We tried the Combo Pad Thai, House Tempura, Beef Teriyaki, and Albacore Sashimi today (7/11/21) The Sashimi had a spongy texture and didn't seem as fresh as it could have been. The Pad Thai had no spice and very little flavor, I was a bit concerned I was getting sick, but my son and husband tasted it and had the same experience. The same thing with the Teriyaki. The Tempura was average. I have had their sushi rolls in the past (before pandemic) and nigiri and they were okay. The portions are generous and I know that a lot of people like this place for the sushi. We had wanted to try the other offerings just to see. I think in the future I will stick to just the sushi rolls if I go back to try again. read more

Who would have thought that you would find sushi in Wyoming!!! This was a great find - staff was very friendly. I went for lunch, mid-day and it was very quiet. Service was prompt, food was fresh and flavorful. Being from Southern California I was a little worried but the fish was delicious. I had salmon sashimi, eel nigiri and a scallop roll along with a lunch special. Looked like there was a variety of rolls - a bit pricey but not surprising considering where I was. It was a surprising find and now I know if/when I relocate there is a good place to get my sushi fix! read more

The food here is not bad. However, the staff is not friendly at all! After having lunch here with a friend three times, paying for my meal including an undeserved generous tip with my debit card, upon receiving my bank statement they fraudulently added an extra dollar every time. Be sure to check your account you use to pay your bill. Two separate times they added on to the tip I put on the ticket. I didn't catch it until I was reconciling my account. And, I'm a generous tipper! I have not been back! Cheyenne does not tolerate dishonest businesses! read more

Food is decent but the service is terrible, they treat you like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. Place would be a lot better if they taught their staff to treat customers like their livelihood depends on customers coming back. The interior of Bejo was fabulous! But, as with all Wyoming restaurants, it fell short on complete ambience and quality of food. Country music and Asian cuisine do not compliment each other. The restaurant had an off-putting smell, too. Sushi was poorly made, with generic fillers. If we were to go again, I would opt for a simpler meal, like sweet and sour chicken, instead. The quality of food is not worth the price. It wasn't horrible. But, when you walk into an elegantly designed restaurant, you expect more from the establishment. Three stars. read more

I had a nice lunch date here the other day and I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing selection of sushi and other Asian dishes on the menu. Everything tasted fresh and had great flavor. The restaurant itself is an odd set-up that makes me think this was once a pool hall, perhaps, or a large dance club in the recent past. However, that didn't take away from the great food experience. The staff was also friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable, as well. Like I said, I wasn't expecting amazing sushi in Wyoming but I was wrong.... Give them a try! Who would have thought sushi in Cheyenne? I loved it. It's so spacious, clean, and friendly. As for the food, I would definitely recommend Bejo if you're in Cheyenne. Got the miso, hot and sour soup, salmon roll, playgirl, and Singapore mei fun. It's all over the place as far as Asian dishes, but they did good! Also got the spicy edamame and hot tea and everything came to only $50. Just had less food than this in another non-Asian populated state and it was twice the price with 1/2 the quality. read more

Yeah. No. Went the first week and it was awful. They couldn't tell us what was in each roll. Their sashimi was frozen!!! Bahahaha We ended up guessing by the names of the rolls and paid 12-14$ a roll for every roll to be some variation on spicy tuna. No other fish in any of the rolls! Liked this resturant alot! They do sushi and Chinese and udon. Beautiful resturant, semi private booths. I had two rolls, the salmon lover and another one with salmon.. very fresh. I did notice that there were thin slices of fish on top compared to other places, HOWEVER, they give you a super generous amount inside the roll itself! On my rolls I was pleased that they didnt use too much rice and were made well. Service was fast and friendly and they gave me complimentary miso soup. CONS: -Prices, I got two semi classic rolls and it was $25. They had a large list of "specialty rolls" that were almost $20/each (crazy expensive IMO) -The sushi menu, there was a large section of rolls without discriptions. If, like me, you can't eat certain types of fish ordering can be super difficult. I had to ask a description of every roll. I HOPE THEY FIX THIS! Overall a good experience. read more

Nice place located in downtown Cheyenne. Doesn't look like much from the street but nice on the inside. Lots of nice booths, attentive staff, and good food. I am not much of a sushi guy but did enjoy the one I tried and rolls are big. Also had the beef and vegetables which was very good. I would definitely go back. read more

We ordered like a normal place and while the $6.99 rolls are six pieces like you would expect, the fancier rolls that usually are usually six pieces but twice as much.... We're massive! We left absolutely stuffed and had to take boxes with us. And delicious doesn't seem to be an accurate enough word. The owner came out and chatted with us too. I had the seafood fried rice and my partner had mixed vegetables. Both were delicious. However the service was poor. Maybe because we arrived about an hour before closing time on a weekday? It took us a while to flag down any waiter once we decided we were ready to order. Then they said they were unable to make either of their large specialty soups for us. A group of us did lunch here today at the recommendation of a co-worker who was also present. While the service was punctual and friendly, the food fell short. I ordered a Sex on the Beach Roll and the Eel and Avocado Roll for my meal. The Sex on the Beach lacked flavor and wasn't something I'd get again. The avocado on the Eel and Avocado Roll was old and had already begun to brown. I think the only thing I enjoyed was the egg-drop soup and tea. I'm also sorry to report that several of those who attended this afternoon experienced stomach pain following the meal. I too had to consume 1/3 a bottle of Pepto to make it through the remainder of the day. I will most likely not come back to this restaurant. read more

Great sushi for a great price! My boyfriend also really liked his sweet & sour chicken. I stole a piece (delicious!) I'm so used to spending a lot on sushi that this was a pleasant surprise! Staff was friendly, and the owner was very nice and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and that the food was good.
