. The office staff didn't list most the items we had given them on the paperwork the crew had- so when the crew came and saw more and different items, they said they'd only move what was on the (incorrect) list. I could go on and on about this bizarre and disappointing experience but ultimately their crew made me very uncomfortable, they did a horrible job, and left without filling their truck, . We tried reaching their office/owner through multiple channels while they were at our home but they took 5 days to respond with a passive aggressive email, taking no accountability. read more

I spent time in the military and my first couple of in-town moves were done by friends and involved beer and pizza at the end. Then I had my first cross country move and Uncle Sam hired a moving company who did it all for us and I was spoiled from then on. Goodfellas is worth every penny! I had a crew of 3 Goodfellas, they were energetic, friendly, professional and fun. They packed me up on one day and moved me cross town another. I treated them to a couple of meals along the way but no beer for them, however if they dropped by after shift? No worries, I got them chilling in the fridge! We had used Goodfellas before and had great results. So when we where moving again, we used them. This time however, it was a complete disaster. Truck showed up later an hour and half. Three guys but one spent more time vaping in our bathroom and walking around than loading. We had to get a 2nd truck which we rented from uhaul as truck was full. I have no issue with that. I do have issue with the next day a 2 day move, they did not show up until noon to unload. Understanding they have a time line in which they can drive they unloaded their truck first. Leaving the uhaul to be onloaded by us. This was an issue as NOTHING they took apart was assembled as they had hap hazard loaded the first truck and did not finish a room and nothing was placed complete in one truck. I was willing to pay the extra fees to have the other truck unloaded, but when your paying for 3 guys and only have 2, it is not right. I hired them due to some objects I needed moved and the crew complained and refused to move them where I needed them to go. I highly recommend that you go else where. This was the worst and the honesty of the workers was questionable at best. I am considering filing suit against them as they have created a hug mess. read more

After the move, we noticed some damages to the door and door frame, so I contacted the owner and he was thankfully able to resolve the issue. We used Goodfellas Moving company this week and had a great experience! Our movers were Christian, Byron and Gage and they were extremely polite, organized and fast. We were so unorganized to begin with and these 3 came in and took care of everything. They wrapped our furniture, took large pieces apart, they were really careful and were always cheerful throughout the whole move. They made a stressful day pleasant. We couldn't believe how fast they were and how much they fit into the ruck! We would highly recommend them. The price was great and we will def use them again. We had a terrible experience with Goodfellas Moving, and wouldn't recommend them under any circumstances. We hired them to pack some of our household items and personal belongings for a move, and they were nice guys and worked quickly. However, when we received the boxes at our new home, we were shocked by how poorly some of the fragile belongings were wrapped and boxed. They placed a few pieces of paper around a newer 48" Samsung flat panel tv, and had it resting on it's side on the bottom of the box. There was a heavy item packed against it on the screen side, which scratched the glass. But the worst part of our experience with them was that they destroyed my wife's wedding bouquet, which had been professionally dried and placed in a vase. They wrapped a piece of paper around it, and shoved it sideways into a box against a corner. We found it ruined. That was very upsetting; the bouquet was priceless, and irreplaceable. I contacted Jeff at Goodfellas and he said he was sorry, but they have "zero liability" for the way their guys pack items. I sent photos of the damage to him, and he never answered after his initial "zero liability" response. It's important to note that the exterior of the boxes had no damage at all. (In fact, none of the boxes had any exterior damage; the only damage was to items that Goodfellas packed.) The scratched TV and the ruined bouquet were the result of their careless packing. I've used this company 4 times in the last 8 months and every time they did great. This last time things got left behind and lost in the move. We are having to move the rest of the things they did not move such as a treadmill. Not happy with the way things were handled when this was brought up. Christian, Sky, and Matt were all very polite and professional they moved not only all of our items to storage they also moved items into our car for us. I recently used this company to move some furniture, all I can say is DON'T use them! They literally damaged everything they touched and the owner has done nothing to get it resolved. I posted a comment on their fb page and they immediately removed it without even commenting. As business owners we all can make mistakes how the owners respond to the issues is what matters and the owner of this company has seriously failed. I do NOT recommend!!! and YES I was a customer and have since now found several other unhappy customers all with the same complaint!! I heard about this company on the radio and their prices were good with good insurance coverage so we opted to use them. The mivers were really nice, but tried to move a dresser without looking to see that they were leaving scratches down our hallway and across our living room. We told the movers that the desk in our basement was really heavy and it was best to take as much apart as possible to lessen the weight. They opted to leave the top of the desk on and as they moved it up thw stairs, the desk cracked in half. They filed a claim with their claims manager. The claims manager said they wouldn't cover it because they claimed it was "pressed wood". This was never disclosed to us that if they deem something pressed wood it is not "meant to be moved". Really disappointed in this company. I wod not recommend them if you have any furniture that they might even THINK could be pressed wood. read more

Tucker and Bobby moved me out of a one bedroom garden apartment to my first home. These are some hardworking guys. They did not stop moving. I kept texting my sister and cousin if i should help and they said just stay out of their way. They were right because I would have slowed things down LOL. I hired Goodfellas moving company and the experience was very disappointing. When I scheduled the move I was told that the movers could stay as long as I needed them. When they arrived the young man informed me they had three other jobs and seemed irritated with the amount of stuff to move. Whatever. He parked the truck at the end of our driveway rather than backing into our driveway then refused to open the doors and use the ramps onto the truck. He remained on the truck while the other two movers and myself brought items out to him and lifted them into the truck. One mover was wearing slip on shoes and spent more time trying to keep them on and his pants up than he did moving anything. He would find the smallest objects and carry each piece out one by one. I said I'll get this stuff if you guys will just get the bigger stuff like the furniture and the boxes I have stacked. He replied with "oh, it's okay. I got it". Rather than using a dolly they opted to carry mostly everything which took more time and more money. Again, I assume this is because they didn't use the ramps to the truck and had to lift everything into the truck piece by piece. Moving on to the new home, They left 15 minutes before I did and I also had to make a stop and I still arrived before them. The driver then took 30 minutes trying to get the truck turned around and parked in our driveway. He eventually realized he was not going to be able to turn the truck around in the circle so he drove to the end of the road and then backed down the road to the house. All of which I was charged for. This time they used the ramps to move the items off the truck and it seemed to move much much quicker. I had 2 large boxes which contained two parts of a sofa. I asked that they put them flat so that they would not fall because I have two small children and I didn't want them to fall or be knocked over. They didn't do that, they left the box standing in the middle of the room. They left several items at the previous home despite asking them several times to please take the items. One piece of furniture was damaged across the bottom because they only wrapped the top with moving blankets. Overall, this was a poor job. These young men could have done this job in significantly less time had they used some organizations and the equipment they have. Not only did I spend a lot of money I had to then return to the home and move several items and will have to rent a trailer to move a few things. I would not recommend using good fellas for a move. read more

These people were the worst, they sent an amateur crew out with an organizer who didn't even know where to begin and organizing the move or loading the truck. After steady making excuses for the first hour they were there, yes without even moving one thing, I finally got so distressed that I called their Office to report this awful situation going on and nobody could help me and the owner was passed a message but declined to call me back. I don't know about you but I expect way better customer service than this these people are hugely lacking, but it's your money, as you can see below the owner Jeff tried to make excused that were complete lies! We needed help moving our heavy furniture from our 3rd floor apartment to our rental truck. We only planned to have 2 guys move for 1 hour since there was only a few pieces of furniture we needed them to move. 3 guys (Jeff, Byers and Johnny) showed up instead of 2 and they knocked out the majority of our furniture, even the smaller pieces we anticipated doing ourselves. It was super hot and humid that day and none of them complained, they just buckled down and got the job done. We were very impressed with their efficiency and positive attitudes! We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends who are moving. Two thumbs up!! read more

The employees that moved us were very kind. It did take them almost 13 hours to complete our move. Was told that they were fully insured that if items were broken/damaged they would replace, repair or compensate. This is not true as I found out today. Brand new Temperpedic box springs ripped and damaged (covers that were supplied were not used). Irreplaceable items were broken when heavy box was placed on clearly marked fragile China on all sides of the boxes. Scratches on furniture that were not there but was not even going to claim. Very disappointed in the attitude of the representative for my claim. Would not recommend them to move anything of value (sentimental or otherwise). read more

My mom and I used this company for her move. Scheduling the move was easy and the person who scheduled it was very nice on the phone. When moving day came they time frame was to be 2-5- of course they showed up a little after 5. During the move a few things were damaged and one of the men smashed his hand on a desk. He bled all over the front porch and entryway. My mom helped him wash his hand off and bandaged it twice. Finally it was all loaded up and they drove the 30 minutes to her new home- took them a little bit extra to find the place. They unloaded and we discovered a few things damaged- possibly fell while in transit? The men insisted they didnt break anything. The move finally ended at 845 pm. On Monday someone called to ask how everything was- my mom told him. The guys name was Jeff and he asked that we send him pictures of the damage. We took pictures and I sent an email with a description and pictures. We have yet to hear back from this company with a response. I have emailed a second time requesting a follow up call. Nothing!
